They are rude do not respect the customer and do what they want to do. They do not care about total hair care they only care about blow dry (that is harsh to African American hair) and heat. I'd love to know where they graduated from. They need to learn customer service hard and soft skills.

Quick, professional, and clean. A bit pricey but if you like quality you definitely will have results. I recommend the deep conditioning. It has the first day results for about a week or two depending on how you care your your hair.

I only go here when my beautician is not working due to vacation, family commitments, etc. I can get in and out in a timely manner. My hair is silky straight and bouncy when I leave.

Fady has grown my hair over the past 6 months. He takes his time and gives me exactly what I ask for. I love that I don’t have to make an appointment to see him. I can just walk in when I am ready to request his services. Everyone else in the shop is friendly and their customers seem to be happy too. As long as I live in Chicago, Mena’s in Marshfield plaza will be my salon, and Fady will be my stylist

I asked for a wash and blow dry on my daughter's hair it took 4 hours the guy that washed her hair was inexperienced he balled her hair up as he wash it then started combing from the root when conditioning it I had to ask 3 times for someone to help or teach him how to come hair! Then they had a guy with minimal experience on blowing drying take another 2 hours to dry it. I watch so many people come and go! If I could give negative stars I would!

I have been coming to this place for a while now for color and curls, but they getting worst and worst, I’ve seen 3 ladies come in complaining and the staff is rude and just don’t care about the customers. I will not be returning at all.

I love Menas. I have natural hair, I get color, deep conditioner, press and curl. I always look amazing. I would give 5 stars but they gotta do better with the blow dryer. And if u want your curls to last longer try pin curls at nite. And remember if u have natural hair humidity is not your friend so avoid getting your hair pressed in hot weather.

they washed and blow dry and flat iron my 13 year old daughter hair, they ask in the mid of flat iron do she want her ends clip, ok yeah.... instead of saying it would cost more they just ask i agree, get to the counter its 85$? what for a blow dry and flat iron? oh she got really thick natural hair and plus we clipped her ends ..... umm excuse me her hair not even straight its still shaggy. this why i stick to my own kind (black) and yall really fly to these ppl smh when i say NEVER AGAIN I MEAN THAT FROM SOUL THROUGH MY FLESH

I love HANA she is the only stylist I let do my hair. She’s been doing hair for 10+ years and you can tell she loves what she do. She has grown my hair from 2inches to 18 !!!! I be so happy when I walk in and see her there because she makes me feel so pretty when she’s done with my hair. She cuts my hair so perfectly not too much but exactly what I need to keep my hair growing. I LOVE YOU HANA YOU ROCK GIRL ❤️ Love Adora 🫶🏽

Ok so their site says they close at 7p and I walked in and he said they’re closed. I’ve come here a few times around the same time and they’ve seen me. So I’m only posting because I really think businesses should be consistent. Maybe he was tired... idk but he was watching someone else do hair. Not digging them just being honest.

Took my daughter who is natural with long curly hair. We have been to other Mena’s salon so I thought it would be the same…….I WAS WRONG! As soon a you walk in they are pushing deep conditioner and trim not once looking at her hair texture or health of her hair. By the way her hair is extremely healthy. She got a trim which was horrible! My daughter hair was cut by 2-3 inches and choppy with different lengths throughout her hair. I explained my dissatisfaction about the cut all I got is “we will try to fix it” THERE IS NO FIXING WHEN YOU CUT 2-3 inches!. My daughter was in tears! Parents think twice before you decide to go here!
