My hair is curly and at 52 years old I have been to so many hair salons and have had different haircuts. If I tell you this was the worst haircut ever you better believe me. I normally don’t care that much because it will grow soon. But this time I can’t stand it! She cut my hair dry which is fine but didn’t even bother to recheck after wash! It is nothing near what I showed her in a pic. $120 haircut shouldn’t look like someone has put a bowl on your head and cut around it. My hair looks funny and not EVEN! One side is longer than the other side and so many parts that is lingering. Not to mention that I drove over an hour to this place. I have to find someone else not to fix this mess! I post the pics of the model and mine. You judge!!!

Billy is an artist! I hadn’t let anyone touch my hair in over 10 years! Billy was patient and kind. He trims my hair slowly in stages until I am comfortable. I’ve had it cut too short, burnt off etc in the past. It always turns out better than I could imagine! Everyone in the salon in welcoming and friendly and also accommodate my work schedule. :)

I got a Brazilian blowout and toner by Emily and Jocelyn. They are both so sweet and my hair looks and feels amazing. Klodjana gave me a haircut. BEST HAIRCUT EVER!

Hi, to preface this review I want to say the ladies taking care of me were nice and in no way am I trying to discredit them personally. I did not want to be rude speaking up about how awful the outcome of my hair was as soon as I saw it, although it was clear I was trying not to tear up. I could see on the employees face they knew they should have been more careful with my hair. Before photos were taken afters were not. $1000+ was paid. I came in with black box dyed hair that had been lightened to ginger 2 months prior. My request was to go lighter from ginger to blonde. Knowing what I know now, to put more bleach on recently bleached hair is absurd. I explained my hair history to them in depth in my consultation. I understand the difficult request, but I had no knowledge about the risks. I came to a professional salon, to people who ARE educated. It is your responsibility to turn down certain requests, be realistic about the outcomes, and care about the integrity of the clients hair. For the price and marketing of this salon I did not expect it to be an "in and out" type of service. I understood bleach would cause some damage, but this is beyond. I believe they were short staffed, it was kind of impersonal and I was left alone alot. I had no color correcting, no test strands, I sat down and they put straight bleach on my head and left it for 40 minutes while attending other clients. After, I had it washed out and I could literally feel the weight of my long ! :) hair falling into the sink. I told them I did not want a trim beyond 4 inches, or nothing at all, if possible prior. They put a toner and a mask in, blow dried it and cut even more off to blend the broken pieces. They said it, "matched my personality" and sent me on my way. The photos i'm sharing don't do the justice of how broken my hair is now. It's been this way since I left your salon, i've been doing non stop care for it. I brush it lightly and it doesn't fall off in one, it snaps in half. It is incredibly dry and thin. The difference in lengths and split ends is going to make growing it out extremely tedious. I'm just very upset guys.. I came to you for a confidence boost during a rough time. I've been toughing it out waiting to spend more money on extensions and now that I have them it doesn't mask the damage. It's upsetting. To whoevers reading this for expectations - just because a salon looks good on paper does not mean you should put your full trust in them. Be vigilant about your hair, ask questions, ask what they're doing, read the room. Again, not attacking my stylist personally, just please care about the integrity of the hair over hopeful results. Communication and test strands go a long way.

I can't recommend this salon enough, especially Klodjana and Katie! I spent years searching for the perfect hair colorist, knowing how crucial it is to find someone I could truly trust. I had seen the Monaco billboards and browsed their website occasionally, but I hesitated because trusting a stylist feels like it takes more than a therapy session to achieve lol! After seeing Klodjana's incredible before-and-after photos, I finally decided to give them a try—and I’m so glad I did! Klodjana took the time to thoroughly explain the color correction process and even did a test strip to ensure everything was safe. She then introduced me to Katie, and together, they worked their magic to create the most stunning, dynamic hair color I’ve ever had! Katie also styled my hair after the color correction, and it turned out absolutely beautiful. These two ladies are not only skilled but also professional, pleasant, and an absolute joy to work with. I’m thrilled with the results and feel completely confident returning to the salon, trusting my hair with either of them. I’m officially a loyal customer! 😊

I have been going to Monaco for some time now and I have never had a bad experience here. Klodjana is my hairstylist/colorist and recently did a color correction on my very fine and thin hair and the results were amazing! I am so happy and I now love how my hair looks. Klodjana listened to me, assessed the condition of my hair and then proceeded with a plan with how to achieve what I was asking for without any damage to my very fragile hair. After achieving the perfect color and highlights, Klodjana then expertly applied three rows of extensions and even though my hair is growing out, the extensions are not showing through at all and my natural hair is staying on good condition and not breaking or falling. To say I am happy with how Klodjana does my hair is an understatement. I have been ecstatic and was rather giddy the last time I left my appointment. I am so thankful to have Klodjana's expertise..she is highly skilled at color, and very conscientious and will be honest and strategic with you about the best plan for your hair! Another plus is that she is very kind, approachable and always professional. The entire staff at Monaco will make you feel welcome and you can relax knowing your hair is in the best of hands. I highly recommend this salon and I won't be going anywhere else!

only visited once in 2018 because i needed a GOOD color correction. i do not typically have the need for a high end salon because i only get my grays covered. however i did want to give this place their kudos because it is an absolutley BEAUTIFUL salon with the best ambiance. stylists of the highest caliber. my stylist who is no longer there (i think her name was kristen) was an absolute GEM. i do plan to be back on an as-needed basis. i highly recommend this place if you are looking for just a great all around upscale salon.

I go to Gabbi every time for my hair and she kills it every time! she always listens to my concerns and keeps my hair health in mind while staying really blonde. If you have a chance to go see her you should!

I have always been weary on trying new salons for my long hair. From the first time I met Klodjana to multiple visits after, her energy and expertise is unmatched. Not only does she kill it every time on my hair, her and her team provide such a great experience! 10/10 recommend.

I am a first time customer that booked with Dillon after seeing his rave reviews online. We did a FaceTime consult and then he told me the front desk will send me a quote via text. I was sent a $547 quote for a cut and color which I was willing to pay. I called the salon and told them I would love to book with Dillon. Before hanging up, I double checked with the receptionist on the date and time and was told yes I was all booked. When I showed up this morning to the salon for my 9am appointment, I was told I did not have an appointment. I was very disappointed that a salon of this caliper that charges this much money couldn’t get it together with their appointment scheduling. Not a great first impression.

Jordan is a hair saver! I found her after doing a lot of research looking for a new stylist because I had recently had a terrible experience and had my blonde hair fried off and it was frizzy, breaking and dry. I was on the verge of tears when I came in and had a meet and greet with her. Jordan listened to me, was honest about the length of recovery time and set solid expectations. I did not like the situation I was in, but she was sweet and very knowledgeable. I finally felt at ease that there was a way to fix my hair. It has now been several appointments later and she has exceeded my expectations of the plan she laid out. I’m so happy I found her, I just wish I had found Jordan sooner!

Dillon at Monaco is fabulous. He knows exactly what I want anytime I want to switch my hair color. He is very educated and listens when I have questions. Monaco salon is very clean and makes you feel like family the moment you walk in. I highly recommend Monaco, and ask for Dillon!

This is the only salon in Tampa I’ll go to!! I’m pretty stingy with spending money on beauty but Meg and Betsy have always taken such good care of me! Meg fixed my disastrous color the first time I came in and i’ve trusted her ever since!
