Monica is a master of her craft! I brought my daughter in for a cut, wash, and style. Monica was so helpful and kind, listening to my daughter and what she was envisioning. The end product was exactly what she wanted and the beaming smile on my daughter's face said it all. Thank you Monica, we look forward to our next time we get to come see you!

A NO SHOW! No text, phone call, pigeon, nothing to let me know my appointment was delayed, postponed, canceled. Big disappointment!!!

Horrible customer service. Booked an appointment with her via Styleseat for my daughter on August 10th. At 8 am on August 11th the day of the appointment (which was scheduled for 1 pm) she cancelled and declined the service. That is her right, however, it's bad business to not message about why at the very least. I made the appointment for a reason so now I have to rush to find someone else to provide the service at the last minute. If she didn't want to provide the service she should have informed me of this or at least provided a reason. Response to comment below: The individual who sets up the account is in control of the hours of availability listed on there. On the app it states you are open from 1-5 on Sundays. The "app" doesn't control that. You do. Please go change your hours to reflect you are closed instead of open so no one can book an appointment and your problem is solved.

Norie is the hair whisperer...no lie. I found her by accident and called for an appointment. I left a message and she called me right back. I went in two days later for a relaxer, hair cut, style, etc. My hair was a hot mess when I went in and Norie transformed it. I don't know what she did, but she had my hair looking like a million dollars. Aside from her meticulous mastery of hair, she is such a calming person..warm, nice and just a kind spirit, and by the way her prices are really really reasonable. I am now a customer forever. I have had such a hard time finding a hair stylist who actually knows how to care for my hair. Monica was awesome and gave me a lot of helpful tips and product recommendations in caring for my hair at home. She did really great with the color and gave me a wash and hot oil treatment. I can’t wait to book my next appointment with her!

I highly recommend Meticulous Hair Salon. When I walked in, I was greeted and felt welcomed. My appointment was with Norie. As I waited for my appointment, the owner, Monica, took the initiative to oil my scalp. When it was time for Norie to start on my hair, she communicated with me and asked about my hair and my past experiences with my hair. I appreciated Norie asking me because some stylist just start working on your hair and they don’t know about your head sensitivity or your hair experiences. Norie explained what she was doing every time she touched my head and started a new process. Norie did an excellent job with my hair and even gave me a few tips that would help with my hairstyle. I scheduled my next appointment with Norie before I left. The ladies/stylist definitely work as a team and communicate effectively as a team, and with their customers. Again, I highly recommend Meticulous Hair Salon.

It was my first time at this salon, I’m really picky about who does my hair. The place looks really nice and clean and the staff was very friendly, I was nervous at first because I’ve had to take my hair down early due to being too tight and not overall satisfied. If I’m not mistaken the young lady doing my hair was getting tips and pointers from coworkers which was not a problem, but when she finished my hair it looked AMAZING it was a huge upgrade from the last two people doing it. Overall again I can’t say it enough my braids look AMAZING my wife complemented me about 5 times about how good they look and how the young lady did a good job. Whoever the young lady is that braided the tall guy’s hair PLEASE KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK. I will definitely be back again.

My hair appointment was at 10am and I wasn't in the chair until 3pm because she took a client that was supposedto be after me first because her style was "easier". I mentioned how I had somewhere to be multiple times and I missed my event, I found this very unprofessional. Update, as my friend took my hair down, there was a ponytail with a rubber band found for some reason, and she had thread through my baby hair. Honestly she clearly didn't know what she was doing , don't even go to her for weave.

Relocated from Houston to San Antonio and I was a little scared to change my stylist. So I kept driving back to Houston every two weeks until I tried Meticulous hair salon and Ms. Monica’s touch was nothing but the best. Since then I have been going to Ms. Monica and she does an amazing job with my hair. She is friendly and super courteous, and this goes without saying that I am a very satisfied customer!
