I walked in with a dry wash n’ go and walked out with a head full of juicy two stranded twists. They turned out amazing!! Mia was so kind to squeeze me in when another salon had to cancel on me last minute. She did excellent work, was quick and affordable. My hair turned out way better than imagined. It looks so healthy and moisturized and no gaps in the style! I WILL be going back. SO HAPPY to have found someone who is so comfortable with styling my long natural hair.

I was extremely pleased with Mia and her professionalism from my initial interaction with her to my final appointment. Her attitude and the atmosphere at her salon was extremely pleasant and so was her entire staff. I'm from Atlanta, working in Kentucky and I'm so glad I decided to utilize her for my haircare needs. Although I contacted her several times prior to my appointment, she never acted as if I was a nuisance, answering every time, and she went as far as to assist me every step of the way to ensure that I got the things necessary for the exact style I wanted, and she delivered with what I envisioned. I can't imagine using anyone else when I'm in KY. I wish her much success and hope that her business continues to prosper because she has an amazing soul!

Do not come here if you have natural hair. It was very clear after I told her I left twists in for 4 weeks (which is normal), she told me my hair would lock up ( which isn’t true I’ve done this for years). She was more concerned with clients behind me and doesn’t have any extensive knowledge on hair unless it’s fried with chemicals or bald. I went to a different salon SAME day and got what I needed. Save ur time and go somewhere else very unprofessional and judgemental. And the reply itself speaks, very childish. NEVER trust a bald hairstylist. Why would I come back to an appointment after it had already been scheduled, that makes no sense. Anyways my hair was detangled in 30 minutes by someone who actually knows how to handle hair. And anyone who knows about hair knows matted is spelled with two Ts stay broke and desperate❤️

I absolutely LOVE Mia’s Hair Salon. Mia is my stylist and has been for over 10 years and I’ve been natural the entire time. She is very experienced with ALL hair types. I look forward to my time there. The staff is so pleasant!

I have been going to Mia’s Salon (Kierra) for some years now & I am never disappointed. Everyone is very professional and very welcoming. Even when I moved to the DMV a couple years ago I made sure to come back to be styled whenever I was in town. Even now that I live over an hour away I still travel here to be serviced. I am very tender headed and Kierra is the only person that has ever did my hair without a tear. I highly recommend this salon to any and everyone. You will not be disappointed, promise!

My hair was in terrible shape. It had not been professionally done in several years (I have for the most part always taken care of my hair except for special occasions or when I was coloring or relaxing my hair, neither of which I do anymore). The length had grown out, but the ends (3 to 4 inches) had been damaged from the last time it was bleached, and there was still a remanent of coloring, so my hair was "two-toned" and not in a good way. Also, I lost quite a bit of hair volume in the past year from stress and illness. I had done the best I could, but it was in bad shape. I didn't have anyone familiar I could call so I did a Google search and found Mia's. When I called on a Saturday morning asking for an appointment in a black salon, I knew better. Right? But Terra answered the phone, asked me some quick questions about what I wanted done, and told me to come in that morning. Long story short, Terra works magic y'all! She got me in within 15 minutes of me sitting down. After some more detailed consultation, she had me wait for another 10 minutes to clear some customers and then she started to work. She pointed out some rough spots in the cut (yes,I'm ashamed to say I had recently taken to the scissors on my own because I was so frustrated with my hair) and condition of my hair, but then assured me she could handle it...And she certainly did! When she was finished cutting, washing, conditioning and then styling my hair, and I held up the mirror, I couldn’t believe my eyes. I looked amazing!!! My hair is soft and silky, and it swings!!! She got me together. She was patient and deliberate, but she worked quickly. I was surprised when I walked out of the salon in only two hours. She was friendly, she told me how to maintain my look and what products I needed to purchase at the beauty supply. I will definitely be back and I will absolutely recommend this salon, and especially Terra! I am a happy customer! And I look good!

Mia has always done great job on my hair. I dont trust anyone else. I have gone to her for a couple of things, big events (prom, my wedding day, vacations), and I have never been disappointed.

I was taken care of by Kiera, she was a lovely young lady. I got the rest of my relaxed hair cut off and wanted to get my hair cut evenly and a little shape up. I also wanted little twist. She cut me up badly on my ear and side of my neck, my hair is still uneven and she didn't have the products and correct comb to do the little twist. I had to leave out to the store for a sponge, she did teach me how to use it though... I wish I could say my experience was better.
