If you're looking for a massage that loosens those deeply seated knots and adhesions, Metamorphosis Holistic Spa is the place to go. I have been a client for many years and have had work done on the usual places (e.g. neck, back, hips, etc); the relief consistently continues long after the massage! But what I'm most grateful for is that one time when my old knees were so painful that I could barely walk. She advised that the relief might be short term, but that one adjustment has held. I find it worth the trip into Seattle worthwhile for periodic appointments.

This is the best massage I have found in the area since moving to Seattle a few years ago. I have tried others but usually the pressure is insufficient or it's very expensive. This place works for my body and also it's a comfortable atmosphere.

After sitting for five minutes, every step I would take afterwards for ten minutes caused extreme pain in both of my hips. Five trips to see Aubra, and the pain was gone! Thanks Aubra!!!

Aubra hands down does the best massage I’ve ever gotten in my life. I’m someone who has gotten massages regularly and let me tell you Aubra is one of one! I’ve never had someone massage me in such a way that helped my pain go away the way she did. She combines different techniques so her massage is definitely unique and effective! Aubra is the absolute best!! Seven years ago, I tore my left ACL and had knee surgery. A year after, I started suffering from right hip pain from putting all my weight on the opposite side of my knee. It’s been six years of hip pain and now some arthritis due to wear and tear on it and I’ve been desperate to find a solution. Thankfully, I saw Aubra’s sign while I was at a farmers market and decided to give her a try… fast forward two months later and I feel like I can sit here and say, what hip pain? Aubra is truly a miracle worker. Aubra does a massage unlike any other I’ve ever experienced, and I’ve done a lot of massage therapy and physical therapy! I’m so thankful to have found her, my hip has felt the best that it has felt in years!!

I came to Metamorphosis after a rotor cuff repair. The doctor's prognosis was that I would have maximum 30% use of my arm after PT. Aubra said she could get better results with massage; she sure did! She worked on my arm, over time moving my muscle from mid arm back to where it belonged. My range of motion is near perfect. And I have regained strength in my shoulder and arm. In fact, the doctor was amazed at the results. After 17+ years, I still have use of that shoulder and arm today. Many times in the past I have had pain in various areas, from work and other injuries, with little relief. Thru massage that pain is greatly lessened. I can can also move more comfortably, and work with minimal pain. Repeat treatments keep me able to return to a lifestyle I am accustomed to. The relief I've received over the years has been an excellent investment in my well being. I highly recommend Metamorphosis for therapeutic massage.

I get the Myofascial massage and will be trying more services in the future! I was searching for an alternative solution for my intense chronic pain from Endometriosis. I have spent years struggling to find relief and was exhausted/frustrated/at my wits end with going to multiple doctors, tests, procedures, etc.; only to be told there is nothing they can do to help with my pain without taking extreme measures that would put an immense amount of stress on my body. The Myofiacial massage has done wonders for my pain relief! Aubra is amazing! She is so incredibly knowledgeable about the body and holistic health. The spa is nice, clean, and she is consistent with giving QUALITY services. I am so happy to have found Metamorphosis and I highly recommend trying a Myofiacial massage if you struggle with similar issues and are looking for relief.

I thought I had a problem with my hip joint. I never knew that the fascia of muscles could stick to each other and become knotted and cause what I was feeling. Aubra was able to effect significant relief, which may be long-lasting. I highly recommend her work.

Not a fan of massages, but as I've aged I've gotten a lot more inflexible. An instructor from my palates class recommended I try it again. Just happened to pass a sign for Metamorphosis as I was leaving class. I booked an appointment and 3 massages later not only an I noticing changes (less creaky), but my instructor just commented on how much more range I had. In addition, I've been having issues with plantar fasciitis in one foot. It's been sore to touch, so I was concerned how much it would hurt to be massaged. But not only did it not hurt but felt wonderful. Three massages later and down to a slight twinge. Highly recommend Metamorphosis!

First of all, Aubra gives GREAT massages and facials. She really gets in there and breaks up sticky spots and the facials include a lovely neck and head massage and good good products. As talented as she is when massaging, she really lacks an awareness of time and her self management could be better. She often (like upwards of 10 times in an hour massage) needs to excuse herself to go to the bathroom, take care of things, and it seems like there’s always some tech issue or something she’s trying to address while in the middle of the massage. When I’ve booked hour long massages she will spend 45 minutes on one per of my body and then hurry through the rest telling me I need to book a longer massage if I want more covered, but this also happened when I got a 90 minute massage…I’ve had some funny experiences with her telling me she’ll call me at a certain time and then not hearing from her and then suddenly getting multiple calls from her from 9-10pm. Additionally, the comments she makes about her mask wearing preferences leave me a bit on edge, as does how close she gets to my sensitive private bits sometimes. There is also an interesting dynamic where Aubra wants to help you with all of your health problems in ways that have worked for her rather than under the guidance of your healthcare professional. Her facility is lovely and nice and it’s a difficult time for all of us, especially small business owners so I encourage you to give her a try! It’s great how she can fit you in on short notice, but ultimately after 2 massages and a facial I’ve decided to take my business elsewhere in search of a more relaxing experience that feels a bit more grounded.

I have been dealing with numbness in my head, neck, shoulders, back (and more) since October 2019. The numbness is due to nerve compression from the rock like adhesions that have formed along my spine and in my shoulder. I found Aubra in November 2021. Within a few visits, I knew she’d be able to loosen them over time. She innately understands how interconnected every part of the body is, and how to approach loosening the fascia (our bodies connective tissue). There is much, much more I could say, but for now I’ll just say: highly recommended.

I have been going to see Aubra at Metamorphosis for a few years now. At first it was for an emergency blemish on my face which she fixed in one visit. Then it was for a deep tissue massage treatment for tight shoulders and knees. I'm a serious beach volleyball player and play 3-4 times a week in the sand, which takes a huge toll on my body. Aubra is able to break up the fascia and keep me healthy and able to play at a high level. Her technique is unsurpassed and she has a great bedside manner. I would highly recommend Metamorphosis Holistic Spa for a facial treatment or deep tissue massage.

I really wanted to like this place because it’s local and it’s a small business and while the massage wasn’t horrible, everything else about the experience left a lot to be desired. Some of my concerns were related to the cleanliness of the place and the health of the owner in general, and the lack of sanitary conditions. For a similar price, you can experience a lot better quality and ambiance at a local well known established spa facility. Unfortunately, I will not be going back.

Today was my 4th visit to Metamorphosis Holistic Spa. I’ve gotten several Micro-current toning sessions, and have already started to see results. My skin is definitely smoother and brighter and I noticed that my eye bags are less visible now. The spa owner, Aubra has an amazingly wide knowledge of skin care and nutrition. She is also super skilled when providing facial services. I’ve gone to many spas before, but not too many estheticians pay attention to details like she does. I wasn’t expecting my neck to be included in the facial package, but Aubra ensured I get the full benefit of the package I purchased. Another nice thing is she keeps the salon very nice and clean. She takes one client at a time and leaves 30 minutes between each client to clean the area due to COVID-19. If you’re looking for a skilled esthetician, this is the place you want to go!

Aubra is amazing! She shares helpful information as she works, offers suggestions for continuing to care for yourself after her treatments, makes room on the schedule to get you in quickly, and of course works to release fascia. Additionally, I had an injury, and beyond working with a chiropractor (which was fantastic), Aubra's work on my injury was helpful. The setting is light and comfortable. I walk out of an appointment with Aubra feeling better.

I am 48 years old and broke my back when I was 20. In the last 15 years, having too much time sitting has really shortened my soas muscle and made my hips very inflexible. I also injured my knee when I was 23 years old and am not able to place my weight evenly distributed between both legs when squatting down. Because of this, I have had growing difficulty with walking, sitting and squatting without a lot of effort and varying levels of pain when done. Following the first time Aubra worked on my soas and hip area, I went to the gym and attempted the leg press machine and couldn't believe, on my first rep, that I was able to smoothly push the weight evenly without the painful tightness in my hip socket all the way through the movement. I feel that Aubra is incredibly adept at her craft and has a higher sense of tuning into the needs of her clients when treating them.

Aubra is a miracle worker. I have struggled with daily headaches and chronic migraines for years. I could not find anything that helped until I went to her. She has reduced the number of migraines and headaches significantly. So amazing!

Aubra runs a great business, with a nice complement of services. She is passionate about her work and maintains a nice cozy, clean environment wherever she works (I've followed her as she's moved locations). Love her GM Collins facials (I'm very active outdoors, and her moisturizing facials undo a lot of the damage), and cranio-sacral massage (REALLY helps undo tight muscles from migraine and sinus issues). The M'Lis body wraps give me truly amazing results (I wouldn't have believed it before trying it)!

Nearly 15 years ago I found myself less able to walk and function, barely managing to safely step up and down street curbs and interfering with my ability to work. Aubra, massage therapist’s outstanding work rectified this. More recently after selling my business a few years ago, I was injured in a car accident and again was helped and healed and improved with massage by Aubra's advanced massage techniques. Currently at age 74, I am on a maintenance schedule with Aubra which helps to keep me functioning at my best. I also have enjoyed body wraps and facials, and also continue with a maintenance facial, which clearly makes a difference according to my friends and doctors who are surprised by my looks and how I use my body at my age. .

Pain Relief After 10 YEARS of seeking help! Aubra is the BEST and anyone who has worked with her will attest to this. I was living with severe pain resulting from a trauma beginning in 2007. I have spent more than $20,000 in seeking help over those 10 years with acupuncture, steroid shots, Osteopathic manipulation, Cranial Sacral, Feldenkrais, Rolfing, Acupuncture, Chinese herbs, physical therapy, etc, etc. I have traveled as far as Atlanta Georgia and Vancouver B.C. to work with innovative and 'top' people in pain relief.
