Curly girls, you must give Misti a try. My hair is a difficult, ill-tempered, moody, messy, coarse, dry as a desert, high- maintenance frizz ball I have been dealing with for decades. I once had a stylist tell me he had seen dogs with better hair. True story. It’s difficult for me to deal with my hair, much less someone who is a stranger to it that probably was inspired to become a hairstylist because they combed Rapunzel’s perfect locks growing up…only to find my “messy mound of granddaddy long-legs” (mom’s nickname for my hair) sitting in their chair looking half crazy and begging for someone to just give them a hair transplant already. I showed up on Misti’s doorstep after my beloved hairstylist, I drove an hour for, got out of the business and then I got yet another bad razor cut from a stylist who didn’t understand my hair . After the other stylist butchered my hair, I exited the building looking like Jennifer Anniston’s highly layered cut from the 90’s but without the charm and appeal or the right decade and a whole lot of frizz that nearly reached heaven but looked like the bad place. It was not what I asked for or what I wanted. I did my research when it came time to fix my momdoo, and miraculously stumbled upon Misti. Misti has tutorials on YouTube for women just like me. (Maybe unicorns do exist…) My first appointment with Misti was over 2 hours for a haircut but I left there with a plan and hope and reassurance I could fall in love with my hair. We didn’t have to get the hair clippers out and break up with my hair entirely and head for the wig shop. Crisis averted. I have now seen Misti twice and been taking her advice and my hair is turning around. It feels amazing. It is growing back from thinning and even though she can’t fix everything, like gas prices and cost of groceries, she can give a good neck and head massage and educate you on your curly hair… and then some. If you want a momdoo and a quick cut go down the road to Great Clips and cry all the way home or if you want to do something good for your hair and yourself get someone who is passionate about what they do and truly enjoys helping people. Give Misti a try. She is worth every penny.

I have been a loyal client of Misti’s for 7-8 years and everything about visiting her is exceptional. The consult before the cut, the shampoo, the cut, communicating between appointments, all of it is top notch service and expertise. She has never given me a bad cut and each visit is better than the last. I look forward to seeing her every month and cannot imagine having anyone else cut my hair (which I have when I moved out of state and no one can compare - truly everything about the experience she offers is superior). The bottom line is that Misti is a diva who slays, and hunty? That’s fierce.

Misti has and will always do my hair! It's curly and crazy and she knows exactly how to style it, cut it, and color it to fit my face shape. I drive from Alabama to Georgia because nobody else will touch my hair! I can go to Misti and say "Just do whatever" and it's always perfect! 😍

I can't speak highly enough about the work Misti did on our hair.the years my mother and I spent going to Misti for our hair cuts and color. We've only stopped because we've both moved across the country, and we miss her services greatly! My mother lived in Newnan until recently and visited Misti for regular cut and color, and although I lived out of town, I would often wait as long as I could between services so I could visit Misti for my cuts, styling, and highlights when possible. Not only is she a wonderful person to talk to (and I generally hate chatting while getting my hair done!), but I was happy with the results every time I visited her salon. She's a VERY talented colorist, but she also understands that hair looks good when it's healthy, and she gave me some of the best product and hair care advice i've ever gotten from a stylist, and I don't mean just pushing product on me (she told me things NOT to buy, as well as suggestions of what worked for my hair). I HIGHLY recommend Misti as a professional and person worthy of your money and to trust your hair to!

Misti is the most experienced stylist I have ever found! Her exceptional knowledge of hair color, hair restoration and hair care is remarkable. I have been a client of hers for over a year and couldn't imagine finding someone more professional or attentive to every detail. Her salon provides a great historic ambience and always has the most relaxing music with candles burning. If you're looking for a stylist that teaches, works toward achieving your hair goals, and gives you individualized care so you feel AMAZING....you have found your girl!! I have family and friends that literally drive 3.5 hours (one way) to get this level of care that I'm blessed to have in Newnan. She is one of a kind and you won't be disappointed. If there were a 10 STAR rating, she would get it :)

Hair styling was adequate but expensive for what I received. If you're in a hurry look elsewhere, you'll spend at least an hour in the chair.

Misti does a fine job as long as she is able to do her vision and not yours. If you want a certain thing, she will not be able to comply.

Misti is AWESOME! She never fails to impress. I used to have major anxiety when it came to getting my hair cut or colored (Red, Auburn), but since I started coming to Misti, that’s all in the past. Misti listens to her clients wants, needs and desires and translates it into HAIR MAGIC! Not only does she provide outstanding service, she teaches her clients how to style their hair post cut/color and helps them achieve that salon perfect look at home. For those guys out there that are looking for a stylist—Misti is your gal! She cuts my husband’s hair, and regardless of the style, trendy or traditional, he always come out looking amazing! Seriously, I can’t compliment her enough and recommend her 100%!!!!

Such a great experience! I was really blown away by Misti's ability to cut curly hair - I don't think I've had a better haircut in 43 years. She also did a fabulous job coloring my resistant gray hair, which is no small task.
