Great stylist and wonderful experience. I recommend her especially because she is great at interpreting and understanding what kind of cut you want even if you don’t use “hair words” and translating that into an awesome cut.

TLDR: 5 stars for quality and price. I've seen Michelle 3 times now and every time I've come home, my husband has been like, "Wow, she does great work." I agree. I have a short curly pixie that I'm pretty particular about. The way it's cut really makes the difference between looking feminine or like a young male pop star (think the Biebs haha). She has nailed it each time, and after being new to Lynchburg and several months of searching, I'm so happy to find someone who does this level of work at an affordable price.

Interesting that Michelle has "10 years experience" but reviews going back only a couple of years. That is because the numerous brides who have gone after her for basically ripping them off via the wedding budget get deleted, and a new profile is created by Michelle. We, for example, lost thousands of dollars. FACT: Michelle has gotten alarming reviews for her handling of big events. Then, she suddenly has a new profile, name, webpage. More to come from me and others, but do NOT trust Michelle for your special day or any special event. BEYOND a nightmare. Yeah, can she cut your hair and throw dye on it. Sure. But wouldn't you rather support someone who does not have a history of hurting people financially? Isn't there someone else out there equally deserving of your business? Again, ask yourself: if she has a decade's worth of experience, why are her reviews only two years old? Signed, someone who lost thousands of dollars. Just remember: this is the most special day of your life. Would you really trust it to someone who has virtually no reviews for her decade long history of "handling weddings." She caused problem for our very special time, for a family, for our finances. Nightmare. Someone else is just as deseving of your business; please don't take a chance with your special day.

Had a fantastic experience! Three great haircuts (two kids, one woman) in under an hour. Was very pleased with the results and the courtesy and friendliness of the staff and the puppy 😍 Will definitely be booking with Michelle Ramsey again in the future!

I feel like I'm at home in this salon! I love that my stylish, Michelle, give me options. She definitely has never pressed her opinion on me when it comes to my hair. They've always been very flexible with my busy schedule and very accommodating. By far the best salon experience I've had!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this salon, the atmosphere, the artists, and the location. These women are skilled as hell. They are a step above the rest. This is like a second home, at least it feels that way. I cannot ain’t the praises and Michelle and her team enough! You are really cheating yourself if you aren’t checking this place out.

Michelle is such a fun person to work with! She was always professional, kind, and willing to accommodate my wants/needs as we tried to find a bridal style that worked for my specific hair type. While it was a bit of a process, we eventually found something that I was happy with, and Michelle was nothing but understanding and helpful along the way! The stylists who came with Michelle on my wedding day were all very kind and professional, but were also very personable and fun! I was grateful to be surrounded by such understanding and kindhearted people on such a big day. My only note would be that their office’s communication could be a bit more organized – I sent an email to Michelle with some notes after our first bridal trial but received a response from someone else, (someone I’d never met and who didn’t really address the concerns in my email), and I learned a while afterwards that Michelle had never even been shown the email I sent to her. I was also later contacted to send them payments that I had already sent, but they quickly realized their error and apologized. Having worked in an office setting, I completely understand how those kinds of things can get mixed up sometimes. I also understand that they have been in the process of moving to a bigger building (yay!), which can easily cause some system errors/confusion between coworkers and pending tasks. Overall, I very much enjoyed my experience with Coiffeur Collective and plan to go back to Michelle after the wedding to get my hair cut/colored!

Sweetest hair salon ever!!!! Walked in and immediately felt at home. Michelle Ramsey did an AMAZING job with my cut and Eva colored my hair to perfection! Not to mention they are kind and hilarious! I will be back for all my hair needs. 💜
