My pedicure was fine but the technician cut my toenails so short that they couldn’t even be filed evenly because of how short they were, and once they are cut that short there isn’t really anything you can do to fix it. This is a close up of my big. toe but all of my toenails are rough and jagged like this one. One of them is actually sore from being cut so close to the skin.

I have been going to Miss T for all of my waxing needs, for quite a few years now. Miss T (Tu) is a lovely lady who runs a very professional salon. She and her staff provide an extensive list of services. Her “beauty lounge” is always perfectly clean and in order. In addition to the beauty lounge, Miss T has a fabulous Thai restaurant located on the first floor of her building; and she has just recently opened another close to the Pitt and CMU campuses. She is a fantastic business woman in addition to being a very hard worker.

I have been a client at this salon for 7 years and visited salons throughout the country trying to find one that matches their caliber of meticulous, compassionate, and professional services at Miss T's and has yet to find it. Even after moving out of PGH, I still find reasons to come back just so I can soak up the aesthetic and natural aura in the space. Tu, Pink, Mae, and Sarah are truly a family and when you go they make you feel like family. I've received manicures, pedicures, and waxing services. Miss T's prides itself on natural nail maintenance care. My nails have never been healthier and I learn something new about what to incorporate into my nail care routine when I go. This gem cannot be replicated. There isn't a place like it in Pittsburgh or many other cities on the East Coast.

I was in here; on Tuesday May 31, 2022. At 4:00 p.m. in the afternoon, and May did my nails, & it looked okay to me. But I wanted them to do “ Nail Art” / design on my nails!!!!

I was very pleased with the waxing. I was impressed with the attention to detail and going over and carefully checking that I don't get at every waxing place. It didn't feel rushed but it was over fast. She noticed my skin sensitivity and gave attention to it and tips to help it. I felt comfortable the entire time. The price was also incredibly fair. I have paid more at other places and had half the quality. Thank you so much ! I wish I had found this place sooner and not right when I’m moving. Would recommend to anyone looking for a place to get a Brazilian somewhere clean and comfortable. The eyebrow waxing and tinting also came out really nice and the face is so smooth without any reactions to the products they use.

I went yesterday with a friend to get a manicure and a pedicure. It was the most pleasant, stress free experience. Miss T’s Beauty Lounge is so pretty. May was kind and sweet. My hands and toes look fabulous. Just an all around lovely, relaxing experience.

Great customer service! I went on New Year’s Eve without an appointment. When I got to the salon, I found out that they did not have any available appointments for that day. Despite that, they accommodated me when I asked if I could just have my gel manicure taken off. Thankfully, one of their appointments did not show up so I got to have the full manicure. Tools used were not worn out, instead they seems to be of good quality and the lady did a great job with manicure itself. Good experience. Would definitely recommend this salon.

I just moved to the shadyside neighborhood from NYC and I was nervous about getting my eyebrows waxed and tinted in a new city, thank heavens I found Miss T’s beauty lounge! I am very picky about my eyebrows, I like them thick and a more natural color, my eyebrows look better then they ever have. I have found my waxing place in Pittsburgh!

This place is fantastic. My nails turned out beautiful, and the manicurist kindly let me know that there was a different type of regular polish in a very similar color that would last longer. She was friendly, very attentive to detail, and the hand massage was wonderful. The salon is also adorable and very relaxing! My only complaint is that you definitely have to call ahead to make an appointment or to make sure that they're free because they're quite busy, but that's just another testament to how good they are! Will definitely be my new go-to place for nails in Pittsburgh.
