I’ve been getting my facials at Mitchell & Co and I am beyond satisfied with my results. Connie has worked on my face twice in the last month 1/2 and the facials have helped my acne A LOT! She is very gentle and efficient. She asks all the right questions and recommended products I may need to help with my concerns. I have an upcoming appointment and I’m very excited to get my facial by Connie!

Recently moved to the area. Found this little gem of a salon while walking in our neighborhood. Can’t say enough about my experience… From ease of initial booking online to a professional and detailed oriented haircut by Rachel ( who is super personable and easy to chat with) to a seamless checkout. This place is super cute inside too! AND they carry my favorite hair products-Oribe. Looking forward to my hair color soon😊

Overall, it was great experience! Leo was very kind and patient! I had a vague idea of what I wanted and he was able to see the vision and execute it. My balayage and haircut turned out perfect!

UPDATE: The owner of the salon called me to apologize for my experience after I wrote this review. She was able to explain the mistake of the stylist and let me know that she (and the stylist) both felt incredibly bad about what happened. I believe she was genuine and that what happened was a one-time mistake, and does not reflect the overall quality of the salon. It's unfortunate that it happened to me but at the end of the day it's just hair and it grows back. If you are looking at this photo you can see how terrible my experience was with Mitchell & Co. I have gone 3 times, but nothing compares to the haircut I received on my third visit. I asked for a trim of 1-2 inches and NO layers, just straight across with a few face framing pieces. Extremely simple request. The cut itself was fine; the problem came at the end when my stylist was thinning my hair (as I have pretty thick hair). As she was thinning it, she accidentally chopped a few pieces short in the back. (First photo) I didn't notice until I got home and examined closer, (cried), and called back to complain. I returned to the salon that afternoon so a different stylist could attempt to fix her mistake. The new stylist ended up giving me layers in the back to hide the pieces, but it has left me with a uneven chop and was not what I asked for. (Second photo) My original stylist did not realize she had made the mistake during my appointment. I would have felt much better if she saw it in the moment and tried to fix it when I was in for my original appointment. But she said nothing. The new stylist was nice about it when I came back, but I didn't receive any refund offer or discount for what happened on that day. I am usually not the type of person to leave a bad review like this (and I mean no harm in doing so) but I wanted to share my experience, even if it was a one-time mistake. This photo speaks for itself. It has been 3 months since the haircut and unfortunately I am still frustrated with the uneven style and the short pieces that don't seem to be growing back.

I came here and got a cut and color. I asked for balayage and showed the attached picture. I ended up with what I think is a partial highlight and was charged for a balayage. I am just disappointed because I paid $312 total for a simple haircut, partial highlight and tip. I’ve had balayage done for the past 15 years and this definitely was not a balayage and looks nothing like the inspiration picture I showed. I don’t think it looked bad which is why I’m giving 3 stars I just don’t feel I should have been charged for a service I didn’t receive. I did try to vocalize that this wasn’t the result I expected and I was told I didn’t understand the true meaning of balayage which also didn’t feel great. I really hope this was an isolated incident cause this seems like a great salon from the other reviews but I will not be going back.

Shout out to Pamela, who I’ve been using for the last 2 years. She consistently gives me incredible cuts and she is personable and so easy to talk to. I’ve used her for long and medium length cuts for my fine, straight hair. She helps me switch things up with my styling when I want and I always walk out feeling fabulous. I’m moving from the city soon, so it won’t be as convenient to use her but you better believe if I can make our schedules work, I’ll be booking with her!

Connie is amazing! I’ve been coming to her for years! Mitchell & Co is a comfortable, bright salon, however only go there for Connie for any of my skin needs - love the Hydrafacial and other specific facials I receive. She listens to my concerns that I have with my skin and gets to work. I’m always leaving refreshed and so pleased with how I look and feel. Thanks Connie!

I shave my head these days but OMG Kiona consistently gave me the best haircuts of my life, and she was so fun and cool to hang out with. She’s worth the wait it takes to get an appointment!!! Love that they used Oribe and R+Co products.

I simply love this place! Have been going to Kiona for blonde balyage (with cuts from several others and spray tans as well) and it is an A+ experience all around. From the products used, music, amazing staff, good vibes and of course the expert hairstylists, you cannot go wrong here.

I’ve used Mitchell & Co a few times now and what they’ve proved to me is they’re consistent, reliable, incredibly talented, and experts at delivering exactly what their clients want. I feel very confident whenever I leave with a new cut :) I’ve recommended them to several of my friends and they’ve also left happy. My favorite stylist is Kiona but I also got a cut from Andreana last time and she was super sweet and turned an awful cut from another place into something I really love. Also they are super communicative and try their best to squeeze you in or put you on a waitlist if needed!! Really can’t say anything but good things about this place 💛

I always feel special and welcome as soon as I walk in the door at Mitchell & Co. Rachel is a top notch stylist and I always have an amazing hair style. The vibe there is both very urban professional yet at the same time you are right at home in a neighborhood salon. I love it!

This was first appointment and Bobbi nailed it! My color is perfect (and I'm really particular about my blonde!) and she fixed what was a not so great cut that I had gotten at a previous salon. So happy that I made the switch to Mitchell & Co. Everyone was friendly and it was a really nice atmosphere. Can't wait to go back!

I moved to the the neighborhood recently and needed a new stylist. With so many rave reviews I needed to check it out. Beautiful space. Everyone is kind and friendly. Rachel gave me a haircut. She's sweet and personable. I wanted layers and curtain bangs and I couldn't be happier with the way my hair turned out. Will be back!
