I LOVE this place. Services are great (nails, pedicures, and eyebrow threading). I finally find my regular technician who always does my nails how I want and has a personality I jibe with but they have all been pretty good.

Some experiences here have been fine but I usually feel rushed and like an inconvenience. I think it's just the culture of nail salons today to be honest. But the last time I came in I picked something the nail tech apparently wasn't trained to do (I think it was a subtle ombré or something) and so I said "oh no worries sorry I didn't realize that was technically considered a design! Let me pick another normal color!" Even though I persisted she literally didn't even let me pick a normal color and said in the rudest tone "don't worry we'll accommodate you" and then had me wait for another nail tech. They were SO rude about it and were obviously talking about me amongst coworkers. After about 10 minutes of waiting I was so uncomfortable and just walked out and ate the no show fee. I'm usually so nice to service workers as I've been one myself, so to be treated with such passive aggression for no real reason was jarring. Anyway I've been doing my own gel x at home for months now and I love it! So much better than paying $75 to be treated like that

Update: I’m pretty upset with how my nails feel after yesterday. In addition to my manicure, I got a pedicure. The guy cut my nails too short and my left big toe already feels sore and is getting in grown. You can see where the natural nail was and how short it is now. The first time I went here, I was impressed. I had MiLee that time. This time, I had a gentleman and it felt extremely rushed. I asked for rounded almond shape. I ended up with very short, rounded nails that weren’t painted all the way and some spots of nail polish on my skin.

Days after my pedicure my toe started to really be in pain and throb. It got infected and this isn’t the first time I’ve heard about this happening there. They really need to take a look at their sanitation and take it seriously!!! My toe still hasn’t recovered yet from the infection and it’s been a week.

Vanessa and Amy are my go too girls! They are so easy to talk to . And make sure to ask me if I like it along the way and don’t get upset if I ask for a change. I came in today with a photo, but I didn’t think it was possible to replicate and Vanessa did better than the photo! 100/10 recommend

To preface, I just want to say nail salons These days have inflated so much to the point where the actual workers aren’t doing any extra work, and any extra work they do when you ask it’s the end of the world!! I made an appointment today same day for Vanessa at this shop. I come in 10 minutes earlier than my appointment greeted fine at the door was pointed to Vanessa And told to go ahead. I’ve been here before and usually they asked me, or the actual artist comes to me, but I didn’t see any big deal Being asked to go to her. I walk up and she acts surprised that I’m even there… She’s clearly doing her own nails which is fine, but if I’m early, the receptionist needs to know to hold Me back until she finishes up whatever Vanessa needs to do. I digress. I sit there in front of her for anywhere between 5 to 10 minutes. I don’t even know I felt so awkward and I felt bad. When she finishes, she confirms what my appointment is for which is full, set acrylics with shellac. Explained that I had gelx tips that I removed this morning And that I wanted to go back to acrylics. She starts talking to me, basically out of getting acrylics, and getting gel again I felt Bad missions, so I said sure let me look at the forms that you have. She starts to prep Both my hands for gelx, Under the UV light and everything, And I told her wait can I see the shapes before you put them on Permanently with gelx. She showed me and I changed my mind which is And should have been fine because why did you prep my entire nails if I asked I only want to check the forms of them first to see what they looked like. It’s not my fault that she didn’t understand that I was not trying to look at them entirely placed on my hands rather than just as one singular form. Vanessa was very visibly upset / annoyed of my clarification of “no this is not what I actually want to do. I just wanted to see what you had And what they look like. The rest of the appointment was painfully awkward, and I commend her for trying to be nice after the fact, but do not try to persuade people to do something that’s easier for you. I came in at 2:35 PM and left at 4 o’clock. At the receptionist desk before leaving, I was asked if everything was OK I said no And they shyly with no empathy proceeded to ask why and after I explained there was literally no response besides sorry. This industry is frustrating, Mall salon or not, because people come in knowing what they want and every single time something prevents a worker from doing what they ask for what is the point anymore? Vanessa did not have to have an attitude after I tried to just let her know that I want acrylics that was not necessary. I paid for the service and unfortunately it was such a bad experience.

Daisy does phenomenal work. She takes great care of me and I always appreciate her approach. My nails have never been longer or more beautiful and she always goes above and beyond to meet my needs when I have a specific design in mind. Even with pretty long nails, I haven’t broken a nail in probably a year. I also use her for pedicures and she gives great leg massages!

Jan 05, 2025

I have been to Minabella many times now. The staff are all very friendly and polite. The work they do is top of the line. I personally go for pedicures since I work on my feet most of the time. My girlfriend goes for both manicures and pedicures. Always with great results! 10/10 recommended for men and women!

Jan 05, 2025

I typically don’t like to post negative reviews but it’s been a few days and my experience still feels off to me. I’ve had a few pedicures prior at this location and every time the color I really want isn't available but I have a back up color in case. This time the back up color they didn’t have either and my tech grabbed a handful of colors and irritatingly asked me if any of these would work. Once the pedicure started it was fine until the callous remover part. **full disclaimer I am heavier set** but she wouldn’t even touch my feet to stabilize while she was “grating” them. It was very awkward as I was wearing a dress and had my purse in my lap with the massage chair going she kept telling me to hold my leg up higher… my calf started to spasm and I couldn’t hold my foot still. At that point she told me she can’t hold my foot, I’m way too big… I have never felt so belittled and humiliated. I get my toes done every 8-10 weeks and I’ve never had anyone tell me this. Also I’m more than aware that the middle of the foot test can come up to help hold feet. I’ve never had a tech use it on me but I’ve seen others use it. At this point I only went to minabella to get a nail color I’ve never seen at other salons but I don’t think I’ll be back after that since they never seem to have that color in stock anyways. I felt guilty to not tip her so I gave $5 instead of my normal $10. Long story short I paid $80 for a shellac pedicure to be insulted and get a color I don’t really care for.

Jan 05, 2025

The management of this spa is terrible I will never go again.

Jan 05, 2025

We went there last Saturday for pedicures we had appointments so we’re right in however one of the 4 of us was in pain as the lady was clawing her legs I will post pictures of the marks that were left. We showed them at check out time and she said I can’t do anything about it but I’ll give the owner your number. It’s now Wednesday with no response. Will never go back and will never recommend this place.

Jan 05, 2025

We were bamboozled for an extra $25 bucks. We thought we doing $10 extra for the chrome but when we got to the register it was an extra $25. Really.... then the color was not even correct!!! When I pointed that out they were like oh well! Never going back! Pretty sure it is common practice as several others were confused when they were paying ! Do better! ETA...And no that was not explained at the beginning and before services the wheel said +$10. No where did it say $15 extra for the shellac until you walk to the register to pay AFTER your service where it is THEN clearly posted! Be warned if you choose the chrome it is +10 for the chrome and an additional $15 for shellac! It is deceptive and misleading! Don't be misled like we were! If it were made clear I would have told you NO!

Jan 05, 2025

Worst experience ever! I had an appointment for a manicure and had to wait a half an hour ...finally had to leave without getting the service. Poor time management on part of nail tech! As i was leavingLadies at front desk said this nail tech was running way behind all day. Never thought to tell me that. Didnt seem to care!!!@ You lost a regular customer!!!!!!!

Best pedicure I've had in a longg time! Great service felt cozy and clean!

Dec 05, 2024

Bon *nailed* it! I've only had two manicures in my life, and both were by Bon. He's incredibly friendly and makes the whole experience so comfortable. He took the inspo photos I brought and went above and beyond to exceed my expectations. Highly recommend!

Dec 05, 2024

Friendly and amazing staff! No complaints about the services! Best nail salon I’ve ever been to! Also a very clean salon!

Dec 05, 2024

I booked the Caramel Apple Pedicure. Nothing about it was caramel apple themed at all and I did not receive my drink. The technician did not wear a mask and was coughing loudly all around me and the salon. Minus a quick rub with some hot stones, there was no massage of any kind. Everything seemed dirty and unkempt. Absolutely will not be back.

Dec 05, 2024

I love minabella, I used to drive 2 hours 1 way to Omaha to get my nails done, now I only have to drive 1 hours since moving to Lincoln. I have been going to minabella over 4 years now and have never encountered any issues at the salon. My nails always come out better than my inspo pictures, they have the best pedis and drinks. I cant recommend minabella more then I already do.

Dec 05, 2024

I love this place!

Dec 05, 2024

I think this place is perfect! It’s clean and the customer service is great!!!

Dec 05, 2024

My wonderful nail tech along with others were “let go” by a text! How unprofessional.Fortunately I know where she is going and will follow her.Already have an appointment! Now I never have to go to this “place” again. Do not believe the “leave of absence” story the management is spewing if your tech is gone.

Dec 05, 2024

They are always so caring Still giving them a 5 but we both thought we would get our hands and feet massage and did not with the special of mani Pedi combo Moscato was an added yummy treat Polish came off of 3 nails that night

Dec 05, 2024

This review is for TyTy! She has been doing my nails and does an amazing job. She is sweet and kind. If I have a suggestion she will make sure to do it. Today I came in bc I wasn’t happy with the color I picked last time and she made the change without hesitation and no extra charge. Thank you!!

Dec 05, 2024

Updated to add my nail chipped 5 days after getting done. WOW. This place is so overrated. They are misleading and overpriced. I have gave it numerous shots on multiple different occasions, and I don’t understand the hype. They charge $5 for shaping your nails lol which makes zero sense. You have to shape ANY NAIL? then $10 to remove my nails, rather than just put two new nails on??? Why wasn’t any of the additional costs just spoken about upfront? A full set is actually $60 if you consider the “shape fee” - why add all the extra fees? It’s very misleading and overpriced, and my nails are way shorter than I requested :( bummed out for spending money and not happy with the results. I usually get crazy designs for this price. $70 for plain nails, no design, it’s stupid. Go anywhere else.

Nov 05, 2024

Great quality but I felt rushed and I wish they would have explained the mani/pedi combo better. You can’t get it with certain mani styles.

I think this place does not get enough reviews from its satisfied customers. I went for the first time today and the place was packed! Even though it was busy, it was still quiet and calm and you can tell the team has a well-oiled system because everything ran so smoothly. Everyone working in the salon was very friendly. I had an overall wonderful experience! For my first visit, I made an appointment for the seasonal pedicure package since I had seen the ads for a few months on Facebook. I had Milee as my technician and she was very nice and allowed me to have a quiet, relaxing appointment since I had one headphone in to listen to my audiobook. She did a wonderful job and checked in with me a few times to make sure everything was okay. This month’s seasonal package was a pumpkin spice pedicure with the Voesh pumpkin pie pedicure in a box (which I am a huge fan of all of the Voesh pedicure boxes). My only minor complaint: I would prefer that they did not use the tool that looks like a cheese grater and opted for a pumice stone or something a bit more gentle as the cheese grater can cut you and could run risk of infection if you are cut. (For this reason, I had to give a this review a four because of the use of a cheese grater tool as they are illegal in most states.) The massage chair was decently comfortable and you could adjust the settings, I didn’t really like the full back setting as it was really hard pressure and stopped at the lower back for a long time which was uncomfortable. So be mindful if you opt to use the massage chair to adjust it! I typically do my own pedicures at home and I always do squoval shape on my toes and at this pedicure, my nails turned out super square but I take ownership for that as I don’t think that I remembered to mention my shape preference to my tech, so always speak up and communicate! A few of the nails were cut a tiny bit crooked, like at an angle. She still did a beautiful job on them and they were still very pretty, just different than what I usually do! :) I chose the color CD Rom-antic by OPI and it was a gorgeous chrome vampy red for fall. I think that if you are considering trying this salon for the first time, you should go for their pedicure package as it included the polish removal, cuticle care, nail trim & shaping, exfoliating, scented scrub, scented mud masque, hot stone massage, massage with lotion, hot towel, regular polish, and the cocktail. For just $60, it’s not much more expensive than a basic pedicure and it’s a fun treat for yourself!

I went Sunday to get a mani pedi with shellac. I have had four nails chips in three days time. I paid the 30 up charge and don't feel like I got the benefit, I could of just gotten the regular polish which I originally picked out. I when back the very next day to get one nail fixed and right after that another nail chipped, and another and another! I can't keep going up their to get fixes and this maybe may last trip. I have NEVER had shellac chip off within a few days of having my nails done. It has not even been a week! DND brand -color-Walnut 52 in shellac is not good. It's pretty but doesn't last at all. I got the diamond package mani pedi w/shellac which cost a $116 plus the $20 tip. I am very disappointed!!! I got the kids combo too spends $184 all together.

I’m writing this review while I’m still in the chair. I’ve been looking for a salon like this, best pedicure of my life

Nov 05, 2024

Do not book under the book online tab here on google. It will send you to some website that apparently isn’t associated with them at all and you will be turned away despite scheduling and confirming an appointment. Completely insane and they need to get this figured out so customers aren’t mislead.

I got to my acrylic fill appointment about 10 minutes early, at 6:50pm, with my book, expecting to wait. This was my first experience at Minabella. However, 20 minutes passed, it was 10 minutes past my appointment time, and I still hadn’t been taken back. At this point I was concerned as the salon closes in 50 minutes & I wasn’t sure that would be enough time to get my nails done. Finally around 7:15pm, my tech, Daisy, brought me back to her area, apologizing and clearly frazzled. There was another girl getting her nails done still at Daisy’s station. She explained that she messed up the other client’s polish color & had to redo it and apologized for running late. I assured her it was okay, and continued to sit there for another 10 minutes. Around 7:25pm, my appointment finally began, and Daisy began clipping off my old acrylics where they had been lifting. My right thumb had been lifting the most, and I noticed that she didn’t clip the old acrylic off all the way through where it was lifting. I was concerned about this meaning the new fill would lift easy, but I’m new to getting my nails done (this was my second set), so I just trusted the process. The whole time, Daisy was visibly frazzled and rushing through the appointment. She was being very rough on my nails as well. When she was hand filing the new acrylic into an almond shape (because I had her shorten the old set), she was doing it so hard that I was in genuine pain. I am very non-confrontational though and didn’t say anything and I know that’s on me. When she got to the design portion, she messed up by putting a French tip on every nail. I told her it was totally fine, it was cute anyways, and we could just put like 2 flowers on each of my ring fingers. She proceeded to do some of the most elementary looking flowers of all time & added dots that I did not ask for around them. At this point, it’s already a bit after close, there’s no one else in there but the 2 kind front desk gals, and I’m tired and just want to go home as well, so I again let it slide. I should also add that there was NO sanitation process for anything used on my nails. Old files, used and dusty clippers & cuticle cutters, unclean acrylic brush, used dremel bit, no ain’t covered nail art tool, etc. The work station and everything near it was also COVERED in nail dust like it hadn’t been cleaned in a few days to the point where anywhere me or my body touched got covered in dust. Absolutely unsanitary and disgusting. Yes maybe I should have said something, but I shouldn’t have had to. This is a legal requirement to follow sanitation expectations when you’re a licensed salon with licensed techs. This was a case of “this is what I asked for, and this is what I got” when I left, but the nails looked fine enough from far away (don’t look up close though lol) & I was leaving for vacation in 2 days. The next two days, my nails were in immense pain from how rough she was, and my cuticle area was red, swollen, itchy, and on fire. After 2 days, these symptoms went away. Fast forward 6 days after getting my nails done, my right thumb is indeed lifting terribly. Then 3 days later on day 9, I’m getting ready for bed & see a dark spot under the acrylic on my left pointer finger. That nail was barely lifting (only started lifting in the last day or so), but I was worried it was a greenie (nail fungus), so I ripped it off. Sure as heck, a terrible nail fungus on my pointer. I ripped my thumb off too because I know trapped moisture can cause this, and thankfully no greenie (but that nail wasn’t going to last more than a few days anyways). Overall, super disappointed in this experience and now I can’t get my nails done because I have a fungus🙃 What a waste of $60 for nails that lasted a week and gave me a fungus and the rings of fire where the acrylic started by the cuticle. First picture is what I asked for. Pictures #2 & #3 are the day after of what I got and you can see how red & inflamed my fingers are. Pictures #4 & #5 are from today (day 11 after getting them done & 2 days after taking the 2 nails off).

Scheduled a nail appointment a month ahead of time with the nail tech that is able to do designs for my wedding. Got there right on time and she was running ten minutes behind due to the appt before me, no big deal. Showed her what I wanted and she Immediately told me she couldn’t do it because she had an appt after me and she didn’t have time for me. She could only do a solid color. She had already started drilling on my nails so I had her remove them and then left without having the manicure done. I scheduled my appt 1 month ahead of time so I could have my nails done exactly how I wanted them. The customer service I received was terrible. Tech was unfriendly and spent most of the time running to the back room and front desk. I will never go back and do not recommend this salon due to this terrible experience. Edit: This was completely my misunderstanding and my fault for not asking more questions when booking. I did go back to minabella and have used Saki for many years every single month. I enjoy going, the employees are friendly, and I have more experience and understand now how long nail art takes to complete. I actually recommend minabella all the time to anyone looking for a new nail salon.

The first three photos are from the day I got them done. They look like they’ve already grown out. And the cuticle work was very subpar. And then the 4th photo is a week after I had gotten them done. Already chipping away. And I got shellac! I don’t get my nails done very often so it was a very special occasion and I was really looking forward to the massage. I would have paid extra for the massage, but it was included so I thought great! But I didn’t even realize the massage was happening because it was just kind of running hands up and down my legs and feet with no pressure and no technique. It made me really sad ): I booked the place for a bridal party. My younger sister was getting married! We had a party of 7 and I had asked in advance over the phone if we could all be seated together and they said yes and I filled out a special form and everything. But when we got there, two girls in our party (who don’t even know each other) were put on the other side of the room from the rest of us! I felt so bad for them ): Online they have these gorgeous cocktails and drinks that look so luxurious and then you get there and they just give it to you in a plastic disposable water cup. It also felt very rushed and felt like they didn’t really care. My hand massage was so rushed. I was almost relieved when it was over because it was giving me so much anxiety. I could really feel that she didn’t want to be there and was just trying to get it done. My normal nail place (which isn’t in Omaha, I was just visiting) makes everyone feel very pampered and looked after. I didn’t really feel that at this place. :\ If you’re reading this, I would definitely book a different place :\

Nov 05, 2024

The young man doing my nails acted like he had no idea what he was doing. My hands are left rough and polish on sides on nails. I paid for a manicure and monthly specail pedicure and couldn't even drink the drink provided. My hands sat in acetone for almost an hour. Tried sating something before I paid and that staff shrugged it off. I will not be returning. If 8 could add pictures they would be attached

Wanted to update my review. I’m still not thrilled about getting an infection. However, the customer service I received after letting the company know about my experience was good. I appreciate them making things right in that way. I’m pretty disappointed. I found Minabella and went a few times for a pedicure and really enjoyed my experience however the last time I was there was not ideal. Even though I had an appointment I had to wait a long time. The women doing my pedicure cut me twice and I then ended up with an infection on my toe. Unfortunately I won’t be back after getting an infection and having to spend a morning in the urgent care and now being treated with antibiotics.
