I went to Michelle today for the very first time. Let me say, she did not disappoint. She will be the braider I go to moving forward. I love it. I got the soft Marley hair and it is lovely. Michelle does not braid tight AT ALL! If you are looking for someone in the Raleigh/ Durham area she is your person. U will love her❤️

Michelle is professional, sweet and very personable. She braided my hair in a beautiful style that took a bit shorter time than planned! She is fast and efficient. I am very satisfied with my hair and my scalp is nowhere near as sore as it usually is the day after getting Fulani braids. Thank you Michelle, I will be returning 😊

I called to schedule to get my braids done in specific style while I was traveling. (Feed Cornrows into loose sengelese lemonade braids to the side) I had the style I had done last year with another braider in Alaska, where they charge a bit more, but not much and I had paid $180. I was asked to send a picture. I told her I would like to get them done either at 5pm Friday or Saturday about 2pm. She replied $250 and Saturday at 6am. First she didnt pay attention to my availability then attempted to overcharge me excessively. I replied thanks for the quote and I will shop around. Left a bad impression.

I have been back to Michelle twice and love the quality of her work and her friendly conversation! I especially love how she moisturizes your scalp when braiding....I've gotten some braids done elsewhere in the past where my scalp felt extra dry right after getting braids😔

Awesome experience! She's actually braiding in a shed behind her home which is not a problem for me. The space is clean and neat. Michelle was very pleasant and professional. She works fast, but pays attention to detail to ensure you are satisfied. I loved the experience and I love my hair!! Thank you Michelle!!

What can I say...Michelle is truly a blessing! She did both me and my daughters hair today and I couldn’t be more happier. She is down to earth, patient, highly knowledgeable and just good at anything she does. Her shop is warm and cozy too. First time going to this shop. Michelle was absolutely awesome. Her salon was super clean. Did an exceptional job on my braids. She was also very nice. Such a pleasant experience I hadn't even realized time flew by so fast. Definitely will go back.
