I have wanted to go to a scalp spa for so long, and finally convinced my mom to go with me. She’s had never done anything like this before, and at the end she wanted to know how to book a monthly appointment 😂 the ladies were sweet, amazing at the services, and great price! Highly recommend, and will definitely be back. Quyn and I believe Hannah did our massages, and highly recommend them!

This was my first Korean scalp and facial spa experience, and it was amazing. I had Heidi as my specialist and she was very attentive, gentle, and thorough. I felt relaxed and beautiful at the end of my experience. I will be coming back for sure!!

We had such a lovely experience there today. Kelly was so kind and got my friend and I in early for the 90 minute scalp service. It was amazing - facial, massage, and head spa. My hair has never felt so clean and soft. Thank you Kelly for squeezing us in today!

Best COVID conscious spa service ever! Kelly was willing to come in before normal hours, wear an N95 mask and let me bring in an air purifier, and didn't make me feel weird about it at all. I got a deluxe treatment that included a scalp treatment, massage and facial. It was amazing, I was able to adjust the pressure of the massage, choose the scent, and Kelly was the perfect mix of friendly but not overly chatty. I had an amazing time, and left feeling completely refreshed. My hair was silky smooth, my skin glowed and I was totally relaxed. It was a fantastic price, too.

I had the MOST amazing experience scalp treatment here. Heidy went above and beyond, always asking if I’m okay and telling me to let her know if I need more or less pressure. The salon itself was clean and cozy. I almost didn’t book because of a previous review, and to be honest I almost want to write a response to it and call out some false claims.. but all I can say is I literally text all my friends in the group chat right after leaving saying the following: “Okay PDX girlies. I just treated myself to a post Xmas spa thing because last night I watched a bunch of TikTok’s about head spas and scalp treatments I went to MOC Beauty off of 82nd and did the 90 min scalp massage and treatment with Heidy. She ended up working on me for 2 hours. You get a scalp massage/hair wash/body massage/mini facial Then afterwards she meets you with a hot cup of tea and blow dries your hair. This was no joke, the BEST treatment ive ever had. Nothing fancy but literally never felt anything so good. PLEASE give them business if you wanna treat yourself because I’ll be dreaming of this forever.”

Love this place! Unique experience with kind staff. They took their time and were caring towards me and my friend. We were able to book the same treatment and be in the same room during it, so that was fun to experience together! I had Nikki and highly recommend her!

Wow that was truly the most incredible treatment I’ve ever had! From the amazing scalp treatment, to the facial, to the massage on your arms shoulders and legs/feet… it was so relaxing and worth every penny. Heidy was amazing and did such a nice job! Can’t wait to come back. Thank you!

My sister's gifted me a scalp treatment here for my birthday not too long ago. Having been to another location across the bridge, I was so excited to try this place out. I was extremely disappointed and left in actual pain. I'd give a 1 star, but I'm giving my breakdown: THE PROS: Everyone was super nice, the place was clean and modern, I got some warm tea to sip on at the very end when I got my hair blow dried. While I was getting my spa treatment, there was somene else getting treatment from what im assuming is an american spa therapist (she spoke without an accent). THE OKAYS: The hair spa room is extremely tiny, the beds are probably 3 feet apart but do have a curtain between them. Some of the people working there actually speak good English (some are Asians that dont). THE CONS: I got the sweetest pregnant Asian lady (and that's were the good ends) who's English is really really bad. Not only she spoke with a horrible accent, to the point where I didn't understand anything she was trying to say, the only reason I was able to guess what she was trying to say, was because the American spa therapist had a client who started maybe 10 minutes before me and because the room is so tiny and everyone is so close, you hear everything and I was able to hear everything she was saying to her client. The fact that I couldn't understand her was only a small part of the problem. The main issue i had was that I have extremely sensitive scalp. No I can't do anything about it. Every time i got my hair done with anyone, everyone says I'm the most sensitive person they've met. I wrote that on the "intake form". I mentioned it to the therapist multiple times during the session asking her to ease up, she would for a minite and then go back to scrubbing my head as if shes cleaning her toilet. At the end of the 90 minute session I came out feeling literally beat up. I couldn't let anyone touch my head for about 2 weeks after that it was that bad. It was literally an overpriced Asian massage that you can get at any of the cheap Asian massage parlors where the people who give you the massages have no clue what they're doing. As if this was not enough, when I came out and either the manager, owner or lead person that day asked me how my session went, and I told her that the therapist kept going too hard on my head, she said that I should've told her. I did. I told her multiple times. I'm a massage therapist, I've been one for over 13 years. I know when to let them know that it's too much pressure. I know how a good session should go, I know what is supposed to happen when a client complains of too much pressure multiple times during the session. My comment was basically nicely ignored by who ever asked me that. I left feeling like she wanted to blame me for her "therapist" doing a horrible job. Now this is my personal experience. I will never ever again go there. But I'm not sure how the other spa therapists are over there, maybe they're great, but I'm not paying around $200 to get beat up and instead of feeling relaxed, leave in pain. I'd much rather go to someone who actually can speak English and listens to my requests.

No issues here! My wife and I had an appointment and it did not disappoint. I was not sure what to expect as I have never had something like done, but I would definitely come back. The process was easy and the room was quaint. The ambiance in the room was very relaxing and it was an overall good experience. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Scalp treatment and mini facial was amazing. I recommend going in without makeup on because there’s a period where there’s water dribbling over your face. I’m explaining it badly but it was so relaxing and felt like I was in a bathhouse. The scalp massage and just having your head scratched for a while was just sublime. My hair was so clean afterwards and they blow dried it and oiled the ends. Incredible. It’s exactly like the ones you’ve been seeing on TikTok!

Don’t waste your money and time. Unlicensed, untrained, I had to ask her to use warm water to wash my hair. This is not a real treatment. Unsafe neighborhood, no parking. It’s in the back of a house- way overpriced for what it is. Girls were nice but very inexperienced.

Great experience at this place! I highly recommend the scalp and facial package. Vivian was my tech and she has magic hands! The place is small but very clean. Only downside is you’re not alone, the room has two other guests and technicians. BUT! It’s a great idea if you want to come in with a friend. Pamper yourself ladies!

I booked a head spa experience a little bit ago and had QUITE the experience. When I got there, I walked in and had already booked my appointment, however they kept asking me what I’d like - but I had already booked what I’d like. Then they brought me to the back “bedroom” as this is in a house, and it felt a bit odd. I walked in and the room where the head spa is is TIGHT. It’s two small beds right next to each other with a lot of other “stuff” around. I wasn’t sure if someone else would be in there as well with me, or how the appointment would go. Once I got comfortable they started the appointment which was supposed to be a head spa and a mini facial. The head spa was ROUGH. Not comfortable at all! When the mini facial came, the lady started using THE SAME WATER that she had washed my hair in! And then put a face mask on me (the ones you buy at the store). When I finished and got dressed, I had mascara all down my face, and didn’t want her to dry my hair as I have such curly hair in general, and feel so uncomfortable the entire time. I also want to mention through my appointment, 3 separate times someone kept coming into the room, rummaging around. This was such a horrible experience! I wanted to love it but honestly I was traumatized. Would avoid this if possible!

Incredible experience! Everyone is so sweet. I got the scalp massage and the room was so relaxing, dim with light music, and Heidi was my masseur, she was fantastic and has magic hands! Highly recommend!

A friend and I did the scalp and soul treatment to celebrate our birthdays and a mom’s weekend. The staff are welcoming and kind. The interior is bright and comfortable. The service was luxury. A head treatment, massage, facial and blow dry. The prices are exceptional for the treatment. We will be back The exterior and street had us concerned (all the things you hear about safety in Portland). Our car was fine on the street. Give this place a shot!

Exceeded my expectations, which were pretty high. The environment and the service are really lovely, they've paid attention to little details that a chain or larger shop would skip over. They also paid careful attention to my allergies. I felt very cared for and 100% am adding Moc Beauty to my health and wellness regimen.
