I had my nails and lashes done a year ago. Nails cost $80 and lashes (classic) was $100. I came back today 10/12/2024 to get the same classic lashes and nails done and added a pedicure and was charged $400 for something that wasn’t even close to being as good as my first experience! I was charged $200 for this lashes!! And a $100 each for my hands and feet by Calandra Lamb Rhodes!. I tried to tell her to fix the coating on the nail with black painting and she said it’s just as the other nail, the black design just makes it look different. clearly not what the image shows. I can’t see without my glasses so I assumed the lashes were okay for at most $100 for classic lashes, only to be told it’s $200 and it’s already coming out. I added payment receipt as proof. I did this for my birthday and wedding anniversary coming up and now I don’t know how to fix it. My happiest days doesn’t seem happy to me anymore. I also added the images I showed to her for what I wanted so you can differentiate between what I wanted and what I got. I need a REFUND! Also, i think it’s best to set a specific cost for services so that no individual can overcharge. I’m not sure I’m ever going back there and I live in the building. MJ salon, please make sure to check the people you allow work in your salon...

Mia is my AMAZING nail technician! Service is impeccable. Regular mani/pedi and no chip available. But also there are 4 stylists who do fabulous hairstyles and an esthetician on site too

I used the salon for hair services. The service that I got did NOT match up to the price. I had a appointment with Jojo, but she intentionally did NOT tell me that she would have a "stylist named Tia servicing me in her place. iI made the appointment with Jojo and she could've told me that she was overbooked or was not taking any new clients. I asked for curls using the Marcell iron, but Tia actually used flat irons that did NOT seems to do much to hair. I do NOT think she knows how to use the marcell iron and instead of saying that she just used the flat iron anyways. Jojo had ample time to let me know that she was using another stylist for ma and I would have rescheduled. She was still doing 2 other heads when I arrived. It seems that she was subliminally trying to help Tia build her own clientele, but you cannot help someone build a clientele with a person that made an appt with you. i do NOT AND would NOT recommend the salon service.

Great experience. Jojo (my hair) and Mia (my nails) are fabulous. Tracy, Courtney, and Stephen are great stylists also. Lia is your girl for any type of braids.

Just got my pedicure and manicure done by TONYA LOU love love love it! She took her time massaged and all! Her service is amazing and the atmosphere is great! 💕

Got my nails and lashes done absolutely love nails Mia does wonderful job and Jordan’s does lashes first time and love them. Staff is so friendly always enjoy going there.

This salon is a very welcoming and friendly environment. Posh decor & comfortable shampoo bowls. Courtney, The SupaStar Stylist slays short hair! He is a master of short styling, cutz & color! He will you acting Brand Nu! I cannot say enough compliments about his work or the comforts this salon.

I love their service. I was lucky to get a drop in the day I went, but they usually go by appointment. I got my pedicure done by Mia, and as someone who has never done a pedicure in their life, this experience was life changing. Mia was gentle, kind, and supportive, and did an excellent job. I recommend their services to anyone.

I go to Gina Hill there and have been seeing her on and off for 25 years. I keep trying to leave her and find another stylist because I live way out in the suburbs, but Gina does such a great job (whether it's getting color or getting a cut or getting a roller set, I've found that no one else does a better job - trust me I've tried. So I continue to come back. I guess I'll follow you to the moon Gina. Ha!

Jojo, Mia and Kizzie are AMAZING!! Called in 2 weeks before Labor Day because I was flying in for a wedding and they gladly fit me in to their schedule even though they didn't know me or who I was flying in from out of state. They took care of me like I was a long time client, leaving no stone unturned and making sure all my needs were met. This place has such good people and good energy, I wish I could have them be my salon back home in Cali. Whether in Chicago or flying from out of state - do yourself a favor and check them out. Truly wonderful people with amazing energy.
