First visit to Milk and Honey having just moved here the end of last year. I am a 30 year veteran of all things for skincare, laser, peels and fillers. From the first E mail to arrange my appointment as well as the services I received today I had a great experience. I have lived in NYC, Chicago and LA and these professionals know how to take care of people. Ande, greeted me as well as giving me price quotes and checked me out quickly, post treatment. Once I got home I had a question about my bill and she kindly straightened me out. Molly Patel is a fantastic jack of all trades, we did Sculptra and a Precision Peel and set me up with a future BBL. She listened to my concerns and knew exactly what I needed. Lastly, I have recently lost most my hearing and all the staff were so kind and patient, pretty rare these days. I highly recommend Milk and Honey at the Loren.

This is my second time visiting Milk + Honey at the Loren Hotel and having a massage service with Hope. I highly recommend her for your next massage. My most recent visit I got a myofascial massage. Hope was great with discussing areas of focus and relieving pain. I will be booking her again for my next massage service. The spot is located at the hotel and valet parking is complimentary. Overall great experience.

Always a great experience at Milk and Honey. I recommend the Signature Facial with Shadé! I’ve booked three treatments with her and every time it’s so relaxing and rejuvenating, I think, “Why don’t I do this more often?”. Besides being a fabulous esthetician, Shadé is really kind. I’m pretty self-conscious about my skin issues (hello, sun damage), and I appreciate how her gentleness and encouragement helps me feel at ease. Best facial ever!

I had my first custom facial with Shade back in November, and I’ve been booking monthly appointments with her ever since—she’s AMAZING! Shade cares about my skin just as much as I do. Every product she uses during the facial and recommends afterward is thoughtfully tailored to my skin/skin type. She genuinely goes above and beyond in every way. I cannot recommend Shade enough. The whole team is friendly, and I always look forward to my visits. The waiting area is so nice—I love arriving a bit early to enjoy the calming tea station and take a moment to unwind. The changing areas are thoughtfully designed, with lockers to store your belongings as you slip into a cozy robe. They also provide a few amenities such as deodorant, hair and face moisturizers, and more in the changing area.

Been to this location about 3 or 4 times now, always coming in a broken, twisted desk jockey and leaving a taller, more aligned human being. Hope has been my therapist each visit and is always tailoring her work to my needs. Always listening and explaining the best services for my physical ailments. Will be back, again and again.

Easily the best facial experience I've ever had. I felt comfortable and well cared for the entire time. My esthetician Shade was very professional and did a phenomenal job. The front desk staff was also knowledgeable and welcoming. Highly recommend!

Hands down, one of the best massages I’ve ever had. If you need to work out the tough knots and realign your spine - and feel like you’re walking on clouds, go see Hope. I see her every month now and tell all my friends about her. She has so much background knowledge on all the techniques and I am so thankful I found her.

I came here to get a massage and left with a life changing experience. Hope is an amazing masseuse who really cares to understand how and where my tension and stress formed and works very hard to treat those areas. I’ve had knots on my shoulders that I thought were never going to leave and she made them disappear! She is very knowledgeable and caring and I fully vouch for her skills.

I would highly recommend Hope for prenatal massage treatments. I came to her after visiting a few other massage therapists in Austin for a specific issue and Hope was the first person to resolve my concern. I visited her on several occasions during my pregnancy and she significantly reduced my amount of discomfort throughout!

Milk + Honey is an amazing place with great talent. Hope is hands down the best massage therapist I’ve ever seen - and for context - I’ve been to some premier spas around the world. She does an excellent job of trying to understand the source of the pain points, communicates her approach and checks in on pressure / feeling / release to adjust her massage accordingly. I solely purchased a Milk + Honey membership to make sure I see her monthly. Her techniques have released muscle pain stemming from my youth and has helped me literally live with less pain. I’m so grateful to her and always look forward to spending me time at Milk + Honey. I’ve also started Acne targeting facials here that have drastically improved my skin. Each specialist I’ve seen has done an outstanding job. Each practitioner I’ve seen has also gone out of their way to provide recommendations to help me with my skin, muscles etc on a day to day level. I literally love this place and I truly hate spending money on myself. They make it a little too easy haha

This review is for Hope. I’ve been seeing Hope for regular massages for months. She has changed my life. I was in a bad car accident a few years ago and truly didn’t realize the lasting impact it had on my body. I had pain in different places and I just learned to live with it. I honestly didn’t put two and two together that these pains could been from my car accident. Hope has essentially cured me of all my lingering pain. She’s helped me in ways that I can’t even describe. I haven’t felt like this in a really long time and it’s all because of Hope. Every massage she has me do certain movements that I do regularly (typing on a computer, moving the mouse, mimicking my sleep positions, and exercises related to weight lifting and Pilates) and the knots she gets out is insane. My neck and shoulders have. Never. Felt. Better. Recently my husband and I decided to start trying to get pregnant and Hope has helped me get rid of scar tissue and pains in my abdomen, probably from the seat belt in my car accident. I’m not kidding, my period has gone back to being regular and my cramps have essentially disappeared. I recommend Hope to every single person I know. She can help you in ways that you don’t even know exist. Getting a massage with Hope is a spiritual experience. Hope, you are an angel. Thank you for everything.

Hey guys, the facility and massage itself were pleasant, but please stop verbally asking me for gratuity, especially since it’s redundantly asked again at the payment terminal. People know that tipping is a thing in the United States, if someone feels inclined to tip, they will take initiative. I, for one, think that $165 for a 60 minute massage is sufficient compensation and enough to pay your massage therapist a living wage. so please stop asking me for more money.

I came for a massage, and went to a different planet — ask for Ian. I’ve had six masseuses before him, and he was one of the best. Very attentive, and asked about the pressure during the service which I appreciated. Adjusted it immediately when I requested, and is highly skilled, thorough, and intuitive. It felt like it came naturally to him, and he has a calming presence. They said he’s one of the providers who’s been here the longest, and is most often requested. Steam showers here are also great, and work well. Plus, complimentary valet without the stress of a time limit. Overall, wonderful.

I showed up at 1:01 for a 1pm appt for a 45 minute massage. . I had already completed my form online so I didn’t think timing would be an issue. I was taken back to the waiting area and the massage therapist wasn’t even on time. They didn’t come get me from the waiting area until around 1:10pm. I was asked a few questions and by the time I was on the bed it was already around 1:15. For whatever reason, the massage therapist rinsed his hands between every single area he worked on, which I think took away a lot of time from my massage. I also got a back scrub add on which he took far too much time trying to clean the scrub that fell onto the bed off. I was off the bed at exactly 1:45 when I feel like my massage should've gone longer based on the therapist not being on time and taking away from my massage by rinsing his hands and cleaning the scrub.

Mo for the win!!! Her skill and attention is top notch. She starts with a consult to understand what your needs are - which is amazing because most misuse don’t do that. And what’s even better is she takes what you told her and actually applies that to her message. She truly is brilliant at her craft. I’ll be coming back for sure to get her Mo-ssage!!

Don’t like this location. The massage therapist was fantastic. I have no complaints there, but the place and the experience were subpar. First, it is way too bright in there. Every inch is floor to ceiling windows with white sheer curtains. My face was exhausted from squinting. I couldn’t wait to get into my cozy room but to my shock, even the treatment rooms are the same huge windows. Not cozy at all. It felt like a doctor’s office. Even the therapist said ‘close your eyes, the sun is shining on you when you flip over’. Thankfully she quickly gave me a mask. The sales associates are overly salesy but that’s how every MH is so that was no surprise. The shower room lacks razors, eye makeup remover, face lotion which I feel are basic for the price point. All around, I would not return to this location. 2nd Street is at least cozier.

I booked a massage here when visiting from out of town. The price is very high for a massage; however, it was so worth it. I can’t remember my masseuse’s name, but he was the best masseuse I’ve ever had. I have knee issues and have repeatedly asked in massages for people to work on them. Almost no one does, and I’m usually left disappointed. He spent a lot of time on the knots and muscles around each knee cap, and it was so relieving and relaxing to finally have some of the tension I carry there worked out. Worth every penny.

I had the pleasure of receiving a hydrafacial from Rayna, and i am MORE than pleased with the results. We had a wonderful consultation and i felt like she really took the time to understand my concerns & goals for my skin. She is very knowledgeable about all things skin care & gave one of the best facial lymphatic drainage massages i’ve ever received. 5 stars across the board, will definitely be coming back & referring her to everyone!

This review is for Chet, a wonderful massage therapist at the Loren location. I've seen him twice — once for a signature massage, once for deep tissue — and he was a skilled practitioner. It's clear he understands the musculoskeletal system and seems like he really studies the science of movement and body mechanics. He's friendly to boot. I'd highly recommend Chet!
