My wife and I were looking for someone who could come to our house to do our makeup for our vow renewal, and we’re so glad we found Raquel and Mooi Studio! From our trial session, Raquel was incredibly sweet, professional, and attentive. Her communication was excellent, and she gave us exactly what we wanted—a natural look that was perfect for the occasion. She also helped us choose lipstick shades that beautifully complemented our dresses and personalities. As a queer couple, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend!

Front desk staff rudely and disgustingly called my emergency miscarriage that resulted in me having to cancel a waxing appointment "a freebie," and owner who has no respect for women in this situation backed her up. I have the entire thing recorded and women everywhere would be disgusted to hear it. Then they tried to fraudulently bill me for a no show when in fact I had rescheduled the appointment online and again have proof that it was within the 24 hour cycle, claiming that I had to call to cancel which it says NOWHERE online. They will be facing fraud charges from my credit card company. Do yourself a favor and stay away from any business that treats a waxing appointment as more important than care and compassion for mothers experiencing loss.

I got my eyebrows waxed and tinted by Ahmana yesterday and I honestly can’t imagine a better experience - she really listened to my preferences and offered her own expertise and suggestions, and the brows came out looking amazing, exactly what I wanted! She was also extremely kind to me (as was everyone else in the shop), my phone broke right before my appointment and she actually fixed it for me before getting to my brows. Truly above and beyond. I can’t recommend Mooi studios highly enough!!!

Mooi did my bridal makeup and trial and both turned out amazing! They were super fun to have morning of and really take your natural features and just enhance them. They believe in good brands that are good for your skin and give a discount for any pre bridal facials and skin care. Definitely recommend them for all of the above!

We had 2 makeup artists from Mooi for our bridal party and they did an incredible job! The entire bridal party received nonstop compliments on their makeup. The bridal trial was included in the package and Ahmana did amazing! I felt gorgeous on my wedding day and my makeup stayed fresh the entire evening!

Extremely disappointed in my first (and last) sugaring and will definitely not return. I was seen by Tracy who I was told is their most experienced employee. It was twice as painful and twice as expensive than any wax experience I have had in the past. To make matters worse, I followed all of her instructions including exfoliating and have so many painful ingrown hairs and it looks awful. Afraid of permanent scarring,i called and asked to speak to a manager to see if there was anything that could be done. The women who answered the phone were both rude and condescending, insisting I must not have followed instructions (which I absolutely did) making excuses that it must have been something I did instead of showing empathy and being kind. They said I could come back in for a quick chemical peel that might help. That was also the most awkward experience and I 100% did not enjoy the vibe in the salon either time, very superficial and catty. I wasted almost $70 and very likely have permanent scarring, it looks AWFUL. Please save your money, wild kitty waxing is amazing, I wish I had.

Mooi is literally the BEST place to go for anything from a spray tan to makeup application to brow lamination or facials, you name it. Their entire staff is so welcoming, informative and knowledgeable about the services and products that they offer. Their location is impeccably clean and designed in a way to make your experience feel luxurious, relaxing and safe. Run, don’t walk- I’d trust them with my life!

Got a lash lift and tint with Ahmana and have not stopped getting compliments on it! As someone who has had many lash lifts at several different salons over the years, this is hands down the best one I've ever had. Highly highly reccomend!

She was very friendly, efficient and the results were great! The gals at the front desk were welcoming and the space is clean and bright. They seem to carry really nice products as well. I originally came here for a spray tan using groupon and loved it the first time. We talked a lot about how we could extend the tan for an event a little further out and what color would work best for my skin. I loved the tan. I didn't ever feel orange or over done. This last time, I got called and asked to come in a half hour early which I was able to accommodate. When I arrived I was immediately rushed into the back room. This was nothing like the service I had the first time. There was no thought out plan or showing me what would work better. I was asked a few questions which I found out didn't really matter because the solution was already mixed up anyway. Today I feel bright orange and much darker then I would have liked or expressed I wanted. Just overall a very poor experience compared to last time and I probably won't be back. Edit: the salon did reach back out and discussed the breakdowns in the service and credited another service. Would be happy to receive a service like I did the first time so we will see.

I used Mooi for multiple services for my wedding, and of all my vendors, this is the only one leaving me with mixed feelings. 1) I received two spray tans from Mooi. I did a trial run a few weeks before my wedding. The trial ended up being pretty dark, so when I went back in for my actual spray tan I let them know and I was given instructions on how to adjust the timing of my shower and the color ended up perfect! I would definitely recommend a spray tan here, but would also recommend a trial run if you are doing it before a big event! 2) I used Mooi for my bridal/bridesmaid makeup. The communication with my makeup artist was very poor. My wedding was at the beginning of June, and at the beginning of April I sent my artist a timeline of my wedding day. I did not receive a response, but my makeup trial was shortly after and at the trial we also talked about the timeline of my wedding day. At the trial, I was told I would have a second makeup artist since my bridal party was rather large. About two weeks before the wedding day, I sent another message to confirm what time the team would actually be arriving, to which I did not receive a response. I then called the studio after a week with no response, and a team member reached out to my artist. At this point it's about a week before the actual day and my artist is telling me she doesn't have a second artist to help and is asking if we can adjust the timeline. This was INCREDIBLY stressful right before the wedding, especially since I had addressed the finalized timeline several times (some times without a response). The actual makeup did turn out beautiful and my bridal party loved their looks! On the day of, the one artist was able to complete everything on time. However, I was not impressed with the lack of communication and the stress immediately before the wedding. I personally felt like all of this should have been addressed way sooner than a week prior. I also feel like if I hadn't reached out over and over, it wouldn't have been addressed at all. I believe you can receive beautiful bridal makeup elsewhere without the added stress from poor communication. Given that, I would not recommend Mooi for bridal makeup.

Loved my experience here! I got a lash lift and tint, as well as my first facial. Both services by Emily S. were fantastic! The facial was personalized to me and I am incredibly happy with the results. I appreciate the thoughtfulness and tailoring of services to my needs! Highly recommend!

The ladies from Mooi did an absolutely wonderful job! I am so glad I hired them for my 9.3.23 wedding in Denver! 1 bride, 6 bridesmaids, 2 grooms-women, 2 moms and a grandma.... they handled it all super time efficiently and professionally! Everyone loved their makeup - I honestly heard zero complaints from anyone!! Leading up to the wedding I had some other services at Mooi, and really loved the whole experience. Big fan of the brow lamination and lash lift/tint as a lowish maintenance glam routine. A friend recommended Mooi Studio to me, and I will also be recommending Mooi to all of my friends getting married in Denver in the future.

This beautiful salon has a great variety of services and packages to choose from. Kelsey has done my spray tans, hydra facials, and a variety of brow services! I can’t recommend her enough. I also have to shout out Sam, the woman at the front desk, who is so helpful and welcoming every time I call or visit. Check them out!
