On New Year’s Eve, I was looking for a place to wash and treat my hair. I was heading to the silk press upstairs but decided to stop by Mia Hair Care instead, and I'm so glad I did. When I arrived, the stylist was at the front desk and welcomed me warmly. Even though there were other clients present, she took the time to listen to my concerns and what I wanted to do with my hair. She assured me she could help and took me straight to the bowl to wash my hair. The way she treated my hair was amazing. She explained everything in detail and recommended a treatment that worked wonders for me. I loved the results! The atmosphere was also wonderful—soft music and a relaxing waterfall in the background created a peaceful environment that helped me unwind. She even offered me coffee, which was a nice touch. After washing, she went above and beyond with my hair—she did more than I expected, and I was so excited. I didn’t think she’d have time to do extra, but she took the time to make sure I was satisfied, which truly impressed me. Despite being busy with other clients, she handled everything smoothly, and all the clients seemed happy with their results. The experience was made even more special by the Champagne and food offered for New Year's Eve. I left feeling pampered and special. I’m so glad I found this place and finally have a hairstylist in Miami that I can trust. Mia Hair Care is hands down the best place for natural hair in the area, and I will definitely be coming back.

Great place to get your hair done. Mia is awesome, the atmosphere is pleasant, the service is great, her assistant did a great job. The only thing missing is a glass of wine!

If you’re looking for a professional hair salon, this is the place to go. Very fast and sufficient, I was comfortable and the prices are reasonable ! Customer service was a 10/10.

Found Mia online. I have natural 4-C hair and was recommended to have BoTox treatment and hair color for my grays. I wanted to wear my natural hair out, but needed a way to manage it. Best decision ever! Mia is a professional who is passionate about hair. She has an eye for detail. She’s attentive to what the client wants and promises to deliver. She doesn’t stack her clients and have you waiting forever. That’s worth 5 starts by itself!! Thank you Mia for a wonderful experience and my husband says I look like a million bucks!

Mia is a color expert for natural hair. I have super thick hair and she always can tame my mane. There is a nice ambiance in the salon with calm music and the place is always clean. She is very friendly.

To begin, If you have natural hair this salon is definitely for you!! Since starting my journey I was referred to MIa and I keep coming back. It is a shame when other black women try to tear black women business owners down. Especially women that have no license, but apparently know it all. I have known Mia for years now. She works hard and always connects with her clients. People need to have patience and appreciation for those who work hard and always think about how their words can impact someone and there life. You would hope Covid taught us the importance of quality of life. When I go to a professional like Mia for my hair care, I trust the work she does and it shows in her passion. It is frustrating when people get upset about trivial foolishness and want to build a list to try and criticize instead of speaking directly with the person they have an issue with much less they HAVE easy access to discuss with. We need to respect one another especially when we have issues with someone who gives us the opportunity to speak with them. Mia is always quick to assist a client especially if the client had an issue.Unlike a lot of these corporate business who don’t care about their “CUSTOMERS/CONSUMERS and hire unqualified employees to attend to them. Isn’t that the reason people go to small businesses, so they don’t feel like just a number. My favorite thing about this salon is the vibe, it is beautifully designed and very relaxing. The customers engage with one another which is rare in the world we live in. It has a great pace nothing feels rushed and you get the quality and time needed. Experience it for yourself. People like to mirror their miserableness unto others, and bring up foolishness to “justify” there point.

Mia definitely knows what she's doing. Great service and great ambiance. I have done many styles there from braids, full head sewing, in between weaves. People always think it is my real hair unless I tell them. I highly recommend anyone and everyone to go there and give her a try, you won't be disappointed.

Mia is magical. She makes me step outside my comfort zone and try new looks and gurl... she always has me looking good!!! She has cut, dyed, sewn weave, braided... She has done it all. I left my relaxer because I trusted her to keep me looking right! She's never let's me down. I come in looking frumpy but I leave like the diva I'm supposed to be!!!

As a mother of two, it is easy to forget to take care of yourself. I received Mia contacts in January from a co-worker and as someone who never goes to the hairdresser I found myself going there for the fourth time since. She is so great and her work is excellent. Customer service is always a big deal for me in the business industry. Well, at Mia Hair & Nail care that's all you're going to get. The place is clean, their prices are fair, the product that they use are great quality. The owner, which is Mia, always greet each and everyone clients with a warmth welcome. And not to forget they keep you very entertaining too. This is the only one beauty salon that I have ever been where I trusted them with my hair without no doubt.

Once you walk in the salon, you see smiles, hear laughter, celebrity gossip and so much more. Sometimes I would pass by just to chill and conversate with everyone. On top of that, I always leave with my hair looking so beautifully. From different colors to braids, to sew-ins to a big curly fro, Mia has made sure each hairstyle was LAID TO THE GODS. Of course I would recommend to my friends and if you’re reading this and you’re deciding on whether or not to come, you most definitely should because it will be worth it!

Was recommend those place by a total stranger I saw who’s hair was looking quite nice. I got a wash, deep condition, blow dry and trim and I feel like a new woman. My hair looks nice and polished. The only qualm was how long it took from beginning to end. Got there at 11:27am, my stylist started services at approximately 12pm and wasn’t done until 2ish :/ but aside from that, I was overall satisfied with how my hair came out.

I've been doing my hair at Mia Hair Care for more than 3 years and all I can say is that she's overall the best beautician I've ever been to. She does everything from natural hair to extensions, color and highlights, she does it all. If you're planning on coming here, you won't be wasting your time. I've been coming here for years; still a great experience every time I come. I never wait too long and prices are very reasonable! My hair is chemically treated(relaxed) and she does a great job managing it. She also works with natural hair too! I also get my sew-in done here. She can do just about anything.
