Fue mi primera vez que fui ai, iva acortarle el pelo ami hija y no supieron hacerlo bien le cortaron de un lado demasiado corto y de abajo les quedó muy mal , ninguna de las dos mujeres que estaban ai no podían cortar pelo. Mi hija salió llorando porque le quedó su pelo feo

I found this place due to the fact that it was close to an area I frequent often on my days off. I arrived very optimistic, the owner took a look at my hair and assured me that she could provide the service i was requesting, which involved dying my hair. I showed her the color i wanted, she offered me a color similar to it because she didn't have the color i wanted. So i said i would try one of the colors she offered. She began bleaching my hair, then rinsed and washed. She squeezed a previously opened tube with product into her hand. She lathered her hands with it and "LITERALLY" wiped the product on the surface of my hair. As she's doing that she says "Te puse este color porque estás muy morena y te vas a ver bien falsa.(I'm using this color because you're too dark and you're going to look fake." I don't like confrontation so i continued with the appointment because it was too late to turn back. She sits me back in the chair and turns me away from the mirror and starts drying my hair. She combs it and styles it. And turns me back and the color she gave me was a bright blonde color, when i specifically told her i wanted something golden. I even pointed to a color, which she changed anyway. I didnt say anything because i thought it was just the color and maybe it could be fixed later. I paid her for her products and tipped her for her time because that would be the last time I would ever step foot in that establishment, especially after making the colorist remark she made. The next day i washed my hair and all of the dye came off. I had blonde patches around my hairline, orange thick patches throughout my hair and the back had white patches. This was the worst experience I've ever had involving my hair. I went to work embarrassed. Luckily my boss let me take the day off a few days later. I booked an appointment at another salon to Color corrected the horrible job Monica's salon did. If you are of a dark completion don't waste your money here. The worst part is that the owner is "morena"(dark skinned) too.

Just passed by 3/24/19 at 3:30pm and the sign said open. Google maps also said open until 8pm today so we went and once we tried to go in, they said it was closed. Someone please update the right hours! Also the salon should turn off their open sign to closed.
