Found Nicole through TikTok when I was looking for a place to cut my hair in the valley. She did an amazing job and really brought my hair back to life. It has so much more dimension and feels so healthy. I had a general idea of what I wanted, but I trusted her to cut the final length and with my face framing layers. Highly recommend Nicole!!

Felipe has been cutting my hair and my families hair for about 5 years. He is friendly and cuts perfectly. The location is perfect, located on Ventura Blvd in studio city. He takes walk-ins but you may need to wait a bit. Call him to reserve and don't for get to leave a tip. Also, the Mens cuts are only $20 before tip.

I get my hair cut by Filipe at Model Cuts. He’s been cutting hair for over 30 years and has mastered the craft. I have longer hair and it’s important to me to go to someone great since it takes such a long time for it to grow. You are in great hands with Filipe and you can’t be the low price for the amazing service!

I went last Sunday 1/21 and it was closed (although it said online that they were open). Okay, whatever. I booked an appointment for today 1/28, got multiple (automated) confirmation emails, went there at my designated apt time, and guess what, it was closed AGAIN. I tried calling and no one answered. I give up on trying to get a haircut here.

Nicole always slays! She’s the best at brunettes wanting to be blonder & perfecting a balayage that’ll grow out naturally. She takes great care of your hair and the process, never too much. Great products and tools used. Easy to schedule with. It took me forever to find someone after covid I trust and she’s hit the mark every time! I highly recommend her work.

Felipe is an artist who, instead of giving a "cookie cutter" haircut, can look at you and analyze the shape of your head and your features to give an excellent cut that fits you perfectly and is unique to your type. I highly recommend this salon. Also, he's a great guy.

It is a $10 hair cut, but now they charge you $20! The style was good. I did have to go home and cut some hair off around the ears that was missed. And he didn't take the 5 seconds to buzz the neck. For $20, I think I'll just pay the extra $5 or $10 to go to one of the fancier places.

I’ve been coming to modelcuts since 2018 to dye my hair and get it cut with Nicole and she always goes above and beyond my expectations.😊 She always leaves my hair looking flawless and look naturally blonde. If you’re looking to dye your hair blonde book an appointment with Nicole, she gives great advice and recommendations to keep your hair healthy and makes sure it doesn’t get damaged. The service is great, very friendly staff, and a clean. Also a very safe environment for getting your hair done during Covid-19.

5 stars! If i could add more stars, I would. Modelcuts has been my goto for years now. I’m super picky with where I go and who I let do my hair but Vicky and Nicole are absolutely fantastic at what they do. I love my hair every time and they do it just the way I like it. I feel like I’m getting pampered every time I’m there. The environment is amazing, extremely clean. Especially during these difficult covid times, they are following the CDC guidelines in an outstanding way by making sure to disinfect and clean everything thoroughly, social distancing and more. The place is spotless always and the staff is always so welcoming and nice. I love love love and recommend Modelcuts to everyone! Thank you so much Nicole, Vicky & staff. You guys are the best 😊

Absolutely in love with my new hair. I cannot stop starting at it!! Nicole was the sweetest and very attentive to exactly what I wanted and she definitely exceeded to say the least. She went above and beyond. As soon as I walked in they took my temperature and had hand sanitizer right at the door. I felt completely safe. I wore my mask the whole time as did she. Safety was very Important for them as it was for me. Can’t wait to come back!

I've been going to model cuts for a while in Reseda. I have recently move to the studio city and they told me about this salon. I had high expectations already from the Reseda model cuts and now this salon is just as good if not better! With covid going on they focus on safety and cleanliness! That doesn't stop them though from giving an amazing hair cut at a great price! I highly recommend them especially if money is tight durning this unfortunate time. They are my new go to!

Today was my first time going to Modelcuts and let me tell you they do not let you down! I came in with a horrific hair coloring that I thought there was no coming back from but these women worked there magic and WOW!!!! I’m still in shock with how GOOD Vicky and Nicole left my hair it exceeded my expectations. You get exactly what you ask for not to mention the service is 10/10 they are very attentive with there clients and make sure to enforce there COVID guidelines. They have hand sanitizer at the entrance and immediately as you walk in your temperature is taken , Knowing they take there safety and others seriously made me feel safe being there not to mention they also have you take a small survey before coming in regarding COVID Knowing that this small survey was in place made me feel that much safer .
