Devasalon?? Really? Who cuts curly hair stretching while it's wet? No discussion with the client whatsoever! Raquel did not follow the request. My hair was chopped off mercilessly! In Addition, my hair was treated with only a leave-in and hair gel which left it super dry after it was defused. Madness!!! It's really important, to be honest when a stylist doesn't know how to deal with curly hair. Please remove the sign Deva Salon coz it is absolutely not fitting!! I just went to this amazing salon and Raquel gave me the best blowout I've ever had, and my hair is so tough to deal with. My hair is so shiny and smooth, I will always always use her! She is the BEST! Thank you.

I was looking to get some layers done for the first time and was calling around town. Mi was the first place to accept my last minute appointment 20 minutes after I called. I simply showed her the picture of the layers I wanted and she did an absolutely INCREDIBLE job. The owner herself cut my hair, and she was so amazing and talented. My new go-to spot for sure! Highly recommend, this is my future spot! Thank you Mi Salon!

WOW! Raquel and Carmen are amazing. Visited from Orange County and a friend got me an appointment. I have really thick hair and haven't had a stylist since 2020. Raquel knows her stuff and took the time to not only fix my hair l,lbut styled it beautifully. I left feeling like a new woman. I'll be coming back to see her in three months. qßSp

I'm a 61 y.o. man who is fortunate to still have a thick head of hair and so had been growing it out for 6-9 months hoping I could find someone to do something with it. I was in town to spend some much needed quality time with my woman (long distance relationship right now) and decided it was time to see if I could find someone to do something remarkable with my 1970s looking Covid hair. I walked in to Raquel's salon on a whim and not only was I thankful my timing was perfect and she could take me, but I had the best experience of my life getting a hair cut! I know that sounds over the top, but it's the reason I'm making the effort to jot all this down. With very little discussion and her running her fingers through my hair, I was confident she somehow knew what to do when I didn't even know what I wanted. I think all I said was "Hey..if I was a movie star or other famous person I know somebody could do something special with this long mop of hair".. and she did. Not only that, but a scalp massage, shampoo and rinse massage were all included for $55! Really? in Santa Barbara? I went to look for the correct spelling of her name on the salon website and so came across her Bio. You should read it. It resonates perfectly with the experience I had there.

When I relocated to Santa Barbara, I tried three other salons before trying Mi Salon. I have curly hair that is turning from strawberry blonde to gray/white due to getting older. Since I'm not ready to rock all white hair at my current age, I opted to start dyeing it. I loved my hair stylist in San Diego but no one before Raquel, owner of Mi Salon, was able to replicate the color and quality that I expected from a stylist. Mi Salon also specializes in cutting and styling curly hair. I have been going to Mi Salon for about 4 years and will continue to do so as long as I'm living in the area. I highly recommend Mi Salon!

Terrible experience here. Avoid this salon and take your business elsewhere. I reported them to the Better Business Bureau of the Tri-Counties and I was informed that they have had multiple complaints. Very unprofessional. This is your warning.. but see below for many more. I was sitting at "their table" taking a video-on meeting (no signs on the table, public space, nothing) and they aggressively actually touched, moved, and dropped my backpack, even yelled at me with force. I have never seen a business operate with such haste. Unacceptable to touch someone else's things, let alone drop a backpack with a portable monitor in it. I can't imagine any business treating someone like this.

Horrible experience. Had Asked for a full length hair color. No suggestions/no recommendations given as promised on the website. Only colored the roots and said they were late for a wedding and gave excuses like the color will not look good and ended up charging the same amount. Did not give me any form of heads up. Very unprofessional.

I had long thin curly hair and wanted to cut it for more volume and definition. I searched for salons who had experience with curly hair and ran into "Mi Salon". When I went in for my appointment I had a couple of pictures of ideas that I thought I wanted. Raquel (the owner) who has "deva curl" training was super honest about my type of hair and pointed out that I did not have the type of hair the women in the pictures did. She suggested a certain length and layers that would work best for my hair. I decided to literally put my hair in her hands and trusted her! I absolutely love my haircut! She did exactly what I wanted which was volume and definition. My hair looks so much more thicker and healthy with my new cut! She also took the time to give me very useful styling tips for my hair.. I've gotten so many compliments. Needless to say, I am super happy with my end result. Searching for a curly hair expert? Search no more. Contact "Mi Salon".

I had a fantastic experience at Mi Salon after having a very poor experience at Supercuts. Raquel was a great listener as I explained what I wanted and had a wealth of knowledge to help me decide what cut would be best for me. The whole staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The scalp massage was the best I've had. Very pleased with my cut and will definitely go back for my next one.

This is the best salon in Santa Barbara; it's a hidden treasure. Both Raquel and Ellie are super-talented, and the atmosphere is so friendly. It's underpriced for what you get...it's ruined me for going anywhere else when I can't get an appt or am traveling!

Went to get hair cut and color , Both were done poorly !!!!! Cut was uneven and there still a lot !! Of Gray hair on top. The person that cut my hair Told me if u don’t like it you can come back and I Can fix i it , REALLY!!! Why Didn’t you Do it right to begin with!! ? Ur A professional Right!!.!!!So today. I went to fantastic Sam And the two lady there Were Shock and Laughing , About how terrible ! My hair look! Thank God she was able to work her magic , My hair is now very short ,! How ever it ‘s now even and better . Than You Fantastic Sam and Shame on you Mi Salon!
