I’ve been coming to Madi Carter at Modish for almost a year now and my hair has never been healthier. I have struggled in the past getting my hair bleached and it breaking but Madi has saved my hair and gets me exactly how blonde I want to be while keeping my hair healthy. She is great at explaining everything and walking you through it all. I can actually say my hair is longer and healthier now than it ever has been. I highly recommend Madi to anyone!!

Absolutely horrible experience. Ruined my hair. See photo of my hair before vs after (pic 1 and 2) . For context, it took me 4 years to grow out my hair and keep it healthy (I have PCOS and it’s hard to grow my hair out). I went to Avvril & she did a fine job the first time around, refreshing my blonde. However, the second time, I asked to go brunette. My inspo pic was a dark chocolate brown, all over color. I left the salon with light brown hair that was severely tinted green (see pics 3 & 4- results vs what I asked for) I texted her asking her to fix it- speculating that she didn’t fill my hair. She agreed, and when I came back in she “fixed it” by overfilling it and making it way darker than I ever wanted. Essentially, covering up her most recent work with a darker color- not fixing it. As it faded over only 1.5 months, it faded to pic 2, brown roots, orange mid section, and frizzled/fried ends. I texted her only two weeks after she “fixed it” telling her it was fading unevenly and asking if we could do anything at that point. Her response was unprofessional, defensive, blaming my hair citing I was platinum (I was never platinum, see pic 1), and saying she will not do anything to it “for awhile” & that when she did, it would be charged full price. I reiterated that fixing it when she MADE IT GREEN was the LEAST she could’ve done. And that I don’t appreciate a refusal of work indefinitely after she ruined my hair. The stylist tried to claim that she gave me expectations, but she did not. She told me we could go brunette (knowing what I know now, you can’t simply dye bleached hair brown.) Setting expectations would’ve been telling me “sure, but it will need a refresh in 4 weeks or else it will fade orange.” Instead what she told me was that we could go brunette no problem and that it will fade, but it’ll fade back to what I had before. As you can see comparing pic 1 and 2 (before and after)- it did not fade back to what I had before. The stylist blamed me for her own poor quality of work, was defensive and unprofessional, and tried to gaslight me into saying she set expectations that she did not. Fast forward 2 months from her doing my hair, it is horrible. I’m humiliated by my hair. Not only did I waste $300 paying her to ruin my hair, but I just had to spend an additional $600 to fix what she ruined. And it still has residual orange tones that will take months longer to fade. Not to mention the 2 inches of hair I lost (that again, take me years to grow bc of PCOS) that I had to cut off due to damage. It’s going to take at least a year to get back to where I was with color, length, and health of my hair. Would absolutely under no circumstances recommend this stylist/salon both for quality of hair results, quality for money, and professionalism.

I sadly loved this salon at first, until my appointment was cancelled due to a misunderstanding. My stylist accused me of contacting another stylist there, which was absolutely not true, and therefore cancelled my upcoming appointment. When I first started going to Modish, I had extensions installed by Haley and loved them, but she did not do my color. Later, I met another stylist there through my job and booked a color appointment with her. At that appointment, I explained I went to Haley for extensions, and she raved about how great she was and suggested I ask her what to do as far as getting them put back in or doing K-tips next time. So I reached out to both Haley and my current stylist. I thought for sure there would be no issues with the collaboration between my stylist and an extension trainer/owner of the salon. I guess there was, and it all just seems very catty and sad.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! I would give more stars if I could. Angi Meyers is the best color expert and IBE stylist! Most of my hair is grey and due to the hurricanes (2024) I was way past due for a color and I needed new extensions. I obsess about my hair and I'm super picky after previous bad experiences. I am and was not an easy case for Angi but she nailed it like the pro she is! Angi gave me the best custom color treatment I've ever had. Seriously amazing! She also installed two rows of beautiful extensions and blended them in perfectly. I LOVE my hair and you will too!

To say I’m beyond disappointment in a hair salon would be an understatement. I purchased extensions from this salon in December 2023, and was promised that they would last me up to a year. The extensions didn’t even last me 6 months. I’ve had extensions all my life. I know how to take care of them. So when I contacted the owner of the salon, Hayley, hoping she would do the bare minimum, boy was I wrong! She laughed in my face, and blamed me for the damaged hair. I tried to get her to see my side, but there was no hope in getting her to empathize with me. She said I should look for another salon, because she will no longer care for me. Fast forward to me finding another salon. Not only did the salon say the extensions from Modish that cost me an arm and a leg were synthetic, but I also had balding spots! If you are looking for a salon that only cares about making capital off of you, then this salon is for you. Poor quality hair, poor customer service, poor morals and ethics from the owner of this establishment.

Lizzy is AMAZING! I’m from New York in town visiting my family and I found her work on instagram and knew she was the one! She gave me EXACTLY what I wanted (sandy blonde dimensional hair that can grow out beautifully and naturally). She gave me a perfect haircut as well! I’m already looking at flights to come back and see her in a few months. Her assistant Samara was excellent too!!

Lacey did such a great job! My hair usually lifts red and brassy but this didn’t happen as I’m trying to embrace my silver so wanted to go more ash/cool color all over. Her assistant Bibi was so sweet too. I was there for 4 hours but felt so comfy and they offered snacks and drinks. I know it’ll be a process to get my hair a little lighter but Lacey really prioritized the integrity of my hair so there was no breakage. I also want to grow my hair so she gave me a cut without chopping it…. So many stylists cut more but she was able to dust off the dead ends without me loosing much length. I’ll be back in a few months for round 2. Super happy!

This salon, the stylists…everything is AMAZING. I’ve been going to Lacey for a couple years now and honestly couldn’t possibly speak more highly of her and her work. She’s wildly knowledgeable, kind and just overall talented at what she does. I have really long blonde hair that has been through a lot so I’m a little protective of it but I feel so comfortable and confident every time I’m in her chair. She has been such a godsend for helping me keep it healthy yet pretty at the same time. She’s the best - period.

I can say this has been one of my worst experiences with hair extensions so far and I am a hair stylist who knows how to care for them and all the maintenance it takes. I went to this salon and Lindsey did my hair for the first time, was charged 3k+ on March 19th and on the 27 I had al lot beads popping out, pulling on my hair so I reached out to her and she “fixed” it. She only stitched my beads inside of the weft and didn’t actually adjust my sectioning or anything. She also kept saying that she could refer me to other stylist which made me feel she didn’t want to do my hair anymore. On May 3rd I messaged her again because I couldn’t even wash my hair because mine was the worst grow out I’ve seen in my life, I was scared they kept pulling and I was going to loose hair or they would fall off. This time she just scheduled me with Kaela, she did my move up , was charged for it but I didn’t mind because it seemed better. That was on May 11th, on May 31st not even 3 weeks after my beads popped out again so I messaged her, I sent a picture and my beads weren’t even the same color of my hair! She just apologized and said she would make them the right color on our new move up like what!? I agreed but then they started showing and my corners pulling so I messaged her to fix them and she said she didn’t have time and tried to blame it on my home care….. like come on! I do IBE as well and has never had this happened on anyone and if I ever do my costumer service would be to fix it right away. She just said she couldn’t and refunded half of my money. Send her a message that I didn’t care about the money that I just wanted it fixed and no response at all. Now I am stuck with almost 4k down the drain and having to find another hairstylist which will probably make me get hair again! And my hair is brand new. I also messaged Hayley, the owner to do something about this before leaving a review and got no response at all after 2 attempts. Definitely horrible costumer care.

I recently had my hair done by Madi Carter and she is amazing! Not only did she bring my hair back to life (long overdue), she has the best aura around her which made my appointment with her even better. She is known as “the blonde muse” via social but she kills it for her brunettes too! I really enjoyed my time at Modish with her and her assistant. The location of this salon is convenient with a coffee shop and food all around for before or after your appointment. The salon itself is very chic and I’m happy to call this salon my new hair home. Highly recommend Madi.

I look forward to my hair appointnments with Lacey and her staff, Modish is a gorgeous salon and we are all treated like VIPs. Lacey transformed my hair into the most perfect blonde in my first appointment with her. I would not trust my hair with anyone else! Lizzy is the best!! Her work is more consistent than any other stylist I’ve ever been to. She seamlessly blends in my blonde, and is fantastic at matching tones to reference photos.

*Update: I’m not sure what happened to my original review. Lacey called and texted me repeatedly in an unprofessional manner in the evening after seeing this* I will shorten the original story to say in my experience my appointments were always shifted if not rebooked to another day. I was asked to come in early regularly by 3-4 hours at times and the one time I could only accommodate 1 hour early she was in a terrible mood and rushed me out of there. It was regular drama with assistants that didn’t workout and overall the vibe changed this last year with that. Lacey is super talented but lacks organization and communication at least in my experience. I was ride or die for her and modish and never once complained, always tipped, sung her praises on socials and gladly dealt with everything else because the outcome was usually great. I think I deserved better than the treatment and communication at the end and this was just my way of being able to share that hurt/experience somewhere. Best of luck to Lacey and the salon. Aside from these things it’s amazing.

Finding someone you trust with your hair in a new place is hard until I found Lacey . From the very first time to every time I come in always a warm and pleasant experience. Lacey is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! She always kills it with my hair. She knows what I like and hate with my hair. She takes the time to listen to my wants and concerns. Her expertise is unmatched. I highly recommend Lacey if you’re looking for a new hair stylists.

I drive two hours from Naples to get my hair done by Lacey and it is 1,000% worth it! She is a master colorist and beyond nails my hair every time. 10/10 can’t recommend enough, she does beautiful work! She is also super accommodating and sweet. Run don’t walk to book her! You won’t regret!

I made my appointment & here we are almost 3 years later…Brandy does an excellent job every time. She goes above & beyond for her clients. I highly recommend Maddison G! I’ve been going to her for a little over a year now, and I am nothing but absolutely in love with my hair every time I leave the salon. Maddi is prompt, communicative, and of course amazing at what she does! She has done my extensions twice, and I loved the results each time. Maddi is also very personable, which makes sitting in her chair that much more enjoyable. I attached photos of my hair so you can see the results for yourself. I started going to Lacey last summer after doing tons of research on finding a new stylist! Her work is amazing. I don’t even know what I want half the time and she’s able to figure it out by a few photos and a very brief explanation. Lacey gave my hair the glow I was searching for. She is truly an artist with hair! The salon is also gorgeous.

I wanted to try this salon out because it’s relatively new and close to me. Unfortunately I felt my experience was unprofessional and results were mediocre for being there for almost 5 hours. The stylist chatted with her assistant most of the time. As far as the hair itself, the highlights came out nice, but for $400+ for a “full highlight” the underneath of my hair is still dark. I also thought it was odd that the stylist cut my hair when it was dry and already styled. She took some length off the bottom, but didn’t even go into my layers to trim those up, so those were left dry and with split ends. I reached out the stylist I saw to express my concerns and was told she was busy with family and would get back to me by the end of the day. I never heard back. I think the biggest takeaway is don’t always trust Instagram pics and go to a new salon with most likely inexperienced stylist.

If you're looking for a clean atmosphere, immaculate vibes, welcoming staff, flowing beverages (from water to espresso martinis), to some of the most well educated caring professionals you've encountered, then look no further this is the place for you. I've had the pleasure of trusting Lizzy for three years now, from manic rounds of extensions, to indecisive consults where I make her decide what I want to do with my life... I’ve been following her for YEARSSSSS and a bit out of my budget, babe asked me what I wanted for Xmas and I told him I wanted HER to do my hair because everyone keeps messing it up and or doesn’t give me what I want. Love this salon! Lacey saved my hair. Last year I had went brunette (very dark) after being blonde nearly my whole life. As you may guess I wanted to go back blonde. She was able to to get my hair back to the color I desired within two sessions. Breakage was my biggest concern and she was able to do it without much, if any, I can’t thank her enough for that.

Modish is such a beautiful space; relaxing, inviting and everyone is so welcoming. I've been going to Lacey for awhile now and I can't say enough good things about her. I'd admired her work on Instagram for awhile and now as a client I feel so lucky to have found her. She's so sweet and really listens to you about what you're wanting. Lacey is amazing at blondes, balayage, dimensional color- you name it. Every time I leave I find myself looking in the mirror a lot more bc I'm so obsessed with my hair!

Modish salon is THE salon to go to if you want that perfect beachy balayage. All of the girls there are so kind and always make sure you’re comfortable. Lacey has been doing my hair for years & she goes above and beyond. I love love love my hair!
