I REALLY look forward to my color treatment maintenance appointments-such a clean and relaxing environment! Rebeca is a color expert; my purple and blue colors are ALWAYS vibrant. If you like sparkles, try adding tinsel extensions! Dimi is always quick to lend a helping hand with services, very focused and thorough! This salon is top-notch. They offer all the modern trends and are certified in the latest techniques. I’m always offered something new each visit! Midtown is a licensed Euphora retailer, and they offer the BEST color lock I’ve experienced over 24 years! I am no stranger to bold colors, been using them since Y2K…stop in and see them sometime!

Midtown is the only place in PA I’ll get my hair done . Rebecca is amazing. She did a color correction an a full tie in extension for me . The color blended so well and the end result was everything I wished it to be . Thank you so much . My hair dreams came true!

My first experience with Rebecca was last year three days before Thanksgiving. Due to a scheduling error, I wasn't made aware that my appointment was cancelled. Imagine my horror when I arrived 3 days before the start of the holidays desperate for a cut and color and my stylist had called out. Rebecca was gracious enough to fit me in between an already full schedule of her own clients. I left the salon with one of the best salon experiences I've had in years. Since then, she has worked with me to transition to a new hair color (which I love) and her precision cuts never disappoint. New appointments book far out in advance but it's well worth the wait.

Refused to cut my daughter's hair because we have to wear masks due to her getting very ill in the past from covid Didn't even ask why we were wearing them! So ridiculous

New to the York area, and after a couple trial and errors elsewhere, decided to try Midtown. I found out that the online reviews I had read are spot-on. After a thorough consultation where she asked questions and listened to my answers and preferences, Rebecca did a fantastic job with the cut and color. I've found my new place!!

I am a SAHM who NEVER gets any time to myself, so when I suddenly found myself about to have a kid free day I wanted to treat myself to a long overdue haircut! My have been having major postpartum hair loss after my 3rd baby and regrowth has somewhat begun but I needed a fresh start for it to grow back and look thick and full again. I was referred to Sophia @ Midtown by someone in a local mom group on Facebook after posting for a suggestion and getting lots of other recommendations as well but Midtown’s website, Sophia’s Bio & her Instagram is what sold me. I called the salon and asked if Sophia would have any last minute openings and by some miracle she had an opening for a haircut. The front desk was professional, kind, patient and understanding on the phone. When I got to the salon I was given a paper to fill out so that Sophia had some information about myself to better serve my needs and wants & then I was given a tour of the salon which is small & cozy - just the right feel for me! They have the shampoo bowls with the headrests so your head is not uncomfortably hanging, I have a very long neck and it always hurts so that was lovely! Sophia did exactly what I had asked, took her time, asked me to check and see if I wanted anything changed or tweaked, made the adjustments I wanted (I'm a former hairstylist so I tend to be incredibly picky) TWICE with wonderful understanding and patience and she truly just wanted to make sure I was happy with her work! My hair is stick straight, you can see every line & every flaw so it can be complicated, I know I made her go over her scheduled time for me but she didn’t rush or panic. She had dry cut my hair to begin with, which was another very smart call on her part, so when she was finished she asked a coworker to shampoo me and blowdry while she put color on her next client (which she made sure I was ok with and I didn’t mind at all) and then in perfect time came over to double check everything was fine, made another adjustment for me after it was styled and off I went! Checkout was wonderful. They had the suggested products all upfront for me but they were not pushy about them AT ALL! I did buy one thing , the stying cream, because the product line that they carry seems pretty amazing and I think I’ll buy one thing at a time as I go back and try it all out because I will DEFINITELY BE COMING BACK! My favorite thing about checkout is that they have a separate computer system setup that is linked to each individual employee’s Venmo so that you can tip them directly into their bank accounts and not even have to worry about cash or credit card charges they’ll have to pay on the other end!! FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE! Thank you ladies! ***Also, always bring your stylist a Starbucks or Dunkin drink before you come in (wink/kiss)

I have had two visits with Midtown so far. The first was a big step for me, I had not colored or done anything to my hair in 10+ years. They sat down and consulted with me, asked me questions about what I want and what I was looking for. The experience was 1000/10. A day or so later as I was feeling not quite satisfied with my end result. I do not think this was ANY fault of theirs, I quite possibly did not execute what I was looking for properly, especially with my nerves! I wanted PINK hair, and I got some but not a lot and it wasn't very noticeable. I think maybe sometimes it is easier to go light and add more later, than to go ALL OUT because you can't really take it back after that. I reached out to them and let them know how I was feeling and they were MORE THAN WILLING to get me back in. Since I was a touch up and worked in I had 3 different stylists working on me/with me that day. They were ALL wonderful. Teamwork makes the dream work, this pink dream! :) I left there feeling better about my PINK hair and even more satisfied with the Midtown TEAM. I appreciate all of you, I appreciate your time and dedication. I will be back FOR MORE PINK :) (PS get these girls some coffee or something. They work hard!)

Stylist talked to me about what I wanted...third visit...first 2 went ok, a layered cut with shorter bangs, shoulder length but long enough in the back for a ponytail. Layered the back that is choppy and too short for a ponytail and bangs are still as long as when I arrived. My haircut is the total opposite of what I asked.The stylist Amber, that did a great job(saw her 3 times)is no longer there and I tried a new stylist (Erin)(3rd try) I will not be back!!! I originally gave Midtown Hair Company a 1 star review as a result of the previous issues. HOWEVER, I have changed my opinion to 5 star in response to the following: * My less than stellar experience was addressed only hours after my original review, in hopes to correct the situation. * Both the Client Services Rep and Rebecca, the owner, reached out, both by phone and email to offer solutions, at my convenience and no cost to me. *I was quickly scheduled at MY convenience, that also happened to be on a day that Midtown Hair Company is not open. * I was greeted warmly by the stylist and shown to a chair to discuss the correction and my expectations. * The stylist listened carefully and echoed what I had said. The stylist walked me through each step as she cut and styled my hair. *Although it will take time for the length to grow back, the stylist corrected the other issues and I am extremely pleased with the results. * Midtown Hair Company truly cares about your happiness/satisfaction of the services they provide. And if you are not satisfied, they are dedicated to making it right! * I will definitely be back.

Best in the business. Great environment. Friendly staff. I used to go to a barber downtown for my “Macklemore” haircut. I wanted to get out of the faded sides and get a different look. I trusted the team at Midtown and have never looked back. Great for men’s cuts.

I have been going to Midtown since 2017 and I have never had a service or cut I didn’t love when I left. They truly listen to their clients and do amazing work. I was so blessed to be able to get my hair and my bridesmaids hair done by them for my wedding this year.

I have been going to midtown since 2017. The owner, Rebecca remains my favorite hair stylist ever. Midtown has a welcoming feel and I always leave feeling pampered, heard, and my hair cut and color is always beyond what I had hoped/imagined. Midtown and Rebecca's passion for what they do is obvious. I would recommend Midtown to anyone (hence why I'm sharing a review on here)!

Owner is awful. Too many horrible experiences with her. Rebecca was very disrespectful and was awful to me and my son. While there, owner was degrading and disrespectful to employees. Don’t like to see employees being disrespected. Their hairdresser Briana was so kind and sweet. Did exactly what I wanted and was so patient and kind!

Rebecca is an amazing owner and stylist. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my hair ( as a former cosmetologist that no longer does hair , I can be picky) . She’s very professional and goes above and beyond to make the salon atmosphere feel like home, always very welcoming and kind. turnover rate here is atrocious, i've seen too many amazing hair stylists come & go. cant find another salon owner who seems to treats their employees that bad. i would rather go somewhere the stylists are appreciated & respected. this was indeed posted 24 hrs after an employee was terminated. Rebecca yelled & cussed in her face because said employee expressed she wasnt feeling everything was going well. Nor was any employee provided with the weekly education they were contractually promised for the last at least month or two! textbook bad business owner on a power trip
