Dali is horrible. I was overcharged and she did not complete the service. I paid for my wig to be styled and all she did was cut the lace. She had nothing to even blend my lace or to secure my wig. I literally left the shop with the wig not even secure on my head. The owner is unprofessional and did not follow through with me. She co-signs her hair stylist being horrible to customers and has no problem taking your money regardless if you’re satisfied with the work or not. TAKE YOUR MONEY ELSE WHERE!!!

Had the absolute worst experience for my daughter. Made an appointment 2 weeks in advance. We sat for an hour waiting for my daughter to be serviced and in that hour, Joseph, who was scheduled to do my daughters hair never showed. The owner had someone else wash and shampoo her hair. My daughter said at least 4 times that the water was too hot and the stylist seemed to just ignore her. Another stylist was called in to braid my daughters hair. She did her best to do my daughters hair, but I was frustrated at some of the comments she was making towards my daughters tender headedness on top of constantly watching her shaking her head and seeming annoyed with my child. To top it all off, Joseph showed up 2 hours later to do someone else's hair. He never even acknowledged our presence in the shop let alone an apology for missing our appointment. This is our 3rd visit to this shop, and after today, it will be our last!

Dali was absolutely HORRIBLE!!! If I could give negative stars I would. First, she was TWO HOURS late, I received a braid takedown that was supposed to include shampoo & blow dry according to the website. Dali complained the entire time about length and fullness of my hair and even said she “wished she could cut my hair bc it would be easier”. Once she was done taking the braids down I asked her my total, she said “$80” and if I wanted a wash it would be $40 ADDITIONAL. After I showed her the website, she continued to do my hair. She continued to complain… huff and puff and kept saying my hair was “a lot of work & not easy” (I have middle back length, thick hair). When it was time to pay, I paid $80. She began to yell and scream at me. After asking her very politely to lower her voice 3 times, I walked out. She chased me out the salon! I was so embarrassed … I would never walk out without paying and she made a a scene as if I did. Luckily, another gentleman that worked there came out and asked me to speak with him. After explaining the situation and showing him the site, he explained to Dali that I had done nothing wrong. She tried to rob me of my hard earned money and completely embarrassed me. She obviously doesn’t want to gowork and only wants clients with short, thin hair. Stay away! She has other low reviews, DO NOT BOOK HER.

I believe is this should never be rude to their clientele. I made an appointment and then waited for 2 1/2 hours. This is ridiculous, rude and horrible.

I had to delete a comment about this place years ago because everyone is different. However, I can tell that whoever runs this establishment holds their workers to a high standard. This place is clean, well put together, and actually have stylist who care about the health of hair which is RARE nowadays. I recommend this place for sure (:

The Best Ever! Shadonna os a new stylist/loctician at Millennium. She was very professional, punctual, and knowledgeable about natural hair. I will definitely be back!!!

I got a silk press and now my hair is fried all over. In the front, the mid shaft is completely straight and the curls at the bottom are loose. In the back, there are completely straight parts and the rest is wavy. There is also a section of hair that is super dry and frizzy. I didn’t think heat damage could be that bad.

I like my shortcut styled a very particular way and let me tell you Kie got it right! I’m a first time customer but I’ll definitely be back. So glad to see stylist that truly know how to style short hair. Thank you so much. I’ve gotten so many compliments and only been out the salon 5 hours. Also, the time management is on point I didn’t have to sit there half a day for a wash set and curl. I was in at 8:50am and out before 10:30am. I truly appreciate it!!

I went to this salon about 8 days ago for a middle part traditional sew in. The staff is very friendly and they were able to squeeze me in as a walk-in. I bought 3 bundles (24,26,28) and was going for the trendy bone straight "bussdown"/tape-in look with a natural hairline. I communicated this to Joseph. The service went fine to my knowledge (I've never had a sew-in) but the finished result was underwhelming. Layers were cut into my bundles while styling to I guess blend my leave out but once straightened at home I noticed there is a chunk of hair on my right side (only my right side) that I guess was cut too much basically making my install uneven and weird. this chunk of hair falls an inch below my right shoulder when my bundles are all much longer than shoulder length. and its only one side which makes it worse. The more and more I notice it the more and more it bothers me due to the fact that I paid for quality LONG bundles to be worn bone straight. I have gotten a service here before (a 26 in 13x6 wig install aiming for the same look) and had to go home and fix it immediately. My wig was not blended at all and very much slapped on my head. I figure this is partially my fault due to the fact that I didn't book the customization service, but had I known it was required to actually make the wig look decent, I would have. To this day I find it odd that I walked in there with a $300 long frontal wig and nobody said "hey, we offer a customization service that will make this look better" instead of gaslighting me into thinking it looks fine lol (my part was white due to them not adding any color to the cap or lace, among other things) This is an inviting and clean salon and everyone is generally very nice, and that's why i continued to come back. the sew in itself feels secure although the tracks do peak through my leave out. I don't see the point of taking quality hair to a salon just for them to chop your bundles or you to have to go home and immediately fix the install. if you are looking for more current or trendy styles I wouldn't recommend this salon. I feel like this is a good salon for basic styles.

I would give them a -0- if it were available. My daughter is a student at UNCG and started going here in August. Every since she has been going, her credit card has been charges numerous fees - booking fee and other fees outside of the normal hair style. She gets the same hair style everytime and is charged different amounts. She came recently 14 minutes late due to traffic and was turned away - Ki was rude and I told her never to come back here. Unprofessional and never provides explanation of misc charges. Her hair looks great, but it is not worth it to have this unacceptable type of service.

There were a few things that bothered me. I booked an appointment for a sew in closure, my first one so I’m not very knowledge on the process or the correct ways to apply a closure. The day of my appointment it was pushed back three hours, which okay things happen. However, I dropped off my closure two days before my appointment in hopes that it would be prepped for a seem-less install, but it looked as if the closure was untouched and not bleached since the knots were visible. Once I got home I also noticed a few things wrong with my sew in. There were hairs all over my lace which made it even more visible and it didn’t look like a neat install. I had to purchase some products and touch it up myself after my appointment. The part needed more plucking, my hair seemed frizzy even after styling was done, I had to touch up the color on my lace since it appeared too orange. I heard lots of good things about Joseph and was excited for my appointment, however this was just a bit disappointing. Especially since I am new to this style and was excited to try it out. It appeared to me that the stylist was rushing since it was late and this style takes time. That could be my only explanation for this messy install. Apparently if you leave a bad review you get blocked from booking. I did not have a good experience with my sew in and left a review on the booking app. Now I can’t book any more appointments. Nice

I usually have a great experience with Joseph i’ve been coming for about a year now. i recently booked with Tierra and got soft locs. she was really nice but the service wasn’t. i waited an hour prior to my scheduled appointment to get started. she stopped my hair for an entire hour to proceed to do someone else hair who also had been waiting. When she was finished she offered me no discount and to top it but hair is coming a loose at the root before it can be a full week since she done them. i feel like some kind of sorry and discount should’ve been offered.

I won't get my nails done anywhere else! Everyone is friendly, clean and esthetically pleasing environment. Prices are reasonable and competitive and they are very accommodating.

Joseph did my feed in braids and I love them. I have 4C hair and it typically takes some stylist quite some time to detangle my hair. He took his time, washing, conditioning, and blowing my hair dry and it didn’t take long. My braids are neat and secure without being too tight. My only complaint is the amount of gel that was used. I’m just not use to using a lot of product but I understand that the gel keeps my hair tamed while braided. For a wash, conditioner, blow dry, and braid with hair included, the price and service was great. I would highly recommend coming here for feed in braids versus other salons.

Kiericka did a great job fixing my botched hair color that I previously had done at a different salon. The salon smelled a bit strongly of chemical (like nail glue maybe?) when I walked in but other than that, no complaints. I'd definitely return in the future!

Sheri Walker is an AMAZING stylist. She took the time to answer my questions before I made the appointment. She communicated with me the morning of the appointment and walked me through each step while I was there. Sheri took EXCELLENT care of my hair. She braided my hair tight, and I was still able to move my neck like normal. I woke up the next day and still felt great. The customer service was the best quality I have received in a long time. I will be back, and I have already started giving friends her information.

Well, if I could give less than 1 star I would. My appointment was confirm and set for Tuesday, May 17th at 8:00am. I arrived a little early at 7:50am, as I do for most appointment. I waited until 8:30am before leaving. I did not get a text or call from the stylist. To Use the word "professional" and stylist together is a stretch. Maybe "unprofessional" would Be a better choice. I've never been to a place that could care less about my time and money. But now my time and money will be spent somewhere else.
