I’ve been having Troy cut my hair for years. Hands-down the best barber in Baton Rouge. I drive all the way from Denham Springs for him to cut my hair because it’s worth it.

I am always welcomed and offered a beverage when I come in. Mercer has a great atmosphere, especially when it cools off a bit, and they open the side doors. All staff are friendly and helpful.

Had a cut with Jarred this afternoon. I scheduled a men's haircut which is listed as being 1 hour and including cut, wash, and neck shave. Was called back 5 or so minutes after my appt time which is fine, nbd. Told Jarred generally what I was looking for and explained that I wanted my beard a bit cleaned up as well, like 2 or 3 minutes of clipper work, nothing excessive. I guess I was supposed to book a seperate 30 minute long appt to get that. He said he'd do it "free of charge" and just take out the hair wash and neck shave. I obliged because I figured it was needed in order to stay within my 1 hour window. Well, my haircut took maybe 20 min and then he messed with my beard for 3 or so minutes and then cleaned me up quick and sent me on my way. In total I was in the chair for less than 30 min... for my 1 hour cut... that I paid $55 for. Jarred was nice enough, cool guy, the facility was nice, but honestly could've got the same cut quality at any chain for half the price.

I always enjoy going to Mercer for my hair cutting needs. Jarred is a Master of his craft and I never leave without a smile on my face. The Staff and atmosphere keep me coming back. I highly recommend Mercer Supply.

Dwayne Mercer is a fantastic master stylist and his brother Troy is also amazing. The Mercer Bros. have created an amazing atmosphere that is great for both men and women. The staff is cool and the location is even cooler. Whether you need an updo or a beard trim and a haircut, you'll be right at home at Mercer Supply. Dwayne is quite popular, tho, so expect a wait to get an appointment for his magic! He's been doing my hair since 1994!

This place is spot on. Great cut, reasonable pricing. I have longer hair, typically a scissor cut. Had some real bad luck at most barber shops around Baton Rouge, but Troy did a great job. Recommend these guys for any cut.

Love these guys! I always go to Troy, the atmosphere is welcoming and everybody is nice and professional, and their work is fantastic. I haven't had a bad haircut yet. They also offer drinks when you get there, which is a nice touch, and a hundred percent will be going back.
