My daughters and I booked appts for a girls’ weekend in December. The spa is beautiful and relaxing with plenty of amenities that you would expect from a high end spa. I treated myself to the ultimate massage with Tameika. She was literally PERFECT for me. Listened well to my wants and delivered on all of them. Plus she was just so kind. Felt like an old friend. I will definitely visit again when I’m in Chicago. 💕

I made an appointment last week for an hour session of deep Tissue Massage w Chris. I was apprehensive at first, expecting a deep massage to be a bit painful. Chris asked me what my problem areas were and explained in detail the massage techniques he thought would be most helpful. I left feeling relaxed and most importantly not in any pain. My girlfriends and I booked last minute appointments for massages during a girls getaway to Chicago. They were able to accommodate all four of us! The staff were all extremely professional, the space was extremely clean and relaxing environment, and we all loved our services (cocoon, signature massage, hot stone massage, and deep tissue massage). One friend even said she was pain free from a hip that had been bothering her for months. Would HIGHLY recommend, and I hope to be able to go back soon!

I got the BEST hydrafacial + lymphatic drainage from Jade. I went in for a different facial but after discussing my problem areas we decided a hydrafacial was the best fit for what I was looking for that day. I had sworn off hydrafacial after getting a couple not so good ones this year and Jade brought me back to them. Super amazing job, and a wonderful experience. So so happy :)

I usually go to milk + honey for their massages but I decided to try out the nail services. Queen did my nails and I absolutely love them! She curated a very calming and relaxing environment. I had a tailored hand massage and scrub, which I will definitely be back for! She also has a great attention to detail when it comes to cuticle work.

Treated myself to a birthday massage in October of this year. I wanted to visit a new spa so figured Id try Milk +Honey. Everyone appeared friendly. The massage was decent. My problem started when I accidently left my necklace in the robe. I realized I left it maybe 20 minutes after my appointment. I called the facility immediately and of course the receptionist said that she'd have someone look for it. As expected, I heard nothing. I was the first customer that day at the spa and my robe was the only robe in the used hamper bin. I called 4 times that day with no updates. The next day I also called. I'm almost positive no one even bothered to look. So unprofessional and inconsiderate especially when I lost something that was very important to me.

I booked a 75 minute prenatal massage and cannot rave enough about how amazing Tameka was! From the beginning, she made me feel so comfortable and relaxed. Her touch was exactly what I was looking for and she really took time to listen to my pain points (while being pregnant) and she really really has the magical touch. I left feeling like a new person when I was done and couldn’t believe how fast the time went by. Thank you so much Tameka! You’re a magical human with the best hands in all of Chicago!

I can not wait to come back! I came in back in July because I felt like I really need some relaxation time since I was about to go back to school and have a hectic schedule. I was recommended to come through by Serina, who made sure that everything was very relaxing for my first time. I will say I've had multiple spa experiences, but I have never had a facial before so I was a bit nervous on what to ask for. Making the appointment was super easy with their website and the only thing easier than that was appearing for the appointment. It was so quiet and peaceful inside, and the faculty was super clean. Barely waited in the lounge area before Serina popped in and guided me to the next room for my appointment. She took the time to calmly and clearly explain each step so I knew what was going on and being used, she literally put my mind and body at ease throughout the facial treatment! She even told me to try out the other facility options like the steam shower before leaving and I was in heaven. My skin felt so revitalized and my coworkers and friends noticed the change in my wonderfully renewed skin. She even helped me start up a skin care routine later so i can feel like I'm doing s good job with my self care activities. Definitely going to be coming back for another facial with her soon.

I was so happy with my overall experience here! First of all, I accidentally scheduled my appointment on the day of the Chicago marathon and spent the hour before my appointment driving around the area trying to find a way to this location. After realizing I wasn’t going to make my appointment time, I gave them I call and they were extremely accommodating and allowed me to reschedule with no additional fees. Then once my rescheduled appointment came, I felt at ease from the moment I walked through the doors. The facility is designed very nicely and was very clean. I had a wonderful massage by Tracy who was so friendly and professional. This is now my go-to spot for massages in the city!

I was very disappointed in the customer service. I received a text at 7am notifying me that my pedicure was canceled due to no technician being available. Another appointment was not available until Tuesday. Not to mention they were rude and abrasive when I responded inquiring if other accommodations could be made to get my pedicure today. 1. I scheduled this establishment because I had a gift card. 2. I had a trip the next day and scheduled the pedicure. When I checked in today I had to inquire about my pedicure being canceled & after the re- explanation from Amber, I had to request some kind of comp for the inconvenience. I initially scheduled my pedicure for 1:30pm to have enough time to relax but someone texted me directly requesting to reschedule to the 11am. So I accommodated the request sent to me in-turn not be accommodated or regarded for the inconvenience. I felt as though the customer service was horrible and Amber was very nonchalant and as I am a bother. PLEASE LET AMBER KNOW THAT, NO, I CAN NOT CONTROL IF SOMEONE CALLS IN SICK, but you all should have an action plan in place for situations like this. After speaking so highly of your establishment and recommending to friends, family & colleagues I will no longer do so. I will share that I definitely had a horrible experience during my birthday weekend.

Ehh. Waste of money. I got a pedicure here and it was the worst pedicure ever. My nails weren't even filed even. I arrived at 9:15 and I was told the service would take 45 minutes. I left at 10:15, I didn't even get my toes polished. They use unsanitary tools!Would not recommend at all.

I am SO disappointed. I have been here twice (both times booked signature facial). The first time, it was such an amazing experience! I loved it so much and was recommending it to everyone! HOWEVER, the second time I went, it was a complete 180. I got there before my appointment time to make sure I had enough time to change before the start time, I booked the 75 minute signature facial, the esthetician takes me back and we start the service as per usual. However she was really rough, not gentle at all and for about the last 20/30 minutes covered my eyes with a damp towel and did nothing. I was so extremely confused and figured maybe there was something on the towel (?) to like help me relax or something. She didn't explain or say that was supposed to do anything. It was complete silence and honestly (although this is just me coming to conclusions from my experience) it made me think that she was just on her phone. No she takes it off and puts lip balm on me and says we were done. She steps out the room, I check the time and it hadn't even been a full hour!! So I go back to the locker room, change and when I check out with the receptionist, she tells me that I was late to check in. I show her time stamps and PROOF that I was there early and she just kept on denying it. I told her that the facial did not finish at the time that it was scheduled to. I'm not sure if it's because I booked later in the day and they just wanted to get everyone out? Although I didn't book the latest appointment, it was in the evening but well before closing time. But it just felt like the esthetician was over it and not wanting to do her job. They ended up giving me 10% discount only. The manager reached out and told me I would have 15% discount on my next service. With such a horrible experience I had, I feel the right compensation was for my “service” to have been refunded! I am so upset I wasted any money to be put through stress and disappointment. I wont be booking any further with them and I was so upset and frustrated leaving there because my money went down the drain with such horrible experience. I left there feeling worse than when I got there and I expected the opposite. I booked with them to be able to relax and reward myself for having accomplished goals of mine and I left feeling distressed. Im so upset and for this reason would not recommend to anyone. It would be a hit or miss taking in consideration these two times I went. I will not be going back there and am so sad to say that as my first experience was so great but my last one was just so bad I would not give so much money to a place where I am unsure if I will receive proper care.

I have been coming to milk + honey since it opened in Chicago in 2022. The Signature massage is great - but I get the most out of the sports massage! I have been seeing Cindy for sports massage for the past few months and she has done great work. I am a marathoner and have been dealing with some lingering injuries while I train. Cindy's sports massage has been very effective in evening out the tension in my legs and hips, which in turn helps my stride while running and means my injuries are not exacerbated. I highly recommend her to other runners (and endurance athletes in general).
