I absolutely love Moncina. She has been my loctician since I moved to SC a few years ago. She works fast, but thorough. She sends out appointment reminders, and allows me to book my appointments up ti a year in advance. I recently decided to cut my locs that I have bern growing for 8 years and received great compliments. If you don't have Sister Locs Ambassador that is certified, then go see Moncina!!

I have been coming to Momentum's since I have began my loc journey (2020). I did the big chop and my hair is down my back now and I have cut it twice. I do have an undercut for those hot flashes (that I will be having) lol. I love the spirit of the place and the spiritual and professionalism of Moncina. I think she has GOD hands the way she is able to retire my hair so quick. I am in and out very quick. I am very picky about whose hand I allow in my hair. Our body arua have to match and I have to feel safe. If you are looking for someone who cares about your hair and your well being, look no further than here.

I've enjoyed many massages, treatment and guidance that has been very supportive in helping with my stress level. Moncina is very sensitive to what my body needs. The right amount of pressure puts me to sleep every time. Moncina is definitely a gift to those around her. If you haven't been to Momentum's Body and Hair, you're missing a treat.

The best loctition around these parts. I've seen other people's locs and asked who did them (to make sure I didn't go there). But when I saw Moncina's work, I knew she would be doing my install and maintenance. She is so sweet and very personable. I definitely recommend her for your loc care... oh yeah, she works FAST and with good quality!

Excellent services! This is the perfect place to go if you're a person whose body tenses due to ongoing stress and responsibilities. I received a gift certificate as a birthday present. I called to set up an appointment the following week, and no one answered. So, I called again the next day, still no answer. So I left a voicemail. After 2 weeks of waiting, ( by this time I had given up on her calling me back) she finally calls me back, to set up my massage appointment. I politely declined, because I didn’t feel that I was a valued customer. Really! That is very unprofessional. I would suggest getting a secretary if you’re going to run a business and can’t answer and return customer calls in a timely matter.

Very professional and gifted in her field of massage therapy! I received great service and was provided with an explanation of problem areas and future recommendations to relax muscles. Moncina is the only massage therapist that I visit in Columbia! I would recommend her to anyone! She has a very sweet spirit and truly cares about her clients!

I received a certificate as a gift. I have been trying for over a week to schedule an appointment. Leaving messages etc. I finally received a call back, just to speak with someone who sounds as if she did not want my business. I was rushed off the phone AFTER she returned my call, because she had another session about to start. I did not feel as a valued customer. People do Groupon and Living Social so that they can BUILD clientele; new business, not just because... So obviously she needed the business. I have been expecting a return call for 5 days. No call back. The website does not give much info at all. U can't schedule an appointment there, look at reviews Or testimonials, its just a BASIC mediocre site, that looks sketchy. I made contact this morning , just to be told ... I do sisterlocs also, so im booked Saturday, Wednesday,Thursday,Friday AND Saturday AGAIN. I took off work, to have what I thought, would be a day of pampering,But i guess dealing with MY People, this is the kind of service you get. I will be exchanging my certificate, and taking my business elsewhere. Somewhere I know for sure my business will be welcomed. I get massages quite often , so You just LOST a customer who was willing and ready to Spend Spend $pend, hell could have even gained a new hair client as well. I I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS MASSAGE THERAPIST TO ANYONE. Getting my money back. #VeryUnsatisfied#TakingMyMoneyToTheWhites#TheyllGetMeRight
