I got introduced to Mylissa the owner and stylist, colorist, etc, of MLG Salon through my sis in law that has been going to her for years! I am so happy that we got connected! ❤️ Mylissa is amazing at her craft and you can tell that she is passionate and very experienced!! You will absolutely love her! Her salon is super cute and so nicely decorated, so while there you’ll love the chill atmosphere/vibes she’s created. She is super motivated and pursues higher education so that she stays on top of the newest techniques to better serve her clientele 🙌 One of them was done for me yesterday and I love it! Your appointment will feel as though you’re visiting with an old friend while being pampered! She knows what works and what doesn’t, she’s super personable, hard working, funny, and makes you feel at home ❤️ You will be well attended to when you’re there for an appointment. I’ve been getting my hair done here for years! Now I can get a spray tan at my favorite place by my favorite person! Spray tans never last long on me so I usually don’t bother. However Mylissa is magic because not only does my tan look natural and amazing, it’s lasting longer than usual. So worth it! Definitely would recommend MLG Salon for a spray tan!

Mylissa has cut and colored my hair in the past, and I recently went to her for a couple bridal services. She did a phenomenal job at creating the looks I wanted! The owner and operator of MLG Salon is the woman who will be doing your hair. Not only is Mylissa an amazing stylist, colorist, and makeup artist, she is a kind and caring person. You will feel like family. Her sister, Candace is also a available for eyebrows and eyelash services. Who knew that going to the salon would be so much fun and something I look forward to each and every time? Love this place. Love these two! 💜

I have been to MLG salon twice now and I cannot say enough good things about Melissa and her talent! She is amazing and so good at what she does. Highly recommend her to anyone!! Love my hair and love my color and it looks so natural which is important to me. Love her salon and the personal service you receive! You feel so pampered and it’s a very comfortable environment. Melissa is not only a talented stylist but a wonderful warm person too!

Went to MLG for the first time and what a lovely person she is however, she is a Master in her craft. She did an outstanding hair cut . I do have extremely straight hair that is not easy to cut. She is an 11 out of 10. Thank you so much!

Super cut and color! My color has great dimension and the cut is fabulous. Perfect layers to bring out my natural waves and air dry to perfection. I was so happy the next day that I sent her a text immediately. Mylissa is super focused at giving you the best cut and color to compliment your face/complexion/style and she is sooo easy to talk to. I love going here so much that I started bringing my boys (ages 16, 14, and 12) to her for cuts, too. After their first cuts, they requested to keep going back - think that says enough! Thank you Mylissa and please don't ever leave the neighborhood!!

Mylissa is fantastic. MLG is unbelievable I had such a enjoyable comfortable experience. Mylissa cut and colored my hair styled it beautifully. We recently met and LOVED Mylissa Genaro! She's right at Touhy/Harlem with easy on-street parking. She's a small business owner and takes COVID precautions and social distancing seriously. She's pleasant, listens and SOOO EASY TO LOVE! Bummed that we have to wait so long to see her next for our next cut! She was awesome with my 8-year old. The woman who she worked on prior to me drives from PEORIA for each cut/color. It was the most beautiful winter blonde I've ever seen! Beautiful cut and color all around!

I’ve been hearing for years to go to Mylissa for my hair. What lead me to this talented hairdresser today, was my previous hair dresser. I went to my old hair dresser to get a color and she completely botched my hair. Mylissa showed up and showed out. I am forever a faithful client to Mylissa. She fixed me perfectly.
