I recently received one of the best massages I've had in a very long time from Amy at Milk and Honey at Arboretum. She listened to all my instructions regarding my issues and sensitive areas and was incredibly attentive and sweet throughout the session. Her experience and careful approach made a noticeable difference, and I left feeling completely relaxed and well taken care of. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a skilled masseuse who truly listens to your needs.

Milk and Honey Spa Arboretum is a beautiful facility and offers many services, and a lovely Lounge in which to wait to be called by your technician, while you sip the offered cucumber water and lounge in comfort. I opted for the One hour Swedish relaxation massage and added on an additional head massage with oil - oh, so wonderful! Steven did an exceptional job and I will certainly return! I can’t say I am a fan of the “dry pedicure”, but that is a personal opinion relating to the atmosphere (no water, surprisingly uncomfortable chairs, loud music, and setup affecting the comfort and relaxation of that one room), but Srnja, the technician, was very competent so I am not removing a star because this is a personal reaction in an otherwise exceptional facility which others may find to their taste. Parking and location is very nice, and easy!

I went with my daughter a month or so ago and we both got the hot stone massages. My daughter said hers was amazing but sadly mine was honestly not. I was not a fan of the stones and abandoned them altogether early on. The opening in the table where you put your face was very uncomfortable like it wasn’t wide enough and was causing pain in my face. I have a tiny face and head so I’m not sure why this would be but I was very uncomfortable. Maybe it was simply too close to the table as I’ve never had that issue previously, usually your entire face fits into the opening comfortably, but alas. The only part of the massage that felt good and not simply like rubbing oil all around, was my feet. I’ve never had a massage I would classify as “meh” until now. Next time, I’ll choose someone else most likely. I left not feeling much different then when I arrived which is unfortunate because the service prices are on the higher end. 🤷‍♀️

I'm writing this review to share my experience with stylist Nadia. While the salon location and most of the staff are great, my interaction with Nadia was unfortunately negative. In a highly competitive hair salon market, excellent customer service is crucial. My experience with Nadia, however, fell short of expectations. I prefer a quiet and concise salon experience, and I'm not sure if this bothered Nadia. I showed her a picture of the desired haircut (a trim) and politely requested a side part, as she initially began cutting with a center part. However, Nadia seemed to become distant and dismissive. I felt uncomfortable and even questioned if there were underlying issues contributing to her coldness. Ultimately, the haircut itself was minimal, and her dismissive attitude at the end of the service was particularly disappointing. She abruptly declared that I was "done," which came across as incredibly rude and even hostile. Austin is generally known for its inclusivity and welcoming atmosphere. Unfortunately, experiences like this, where dismissive and potentially racially-motivated behavior is encountered, stand out significantly. This negative experience has unfortunately deterred me from using their services again.

1st time at this place. I’m very mixed. On the plus side, the person who took care of me, Humberto, was really kind and gentle. The place is also very nice and clean. Negative points: one person at reception was not very friendly, he was rather rushed, as was the 2nd person who came to get me in the checkroom to rush me when I was looking for an empty locker for my things. Not friendly either. But above all I came for a 20 lash application at $75.... The eyelashes started to fall out the next morning, not even 24 hours later, even though I didn't touch them or get them wet, etc. I was really disappointed. I could have gone back to tell them, but I've already lost $75 and I didn't want to waste any more of my time. So I won't come back.

Janet was fantastic! Knew her products, did what I asked her to do and had amazing hands for the massage. I'll be back to see her when I visit Austin again. Ask for Janet for expert care! The waiting area was also gorgeous, soothing and beautiful.

To be completely honest, the first time I went, I wasn’t wow-ed. It seemed overpriced for the whole experience. But when I got gifted another gift card, I found myself here again and my perspective totally changed. Amy is an excellent Masseuse! I would HIGHLY suggest going to her. 4 stars because it’s an average of both experiences

Came to get just a color removed at 9:08. The hours say until 10pm. Was turned away stating their nail tech just left. Drove this way with the hours posted. Really discouraged. I do not recommend unless you have an appt.

Don’t buy products here, they’re expired and could ruin the facial you just received - oh and they won’t refund the product or validate that it’s defective even if you put the product on at the store and show them what it does to your skin. They lost a customer after spending almost $500 there for the day. The massage and facial were amazing though. Make sure you see Quaranto, such a sweet soul who gives the best facials and David who does incredible body work. They’re out of this world. ✨

Got a haircut there recently. Not really sure what happened - I think the stylist was talking about layers when I was pointing to and talking about face framing. All I know now is I don’t want to go out in public with my hair looking like a chunky mess. She was very nice and I hate to complain about her performance but 1) she should make sure her client and her are talking about the same thing and 2) improve her ability to do layers (if that’s what her client actually wants). My hair looks weird in a updo even because it’s so uneven and awkward now. I have no where to hide and will have to accept looking haphazard and feeling insecure for the next couple of months. I want to cry and hide in my house. I spent about $200 in products that might speed up the growing/evening process and will have to budget additional monthly cuts to get it even.
