I just called this place 10 times in 20 minutes to try and make an appointment and no answer. They obviously don’t want or care for the business.

Blanca is amazing she is super friendly and kind. She's bilingual speaks both Spanish and English. She works hard to give you the look you're looking for. Blanca has years of experience and her prices are reasonable. I have natural brown hair with a few grey's on top I had her do my roots and she added pretty white and golden blonde highlights all over. This is my second time going to see Blanca and she always slays!!! So excited to find this little gem. Customers can look forward to great parking there's a parking lot also little to know wait time to be seen. She recommends products to make your hair healthy and beautiful. This was my second time going to Moda and I will be back every two months. Check out Moda for your hair needs. There is another two stylists there as well.

I had a company search for hairdressers who could do my haircut and wax my neck with hard wax that's safe for me skin. This was part of my package to move here. Bianca not only did not use appropriate wax, she did not have the proper skill for my haircut. Not only that, but she talked to me about god and not believing that we come from monkeys and how it's "not my fault" that I don't believe in God due to my upbringing. Read the room lady! I came in with an LGBTQ+ backpack purse on, mentioned that I'm not religious, and she STILL continued after I said I wasn't comfortable with the conversation. She did not have a comfortable setup to wax my neck and ruined my skin. I will not be returning.

If you want patchy, cheap looking highlights go to Blanca. She gave me the absolute opposite of what I asked for. I wanted natural, well blended highlights that I even showed her pictures of. I said 1-2 shades lighter than my hair to make sure it’s just giving my brown hair definition and instead I got horrific ashy uneven highlights that aged me 30 years. When I asked her to fix it she charged me then turned my hair orange!! She even gave me attitude for fixing my hair and said she won’t give me what I asked for fully cause she doesn’t have time. With what I paid her for partial highlights and to fix it I could’ve went to an actual professional. Save your money for someone else.

Blanca and Luis have worked on my hair and they are THE BEST!! If you are looking for short hair or layers they are the best people. Also, this place is super cheap compared to lots of uptown salons.

Blanca is the best! We have been going to see Blanca for the past 23 years. I live in GA and I haven't found someone that can do my hair as well as her. I travel to NC to visit my family, so whenever I can I go to get my haircut and I bring my mom with me to get her highlights.

My hair was cutting so bad that it looks like I have a wig on top my head just wanted to have layers left with bad haircut. I left and come back and they didn’t fix it told me to wait till my hair was long enough then they will cut it again. Bad costumer service owner was really rude to me.

You can’t go wrong going here. I have been going to Luis and Adrian for close to 15 years. Even before they were at Moda Salon. I had a friend that tried bleaching her own hair, it should have broken of at the roots that is how bad it was but they all worked together to help salvage it with their expertise. I also won't let anyone style short haircuts other than, Luis or Adrian. I had gone to other salons before and the style have never been as precise and well done as my experience here. I stopped trusting anyone else to cut my hair. When my hair ends up long the only reason has been because of my busy life and not having the time to drive to that side of town. Thank you for your business !!

I came to Moda salon after getting a bad bleach job at another salon in town. I was really worried that they wouldn't be able to fix it because it was so patchy and poorly done. Blanca took care of me and I swear if I hadn't watched her with my own eyes I would have thought she performed magic. My hair is 1000 times better than when I came in and I'm actually super happy with it now. Although it wasn't the original style I had wanted (because the other salon had made that impossible, not through any fault of Moda) Blanca did my hair in a way that I can grow it to be how I wanted it and be happy with how I look in the interim. I will never go anywhere else in Charlotte for hair stylist anymore!

Barbara did such an amazing job cutting myself and my daughters hair! She did exactly what I envisioned for us both. My daughter had an excellent first haircut experience. Super nice and professional. I would definitely recommend!

The customer service is horrible. I originally went in to get a root touch up and highlights. Luis agreed to do my root touch up and Blanca agreed to do my highlights at SIGN IN. After Luis was done with my root touch up, Blanca decided she does not have time and tells me she will not do my hair. She was very rude, ignorant and done right unprofessional. I’m sure they are all great at what they do but when you agree to something and decide not to do it midway, that’s not okay, nor does it make you or the owner credible. I would give my last stylist two ⭐️ ⭐️ and she burned my hair!!! Disappointing.

A friend recommended me to come here and see Blanca almost 4 years ago. I have had a lot of bad experiences with hair salons due to having curly mixed textured hair. A lot of salons think curly hair is always thick and can handle a lot, which is not always the case. I come to Blanca for color and cuts, and she always knows how to treat my hair and make sure that whatever I ask or need, will be the best decisions for my hair. You know a hairstylist is good when they actually care about the treatment of your hair, and what you look like when you walk out. I have recommended Blanca to a good amount of friends because of the amazing experience she gives me every time I walk in. Aside from work, she is flexible and will try to accommodate times for you to come in; And their pricing is great and reasonable. Thanks Blanca for helping my hair grow and become the best it’s been in years ❤️

Blanca is very arrogant and does her work reluctantly causing her to chop half my hair shorter than wanted and proceeded to let me wait 30 minutes to go finish up another client when i had an appt. scheduled. Asked for a balayage and she continued to say she didn’t have time for that today when my appt. was scheduled for one. very unprofessional of her to say that. WILL NOT GO BACK EVER. do not recommended i would give 0 stars if i could

I have been going to Blanca and everyone else in this hair salon for years. Even before they were at Moda Salon. They always do a great job. I wrecked my hair once by trying to bleach it on my own, and it turned into the texture of bubble gum, it should have broken of at the roots, but they all worked together to help salvage it with their expertise and I managed to walk out with a cute bob versus the shoulder length hair I destroyed. I also won't let anyone style short haircuts other than anyone Blanca, Luis or his Son. When other hair dressers comment about how great your short cut looked, from other salons when I would go for a trim, I stopped trusting anyone else to cut my hair. My hair ends up long because I don't have time to drive to that side of town since I move to South Charlotte. :( Great haircuts.

I recommend Adrian he's knowledgeable and experienced. I came to Moda looking for help. I had long hair but it was damaged. It was cut too short and the layers were messed up. I was very skeptical but Adrian was very professional. He fixed my layers and I 'm so happy with how it looks now.

The only person I will let do anything to my hair is BLANCA! She’s done my hair for over 15 years. She’s experienced in anything from a simple haircut and blow out to highlights and balayage to keratin treatments. When my hair was damaged she brought it back to life with something called hair Botox and I am left so pleased with her services time and time again. She’s amazing! She’s even amazing with curly hair and even different textures of hair.
