It has been a year since I had my hair cut by JIA every two months. The results are perfect every time, and if for any reason I don't like the cut, I always tell her and have her correct it. I am Japanese and have a unique hair type, so JIA, who is also Asian, is well versed in our hair type and consistently gives us a great cut every time. When I go grocery shopping after getting my hair cut, I am greeted by women passing by at least once. The other staff members besides JIA are also very friendly and greet me when I enter the store. Thank you as always.

I just received a hi/low light service without a cut yesterday afternoon. Molson recommended the add-on toner service, as well. I was nervous and expressed my concern that my hair looked too dark, before and after my blowout, but I was assured it would fade. After arriving home, my husband, best friend, and I realized the color was way off. My hair was very blonde before my appointment, but I just requested a little more hi light/low-light weaving. I brought in two pictures so that my request would be clear to Molson. I realize that sometimes just verbally describing what someone wants can be misinterpreted. My hair was now dark brown! I contacted the salon the first thing the next morning and they scheduled me to come back in for a correction with Molson at 12:30. Molson was very nice, and agreed the color of my hair…compared with the pictures that I had shown him before my service, was much darker. In reality, It really wasn’t even close! He offered several excuses, one of which was the toner, and assured me he would correct it. He had done my hair many times and I had never had an issue at all. After he hi-lighted some of my hair on the top layer, I was shampooed, and then I was told by his assistants that I would have to pay for my hair to be blown out. I explained that I was in the salon the day before (3hrs) and I had payed $350., which included a charge for my blowout yesterday. I was ONLY back at the salon for an additional 1 &1/2 hours because my hair didn’t even resemble the pictures that I had brought in the day before. They again said I would have to pay. The color correction didn’t include a blow-out. 😳😳 I refused to pay a second time for a blow dry that I paid for the day before! I left the salon with wet hair. I have been going to top salons for 40 years. I have had very few instances where I had to get a correction, but when I did, of course my hair was blown out so that the stylist… and myself, could see that the issue was corrected and that I… the CUSTOMER was happy. Molson just continued working on the customer beside me during the ridiculous blow dry conversation with his assistants. He didn’t say a word! He was the one who had told them not to include a blow dry. Molson is one of the owners of the salon. What a terrible business decision!! Outrageous!! I can’t say enough nice things about Mo2salon! I have been coming here for several years and always get exactly what I was hoping for. My oldest daughter has started to get her hair cut here too and says it’s the best she’s ever had.

I recently visited Mo2 salon and had an exceptional experience with Brissa, their junior stylist. From the moment I walked in the atmosphere was welcoming and stylish, you can tell they're very clean. Brissa took the time to understand exactly what I wanted offering expert advice and suggestions tailored to my hair type and personal style. She’s an expert at color, blowouts and curls! Did an outstanding job!! The products used were high-quality, leaving my hair feeling healthier than it has in years. Is it possible to give negative stars? AWFUL HAIRCUT. I had long wavy hair, showed pictures of a trimmed up version I would have liked to receive. Simple. I received a BUTCHERS work. It was SO short and uneven. I was embarrassed to even walk out. I went back in twice after walking out the door before I even left the premises after my appointment. My hair was COMPLETELY UNEVEN. The first time I went back in a lady came up to me with her scissors while standing in the waiting area and CHOPPED the uneven piece I held out. Then she sent me on my way. I went back to my car and looked in my mirror and was so upset I went back in. Then she sat me down and continued to take MORE off. I went home and showered to do it myself. And the pictures below is what I have now. I asked for my money back as I had to go somewhere else and pay to get it fixed. They wouldn’t. So I disputed the charge. And they told the credit card company I received their services. I didn’t receive anything other than low self esteem and a $80 hole in my pocket. DO NOT GO HERE. In response to the managers response - why should I have to go back to the same people that couldn’t fix it before I left? That’s insane. I went back in twice. You had your chance to fix it and still couldn’t do it. I don’t want to come back to you all and shouldn’t have to. Your lack of empathy and customer service is so horrible.

Molouk and Mohsen are both excellent at hair coloring and also haircut and styling ! They have an amazing way of balancing your desired look with keeping the health of your hair in focus. Molouk has been coloring my hair for a couple of years now. I get all-over color with a gloss. She does a great job and is very pleasant ! Best styling I have ever had.

STAY AWAY!!! I paid over $350 for two family members to have their hair colored. Neither got anything close to what they asked for. When talking with Moran, the co-owner, he only offered to redo the coloring with the same stylists. Sorry, you do not get a second chance and possibly cause further damage. Masan was not open to any other solution such as a different stylist or partial refund. He was extremely rude, smug, and ultimately hung up on me. Addressing the response…as I stated, the attempt to resolve my concern was with the same stylists. A different stylist was not offered. A refund was refused. You can’t hang up on customers and then go on a public review claim that you attempted to resolve the issue. I want everyone to know the truth so they do not have the same horrible experience. Stop with the lies to cover up your poor service and poor decisions. Shame on you.

This is by far the best salon with the best stylists in Charlotte. Maluk, Mohsen, and Alex are all amazing, and I get compliments from our customers for days each time I go for a service. I get color, a haircut, and I do a Brazilian Blowout. The entire team is extremely well trained. Always a great experience.

The salon has been my salon for the past 7 years since I moved here from Florida. Molouk the owner is wonderful at what she does it is amazing to watch the art form in which she possesses with my hair. They are always very kind and very accommodating and very professional I am very happy that they use the Davines product that I have used in the past they are truly wonderful. If you're looking for a salon that pays attention to detail with reasonable prices and professionalism that I highly recommend to Salon.

I booked an appointment for a partial balayage for me, and honey blonde highlights for my sister. We left with something completely different than what we asked for and after requesting a fix or a refund, they informed us we could only have it fixed by the same stylists who were incapable of doing their jobs to begin with. I am still a minor, so Stylist Moshan requested to speak to my mother and was shouting over her, eventually hanging up when she asked him to stop interrupting. He was extremely disrespectful from the beginning and refused to listen without talking over her. He claimed that he saw nothing wrong with my hair or my sisters hair. After she attempted to call back, they never answered. The first photo is what my sister requested. The last two are what she got. She left in tears. The photo of me in the salon chair is the before, and the other one is the after. I would give 0 stars if I could.

I had to pay a lot of money to get something done when it looked nothing like the photo i showed them. It was not a good experience. My hair was not at all how I asked. Not only that- but the dye job is bad too. The first photo is what i asked for- the three last ones are what i got. My stylist asked me specifically if i wanted the color of my old highlights and i said “no- darker please.” and he repeated back to me “okay darker.” Now I am left with an even lighter color. I wouldn’t be as mad if it look okay too- though it’s not what I asked for. But it’s obviously rushed and done poorly. He didn’t even dye the ends- he just folded them up in the tin foil. We called the salon and they refused a refund and even shouted at my mother. They told us we couldn’t go in to get it fixed unless we deleted the review and even had the same stylist. They were very rude- lied about me- and even replied to my old review saying “they didn’t see the problem”. Just look at it… im going to get it fixed at a different salon since they said i had to use the same stylist. My sister was also very unhappy. They said i left with a smile however all I left with was bad memories and hair damage- and for some reason i paid for that.

Am a northeast transplant and have been using this salon now for one year to get my 'Swedish Blonde' color. Would not have continued if the experience were consistently bad. I normally give a place three tries as it is almost impossible to get things perfect on the first go - think of it as a first draft of a document with edits as you review and go along. Mohsen is a fine stylist and has an excellent intellect as well. This place is upper price range but worth it.

Very disappointed with the results. I got highlights here with the “master “ hair colorist. I asked for a blonde highlight and got white highlights instead also fried my hair and turned out yellow and white tones which I was most afraid of getting! What is interesting is they never used toner after highlighting my hair probably why it turned out the way it did yellow and white tones. Broke all my curls and wasted almost $200 to damage my hair even more. Never going back.
