Charlee is the best!! I recently moved to Austin and found this salon and am so glad I did! I don’t dye my hair and need someone who is a cut specialist and finding that can be challenging, but charlee gave me one of the best haircuts I’ve ever had. She’s also so fun/awesome to talk to! Could not recommend her more :)

Sofia has been my hair stylist for several years now. She is expert at shaping my curls just right! She listens to what I want for my hair. The color she applies looks very natural and lasts a long time. Plus she is a pleasure to spend time with. I look forward to my time in the salon.

I happened by Method Hair while on other business. I glanced their way and immediately liked the setup. I entered and spoke with the saleswoman manning the desk. I explained my dilemma and she was incredibly helpful, the rest of the staff were helpful as well. I really felt a good vibe emanating from the place. I knew that, "The Fates" had led me to the right place. I scheduled an appointment for my daughter for the following day. My dilemma: My daughter just moved here from the UK. She hated her hair, and had never tried to do anything about it. Isabelle was annoyed that I had booked her the appointment. I had to use every trick in the book to convince her to go. My daughter now has a mile wide smile. She loves her hair, and is confident of being able to maintain the look. That's due to the simplistic instructions she received from her new stylist, Charlee. I am extremely happy that I chanced upon Method Hair. I will recommend them to everyone I know.

I’ve been coming to Method Hair for a while it’s a very welcoming modern space. The vibe is amazing and so is the staff. Charlie is amazing when it comes to my blowouts and root touch ups she always has me feeling and leaving like Ms. New, making the experience enjoyable and comfortable. Alejandra is also amazing and so sweet, she takes her time leaving my hair feeling beautifully after a blow out.

This is the second time I got my hair cut by Charlee. I came in with a bunch of random ideas and just knew I could trust her to do her magic. Which she did and oh so well, I loveee my hair and will be back real soon! The salon has a friendly staff, great products and convenient parking. Recommend!

Ayesha is AH-MAZING! I have curly hair (3A/3B) and it takes a certain expertise to understand the multiple types of curls as well as cut / style them appropriately. Ayesha is truly a professional when it comes to all things hair and especially curls. You will not regret your decision to make her your stylist!

Method took me in for a hair emergency after a stylist at another salon in town cut my hair completely crooked. Charlee was amazing and helped me gradually fix it so I didn’t have to chop my hair too short. She now is my go-to stylist! Method has such a cool vibe, great people and a very convenient location for anyone downtown. Highly recommend!

I suspect that for most stylists I’m a “nightmare” client- I have extremeeeeeeeely long, thick! textured hair. I’m used to a stylist AND assistant spending one hour tugging my head back and forth aggressively for a blow dry, and have never been particularly impressed by any haircuts I’ve received in Austin. However Josh completely wowed me! I have not stopped raving to friends about his technique- I left with the best cut I’ve had in years. Not only was my result amazing, but the way Josh tenderly spent time de tangling my hair before he blew it out himself was sooooooo the opposite of any experience I’ve had (and I’ve paid 300+ for a cut before) and very very appreciated! I’m really looking forward to my next cut :)

Ayesha Cobb is a gosh darn miracle worker. I came to her on recommendation of a friend after I absolutely FRIED my hair from a bad perm. She basically saved my hair from a pile of straw and helped it grow out as healthily as possible due to all the damage. Since then we've gone red, pink (color depositing shampoos), and then back to og blonde (highlights that were a whole transformation)! I feel like a diva every time I leave the salon. Ayesha takes her time and is so detail-oriented. Never had a better haircut/process in my life and worth every penny. The salon itself is also really cool and clean, the staff is friendly, and the coffee is good. But Ayesha is the hero of my hair saga! (The last 2 photos are my hair pre-Ayesha/perm damage and then what it looked like after seeing her twice)

My son suddenly got curly hair when he was 13 and we had no idea how to take care of it. We worked with Alejandra who was so sweet and amazing. They taught him multiple ways to take care of it. He left smiling. It was his first time liking his hair after getting it cut. We'll definitely be back.

My wife had a bad experience at Aveda Institute on her Birthday. I contacted Method Hair for a Balayage and was assigned to Josh for my wife Services. We definitely will continue to come back to this location and will continue to work with Josh as he to date is the best hairstylist that my wife has found. He was really courteous, professional, and knew exactly what she wanted and made it happen even after her hair was a complete mess from Aveda. Thank you Josh and thank you Method Hair.

Method’s staff are fun, kind, and inclusive and the salon has won Best of Austin multiple times. The Cult + King products they stock (which you can try there) are where it’s at for me. Online scheduling and street or garage parking (both free) just make it easy. Highest honors here. And on to Master Stylist Doug at Method. My (male) hair has rocked his impeccable cuts for 15+ years, and they grow out so well that I look stellar at all times b/w appointments. His coloring skills are next-level. He’s highlighted my hair and masked greys with a gloss, both very natural and subtle (so it didn’t look like I dyed my hair). Other stylists literally approach me to compliment my hair while moving about Austin. I don’t let anyone else style my hair.

Sofia did an awesome job at both listening to what I wanted and executing the perfect cut for me. She really took her time shaping my hair and now a month out, still looks SO good. I always let my hair air dry and now it looks like I got a blowout without even trying! This salon itself had cute oddities and great products. I absolutely recommend!
