Why are there only 5 stars? I want to give this place ten!!!.. I feel blessed to have found such a dynamic duo.... Michelle and Jasmin work really well together and create a great energy in the boutique... Since I've been going to MHCB, not a day goes by where someone stops me to compliment my hair.. Strangers, Patients, (sometimes strangers try to touch it without asking.. yes i know "creepy") Even my sister's family had changed a conversation at dinner to ask about my hair... We are using the same color that I've been using for the past 15 years (in other salons) ... But Michelle adds her magic, I don't know what it is.. My hair is longer and healthier than it's ever been, even as a teenager it would not get this long.. When I want bangs or to get a trim, Michelle discourages me and asks me to think about it for a week and come back, when i'm sure... And surely she is so right... I am enjoying watching it grow grow grow.. My friend found this place on groupon... My friend has very difficult hair and I was in awe of the job that Michelle did on it... That is how I found Michelle... I'm really lucky to have found this place... And the ambiance is just what I need while living in a noisy busy city... It's quiet and boho chic... Everything is perfect at Michelle's HC Boutique <3

I was going to a wedding and I needed to get my hair done. Michelle washed, blow dried, and curled my hair and it looked so stunning. She was so kind and did such a fabulous job doing my hair and i received so many compliments throughout the night. I highly recommend it.

I went to Michelle's 10 minutes earlier than my scheduled appointment when she was finishing up with another customer and Michelle took me right away. Within an hour and a half Michelle was able to give me exactly what i wanted. She gave me a beautiful chocolate brown color with golden highlights. Michelle and the staff were very friendly and considerate. To finish she blew dry my hair leaving me with gorgeous natural waves at the bottom. I am very pleased with the way my color and hair turned out. I will definitely be returning to this salon! I highly recommend Michelle's salon.

Thank you guys for a beautiful service. I came in and showed Michelle pictures of what I wanted my hair to look like, and she exceeded my expectations. I had natural brown hair before I came to Michelles and I wanted to add  Blonde highlights. The salon was very cheerful, by the time Michelle highlighted, cut and blow-dried my hair, it felt as if I had been at the salon for  less than an hour. Michelle gave me personal attention, as we talked time flew by. My color is beautiful and everything I wanted plus more. I will be back!

You have lost a costumer!!!! Never coming back!!!! Ian the hair stylist did a sloppy job dying and cutting my hair. If you look at the last photo compare the others he did not follow through with the hair color. He didn't prep my hair before dying and he didn't remove the excess hair dye that he left on my face, neck, and ears. When I got home I had to scrub all that excess hair dye from my Face, neck and ears. That was not enjoyable in fact it hurt very much, did I mention that my prom is tomorrow and my hair looks awful. Furthermore, he charged me way to much for a crappy job. I don't care if it's your top of the line hair product!!!! He did not do a professional job!!!!! I'm so upset. I will never recommend anyone to your salon. NEVER!!!!!!!!!!

After moving to NYC, I was overwhelmed with the amount of choices for salons in the area. I seriously thought I was going to have to fork over a good chunk of change to get a simple cut but I was wrong! I found Michelle's. She was timely, efficient, and very polite. Most importantly though, I got a great haircut! All of this for a fantastic deal. Will be coming back soon! Highly recommend!

Amazing!!! My wife and I came to NYC for our anniversary and I had her get her hair done for dinner here. I also had my haircut and shave done here by Orlando and all I can say is that I have never been treated so well nor been pampered by anyone doing my hair. REAL professionals and they have a level of attention to detail that everyone should experience! A must go!!!

Went to Michelle the other day and am so happy with my hair! I had previously lightened my hair to a blondish ombre, but I thought it was too dark and brassy. Michelle was careful to ask me exactly what I wanted, which I thought was nice because most other place you get the feeling they aren't listening to you and will do what they feel is best anyway. So it was great to talk details with Michelle! She lightened my hair to a great, natural shade of blonde, which I love. I was a little worried that it would come out uneven, since the new blonde shade was bound to get onto the brown a bit, but it blended perfectly and looks exactly how I wanted it! Will definitely be going back. Thanks Michelle!

I have been going to Michelle for over a year and a half. Her coloring technique is perfect EVERY time. I have never been disappointed. I see her every 5 weeks for touch up and/or highlights and she always gets my hair looking the way I want it! She understands exactly what look I want and manages to achieve it. I can honestly say I am always getting compliments on how great my hair looks, and that is all thanks to Michelle!
