Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with my haircut at Milk & Honey and will not go back. My hair is salt and pepper and curly. Jackie cut it dry and simply rearranged my hair. It wasn't washed and styled after the cut.

Bridget did my hair and I am obsessed!! She listened to me carefully and asked clarifying questions. As she did the cut she would stop to ask if I liked it or wanted to change/add anything. I think that communication in the chair is so important! I am Sicilian so my hair texture can be a bit overwhelming. It is A LOT of thick hair. But she killed it! I asked for shorter/ a lot of layers. I like them to be “choppy” and give a messy look/not like my hair was just cut. I’m so happy and my hair feels so much lighter! Plus she was a joy! I’m normally more shy in the chair but she was so easy to talk/laugh with.

Bridget has done my hair a few times and she gets it right every time she always captures exactly what i want and i leave happy everytime. Sarah did my boyfriend’s hair and did a phenomenal job! it’s exactly what he asked for and it suits his face very well. Milk and Honey as a whole is an amazing salon with very nice people and amazing service.

I have loved everyone at Milk & Honey! They are all so sweet and pay close attention to what you like and need. Sarah has done my shampoo/cut/style during my past few visits and she has been fantastic!

Not sure what is going on, but over the last several months the stylists are all different, the front desk is different, the prices have increased, but yet the feel of the place is not the same. Maybe the business has been sold or there is new management? Anyway, my service was just ok, nothing special. But I won't be going back. EDIT: Okay, so now we telling stories. No price increase in over 2 years? Messy, messy, messy. tsk tsk tsk

Love my hair! I’ve been going to Laney for over a year and I’ve had her change my hair cut, color, and style every other appointment and I’m always impressed❤️ You can tell everyone in salon stays up to date with all the current styles and trends so that’s a sign of a good salon and if I have ever had to reschedule, they were always very accommodating. This is an excellent salon and I will go no where else.

One of the nicest hair salons in Lexington! I love there Aveda hair products and have been going to my hairdresser Laney forever ! All of the hair dressers in there are great ! It is a beautiful salon and they treat you so special !

An absolutely wonderful salon with the sweetest stylists and receptionists. I started going there this past June and have not looked back since. On my most recent visit, I was paired with the stylist Caroline Keeney who was able to make my hair look the best it ever has. The stylists there always have a solution for any problem you run into with your hair, and will have it fixed within the same appointment...and of course there are complementary drinks which are always nice :)

Caroline did such an amazing job on my hair. She always knows exactly what to do when I tell her what I want done. She makes great suggestions with style, color and what products I need to use when I leave the salon! Book with her now if would want to look and feel pretty 🥰

Everybody was so sweet from the front desk lady to the hair stylists and made me feel so welcome! Caroline was so gentle with my hair since I have a sensitive scalp and did an amazing job with my hair! I would recommend her and this salon to everybody!!

Have been trusting Laney with my hair for umpteen years. She always takes care to listen and then works to make it happen. I always walk out feeling better than when I went in. And the massage chairs are also pretty awesome!

I have been a client of Laney for almost 20years and have been at Milk and Honey with her since they opened. I love the style and look of the new salon. It’s always clean and all of the employees are very kind and helpful. I would recommend anyone to try out one of the stylist at M&H. They are all top notch and helpful with making hair decisions.

I have very fine and thin hair which makes me extremely anxious when I get my hair cut. Laney was absolutely wonderful! I had a great experience and I truly appreciate her taking the time to help me. I would absolutely recommend her for girls who don't quite know what to do with their fine hair.

Milk & Honey Fine Salon was an excellent experience. My stylist Caroline helped me feel comfortable and assured all through my consultation! She is so talented and I always leave feeling so beautiful and confident! I have Curley hair and other stylist typically cut it too short for my taste, but Caroline never fails to accommodate and work with my curls with ease and skill. The salon is clean and cute, a great time!

RESPONSE: Like I said, I understand that things happen. A phone call would have been nice and more personable as some clients do not sit on their social media to find out their stylist has moved and emails get lost in the shuffle. I appreciate the response but I would look at this as a way to improve on business/client relationships. UPDATE: my first review still stands, however, they moved my appointment without my knowledge and put me with a different stylist. When I called to ask why I wasn't with Nikki, they said she no longer worked at the salon and denied moving my appointment even though I have a confirmation in my email. While I understand things happen, it would be best to inform the client that is about to spend $400+ on their hair. I canceled my appt and I won’t be returning due to lack of trust. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I had my first appointment with this salon today and had a lovely experience with Nikki. She gave me the best haircut I’ve ever had and listened to exactly what I wanted. Not only is she great at what she does but she is super personable and easy to talk to. I highly recommend this salon & can’t wait to come back for my balayage appt :)

Went in to get a haircut and really only wanted a trim. Caroline did a fabulous job and actually persuaded to trim a little bit more than I wanted and I loved it. I would definitely recommend and I will definitely be back!
