Had my 1st appointment with Todd. He fixed my damaged and terrible self color job. I gave him full freedom to choose the color and the cut for my face and he did not disappoint. I walked out with healthy looking hair and feeling wonderful. He is friendly and does care about your needs. I will definitely be back. Found my new go to salon. Highly recommend Todd.

This will be a long review. My experience just cannot be summarized briefly. I Had my 2nd cut with Megan. My appointment started 10 munutes past my time, and no apology was offered. Little did I know this was the start to a horrendous experience. I have a short pixie cut with a long bang. I asked for a shorter cut and showed a photo with a side swept bang, spiked a little on the crown of head and short on sides but blended and not so short that scalp shows. I left the salon in a state of dedpair and in tears. I walked out of the salon with a cut with hardly any hair on the sides and back to the point my scalp is showing. So short on the top that the hair will do nothing but stand up and not blended on the crown of my head. It is awful. I have had short hair for 20 years and NEVER have I had such a terrible cut. I had to go home and immediately color my own hair to prevent my scalp for showing. The cut cannot even be styled. There is hardly any hair on the sides and front and the top will do nothing but stand up. I cannot figure out how an owner of a salon would look at the photo I presented, discuss the cut with me and then give me this horrible cut. I am in disbelief. I am horrified at my hair. She knew I was unhappy and still charged me for a full cut. She did not even check me out, had another employee check me out. No apology for a misunderstanding or any sort of concern was shown to me from Megan or any other employee. Highly disappointed and expected so much more from Megan and her salon. I will not return. I reached out to Megan afterwards and expressed my discontent and disbelief. She did apologize and refund the full amount. After our chat, I felt she was sincerely sorry and was willing to trust her to cut my hair in a few months. I attempted to schedule a later appointment through the Vagaro app as I did in the past. The salon had blocked me from booking through the app. I will never return to this salon and suggest you be well aware of using Megan to cut your hair. And if you expect to show a photo and get anything remotely close to the same cut, do not use Megan for your cut.

Todd Burns just gave me the best haircut I have ever had! I’m an introvert and always hate going to a stylist. Todd made me feel comfortable from the minute I met him. He consulted with me but actually knew exactly what I wanted without me having to tell him. I left feeling super excited about my new look. He is an artistic genius (and very kind).

I am going to start this review by saying, they did offer to let me come back the next day to have the original stylist or the owner attempt to fix what was done, but I do not trust them to fix it. Okay, now that I got that out of the way, I have long, thick, healthy hair that is really difficult to mess up. I have never complained about a cut or color I’ve received, ever. That being said, Courtney was the one to do my hair. I showed photographs (the first picture in the video is how my hair normally looks) and told her exactly what my old stylist sent me to achieve the look for cut and color. I did not give the color formula because I did not know what kind of products they used but I was very descriptive on what I wanted (ie. First photo in the video attached). When she finished the cut, I pointed out that the bangs were different lengths, which she tried to fix but then just flip flopped which one was longer. Somehow, she made my hair look thin and stringy, took off 8-12”, gave me bangs, and the color… the color is so bad, it’s a brassy orange and my hair now feels like straw instead of the silky hair it normally feels like. So, they offered to have me come back to fix it but as I was walking out the first time the owner told me how great it looked! And how much she LOVED it! So how can I trust someone that blatantly lied or is blind to fix the issues? I was asked by more than one person if the stylist that did this was on drugs, because nobody that’s in the industry would let someone walk out of their chair looking like this. Instead, I’m driving an hour and a half to my old stylist and going to pay another $300+ to try to salvage it.

Courtney did an amazing job with my haircut and color. I was nervous going in because I was getting a lot of length and volume cut from my hair, but I couldn't have asked for a better stylist.

Just move here from New Mexico and needed a new hair stylist. I was booked with Trish Toner. She did a beyond amazing job with my hair color and hair cut. I can’t believe how much work and passion she put into my hair appointment. I was amazed. She is truly a real artist! I have never been so happy with a cut and color! Thank you so much and I am glad I found a new salon and hair stylist. 😄

BEWARE of this Salon- Especially Eliza and the owner Megan. I went to Eliza the week of Thanksgiving in 2022. She was asked to foil my hair with a lot of dark low lights and ash highlights. Instead of foiling, she put color all over my hair. Over the next couple days, my hair began to change color and it began to break – there was severe breakage due to Eliza burning/frying my hair. My hair had been highlighted for years and I never had any issues with any other hairdresser and salon. I called the salon and advised them what had occurred. The owner, Megan, insisted upon doing a Brazilian Blowout on my hair saying it would stop the breakage. I trusted her and let her do the blowout. She also put something else on my hair in the shampoo bowl. My hair continued to break- even worse. I have pictures to show all of this. I was in tears for weeks as I watched my hair fall onto the floor, into the sink and stop up the shower. I went to 2 other hairdressers who said Eliza should have never done balayage on my hair. Both hairdressers said there was nothing anyone could do- they said it would have to grow out. I also discussed this with my dermatologist and she said the same thing. I have not been able to put color on my hair since because the hair is so damaged that if more color was put onto it there would be even more breakage. So, I am currently dealing with my hair being 2 colors as it grows out. It is going to take 3 years for it to grow out. The color and the blowout caused breakage and I have had hair fallout from the roots. My hair is very thin compared to the way it was before I stepped into the Mint salon. I have pictures to show this. The only thing Mint did was reimburse me for what I paid Eliza for the color. Megan advised me to only use Oribe products which are very expensive. I went and bought all the products and used them religiously. The salon refused to reimburse me for these products even though I had receipts. I never got an apology from Eliza or Megan. Eliza should not be allowed to hold a license as a cosmetologist. She also should have been fired by Mint salon but instead she still is employed by the salon. I waited this long to write this review but I still hate to look in the mirror at my hair. I am hoping this review will help avoid someone else going to this salon and have their hair ruined. This has been the most traumatizing event in my life.

Courtney is wonderful! She takes her time and does an excellent job. I've taken all 3 of my daughters each with different hair (curly, wavy and one with alopecia). They all leave happy and their hair always looks great.

Every visit to Mint is like a 1 hour vacation. It's calm & clean, it smells amazing, they offer you mimosas (I ask for bourbon instead), & there's no pressure to carry on a conversation - you can just relax. Worth every penny.

I have been a client of Megan (owner) of Mint for about 2 years. Megan and the salon are top notch. Knowledgeable, creative and professional (but fun). My hair has never looked or felt better. LOVE me some Mint!

I have been to Mint twice since I moved to Greenville and Olivia has given me the best two haircuts I have ever had! She truly understands curly hair and takes time to listen and discuss ideas thoroughly before getting started. She is the best! On top of that, the atmosphere there is friendly and warm. I highly recommend!

I moved from out of state, so was hoping to find a great stylist here. Halle did an excellent job with cut, color, and highlighting! She makes sure she does exactly what you want, and approaches all aspects very carefully. I’m more than satisfied with the results, and would highly recommend Halle!

I’ve been to Halle twice and she does a great job on my cut and balayage. I only get my hair done every few months or so but I love a natural looking blonde and I get people saying they wouldn’t have known I’m a natural brunette because my blonde looks so natural! I went in to get my hair done for prom and it turned out amazing. Another stylist finished my style and I’m not sure of her name but she did a great job. My curls stayed all night in very hot and humid weather.

Todd Burns gave me the best hair cut of my life. He was so informative the whole time and gave great suggestions. After only one appointment I can confidently say that I would trust Todd to do what he thought was best for my hair, and know regardless the result, I would leave happy and satisfied. Book Todd! UPDATE OWNER LIED NEVER GAVE MONEY BACK TOLD ME Todd rents chair so not het problem. So her response was BULLCRAP! I was never paid any of my money back as promised. I tried to be nice but receptionist is so rude she told me she never wanted to see me in there again. And she knows I went into a hot tub which, I do NOT Own and a SAUNA, which has been broken and has no heat. I just didnt want to pay to get it fixed so lies lies. TODD OR STEPHEN BURNS ruined my hair then they used my pic of the 2 days before I went in for advertising. I was told this recently by multiple people. I'm getting all my bills up I'm still having to have my hair worked on. You will pay for all of this now. Unfortunately I need to leave this review to warn others. PLEASE READ and see pics and texts threat. I had Todd Burns do a keratin treatment on my hair. As you can see the Pics where im smiling were taken 2 days before i went in with a friend. The others where what happened after i washed it. With the products that i was told to purchase. Keratin shampoo and conditioner which would be correct. He insisted I needed 4" cut because it was so bad i didnt see it because he had me turned. Does my hair look that bad 2 days before and he even striped the color out of my hair with whatever he did it turned a icky yellow. I was under the heat 4 times while he had other clients. We ended up there 7 hours I was under heat 4 times and had that on my hair till the last hour or more when he finally got back to me. While he was using flat iron my hair smelled like it was burning and i asked he said that is just the smell of the product being sealed in & I would love this and not need to come in for 5 to 6 months. He said he has the best stuff. Well it stuck terrible! Well as you can see it was cut horrible jagged in back and my entire top crown and side were so damaged. Im still trying to save it. He texted me he had magic that would fix my hair, i had to ask what is this magic because ive never been so sick to my stomach and cried for days i still am. He said well i have it then he texted he only had 1 of it need 2 more its olaplex. He said he would fix it, ok well his text was that id need to come to his home or his aunts home. NO WAY that sounded weird. I figure a 5 star salon would know so i called hoping to speak to owner but 2wice she never returned my calls. The lady at front desk, said he is only renting the chair and they have no part in helping him fix this or having anyone fix it for him. So they are not responsible for him, so. I'd have to work it out with him. Well he sent me a text stating that he would send my money back which I have not seen 1 penny. $200.00 of it. He threatened me after that. Salon doesn't want to back him up. I also found out his name is Stephen todd burns. Why name change well i found out. You can do your own digging on that it will SHOCK YOU! DO NOT expect Mint salon to do anything if anything happens to your hair. They have them push there products but dont want to help fix anything or getvyour money back. To a woman your hair is everything. You alsovwant it to look beautiful. Not look like that. I dont blame the keratin i blame how and who did it and the salon for acting how they have. It was done incorrectly. I have spent over $600.00 between product and treatments (not counting the 200.00 given to him)so far trying to fix this but cant get salon or Todd Burns or Stephen Todd Burns to give my money back. We have been in contact with the company that makes the keratin treatment they sell and only way this could have been done is overheated/ overprocessed. So facts are straight. I PRAY that this helps someone. Because this could happen to you. 😢
