Absolutely love Maria and her staff! I had just left a previous hair salon that had messed up my hair and over charged me so badly that I was in complete disbelief after coming here for the first time how much better my hair looked and how much cheaper it was. Not only is this such a friendly atmosphere, but the women who work here are very compassionate about their job and make sure they are making their clients happy! So glad I found this place 🩷

My appointment was booked a week and a half before the event I was attending. Two days before, I received a text from the individual that was supposed to do my nails and hair saying she left the business for personal reasons and that I should call the salon because no one had booked my hair appointment. I reached out and they rescheduled me with a new stylist. On the day of when I arrived and was sat down she informed me that the cost wasn't going to be the estimated $20, but would be $75. This wasn't communicated to me before that moment so that i could have decided my options. I was discussing doing a wavy style or a simple braided updo. The stylist offered to meet me in the middle with pricing and I excepted. She was kind and gentle with my scalp sensitivity, but unfortunately the style ended looking nothing like what I had asked for. My wish was that if she didn't think she had the skill to do it or if my hair wasn't right for the style that she would have expressed this to me. I asked her to remove it and if she could flat iron it to fix it. In the end I wasn't asked to pay which I appreciate, but I was almost late to my event after this and having to get home to fix my hair. They were nice people but the whole experience was very stressful and added a stain to an important day. My rating is mainly for the lack of reliability and communication.

Hailey and Maria from Mia-tress came to the rescue when my son had a back to school haircut gone bad. They worked together meticulously to give my son a style he could feel confident about. These ladies are extremely professional and talented. I can’t thank them enough for being so kind and accommodating.

I spent a ton of money only to get the hair the wrong color from what I had picked! She died it to match and I specifically told her I didn’t want to have to color it just buy the hair that is already colored! The beads she used turned silver as she did not use new ones to move them up. Installation was all wrong and not seamless as I had asked. Would not recommend.

Maria and her staff have been AMAZING over the last serval years. I personally have had a bad experience with another salon and Maria fixed it! Not to mention fixing the mess up on my sons hair. I will completely recommend Maria and any of her staff to anyone. They truly care about you as a person and your hair care needs. Our family will be life long customers.

She is rude, unprofessional and very unpleasant. She will make you feel like your walking on egg shells and your now allowed to ask questions or she will attack you for it. 2 months ago she literally attacked me and made me cry while my head was still in a shampoo bowl for asking her questions about hair earlier and I was very polite and respectful to her always. Then she sold me over processed hair extensions that didnt last more than a month, then I got a replacement that was still over processed and didn’t last longer than a week. Then I put down a payment for another hair extensions 3 months later. Since I asked her the difference between hair extensions 2 weeks ago and because I just rescheduled my appointment to earlier day , she said her anxiety went up to a 100 and she is letting me go 2 days after she just rescheduled my appointment to earlier date. Even though she told me I can let her know if I need to come in earlier than 6 weeks. So I let her know my extensions slid down really bad on left side and roots grown out and my boyfriend’s birthday is before my next appointment that is why I asked her if she could see me earlier. I always been so nice to her and because of this she canceled my appointment right before I was suppose to be seen. Knowing urgency how bad I needed to get my hair fixed right now, she wrote me a text saying she is refunding my deposit and canceling my appointment. Out of the blue! So unprofessional and mean! Why wouldn’t I ask questions for something I’m paying a lot of money for, especially when I just wasted around 1,000 dollar for bad over processed hair extensions. I would never treat my clients this way and make them feel like they are not allowed to ask questions. She automatically would start accusing me of not trusting her. Even when over a a year ago I came to my first appointment to get my hair done for my birthday and drove to her for over an hour from Dallas to just come to find out my appointment was canceled due to her husband emergency and I still was very understanding and I was very nice to her just asked her what hair dye I should buy so I can dye my own roots and then asked her to just let me know later how he is doing if she is able to book me for New Year’s Eve atleast , and I I told her if not I understand and I’ll just wait for her. Then she got me in for new years because her husband was doing fine. Always been so polite to her . But she just continued being rude to me for no reason. Also kept lying about me to my friend that I referred to her and to my friend that does my lash extensions that referred me to her. Then she wants to tell me our personalities just do not mesh. Maybe they meshed better if I was rude to her like she always been to me. How many chances I gave her to fix my hair after she sent me home with my hair looking bad. And I was still so nice to her about it. Just asked her nicely to fix it .

Maria is a miracle worker! I lost a lot of hair after having covid two years ago. After a consultation with Maria, I decided to get extensions. Having the extra thickness and length has made me feel like myself again! She also does a great job with highlights and color. Both of my daughters and I see Maria for all of our hair services.
