Everyone was helpful. The Executive Facial was divine. the parking garage however, is not labeled very well so the elevator that goes to the salon is hard to find.

I have only been here twice so far but each time has taken me throughout a spiritual journey, it breathes new life into me every time I step into the relaxation lounge im instantly transported to calm serinity. Also want to give a shoutout to Hope and Maggie they were the ladies who took care of me and made sure I was comfortable every step of the way definitely coming back!!!!

First, the good: If you need a PHENOMENAL Esthetician, book with TAMELA! I've gone to her for several Brazilian waxes. They are the best I've ever experienced! UPDATE on the situation mentioned below: After speaking with the managers at this location, I received a heart felt apology. They worked with me and offered a solution that we both agreed upon. I was able to give them another try. Even though I did not try another “buff and tan “ service, I was thankful that I was given the opportunity for them to regain my trust and my business. I appreciate how they handled the situation. :) Next, the bad: PLEASE DO NOT go to Manisha for any spa service. I had a buff and tan done by her last year. It was terrible. It was streaky and only lasted about a day, even with following all the instructions. I ended up getting a credit from Mitchell's Salon for that experience. I went back, thinking I was getting someone else to do a Brazilian Wax. There must've been some kind of miscommunication because when I heard my name called, I looked up and it was her. I was going to give it a try, thinking that things may have changed in a year. The Brazilian wax that I received from her was AWFUL. I've had enough waxing services in my life to know what's acceptable and what's not. My main concern is that she kept waxing the same few spots in my genital area over and over. I know you are not supposed to do that. In an effort to get her to stop, I told her it was ok if all the hair wasn't gone and asked her to go on to the next area. She refused and kept waxing the same spot. She did this in about 4 areas, waxing the same area about 4 times. A few days later, my skin was so traumatized that I got what's called Skin Lifting. It was terrible, painful, itchy and embarrassing. It took almost 2 weeks of ointments and special care for my skin to return to normal. Not to mention I was getting a Brazilian to go on a trip to the Bahamas. It did not work out as planned and I did not have the experience I wanted on my trip. :(

I've experienced many great years of services at this location, but when I was charged over $600 (counting my 20% tip) and literally took 6 hours for salon services (cut and highlights) with Linda I decided I'm done. Most of that time was spent sitting and waiting on her to do others hair. Even worse, I had to get corrective color from another salon and was only charged $80 and took 2 hours. I learned an expensive lesson. This is not the place it used to be.

Mitchell's in Kenwood (behind Kenwood Towne Center) always takes great care of me. From the second I walk in - the easy Check In Station. I rarely have to wait for more than a couple minutes. Krista Rothert has been cutting my hair for 3 years now. She's great. Professional. Skilled. Fast. The staff when I check out is professional and courteous and efficient. And... I really appreciate the snowy ice and complimentary beverages off the lobby waiting area. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Zoey is amazing! I’ve never had a cut, color, or style that looked this great. I wanted to cover my grays as naturally as possible and provided a picture of an idea for a haircut. I left the coloring choices in her hands and trusted she’d personalize the cut to fit my hair/face/length. It’s absolutely gorgeous!! I have very thick long hair with natural waves. Yesterday was the first time I’ve worn it down all day without it feeling so heavy or flat. Seriously cannot say enough about this experience. Zoey’s a Rockstar! She’s so much fun to talk with and listed to. Loved everything about this last visit! Thank you so much!!! For anyone who has ever been made to feel their hair was a challenge, chore or felt rushed out because of time, I can’t recommend Zoey enough. Do the free initial consultation. I am an Asian with coarse black hair but mine is wavy not straight. It’s tricky to find a hairdresser who can properly cut my hair in a layer I like. Linda has been cutting my hair over 20 years and always deliver what I ask and more. I am actually afraid who I can to if she ever retires from her position! I went back to her after trying to find someone around the pandemic as well and also do not mind the rise of cost as she has very limited availability.

Today I had the Oxygen Treatment facial at the Kenwood location. Every employee that I talked to was very professional, helpful and friendly. I booked with Maggie ( esthetician )and she was absolutely Amazing! Honestly I can't find the right words to describe how happy and pleased I am with the experience! I am absolutely looking forward to booking with Maggie again very soon. Thank you❣️
