I have been getting my haircut at this salon for the past 5 years. She cuts my hair different every single time. Sometimes she uses the clippers for the whole thing and other times she just buzzes the back and uses the scissors on the top and the sides. Sometimes when I leave I'm not very happy with the haircut but within a couple of days it looks fine. I just got my haircut today and I thought she did a bang-up job... best haircut ever. I watch her cut other people's hair and their hair looks great when she's done. She's a very nice lady. I enjoy her and I would recommend this as a good salon. The reason I would not recommend her is because when she is busy I have to wait to get my haircut...LOL

I walked in last Friday, never been here before but absolutely needed a professional to fix the terrible mess I made with my trimmers the previous evening as I had a funeral to attend on Saturday for someone very close to me. She was right there when I walked in. I told her what I needed and she sat me right down and in 10 minutes I was walking out with a decent, tight haircut, which i hadn't had in several years to be honest. It was $12 for the cut so I just gave her $15 and said thank you. Went home and my wife just smiled, relieved that someone had gotten me looking like I belonged in the suit I wore Saturday.

I was a walk in and Kim took me right away. I showed her a rough picture of how I wanted my hair cut and it came out perfect. A lot of stylest want to inject their own ideas and I end up with the cut they wanted instead of anything I had in mind. Kim did not try to get fancy, a simple cut, easy to care for and very reasonably priced. I will go back. 🙂

When I moved to Portland, I didn’t know of a good hair salon until I discovered moon salon. Every time I need a haircut, moon salon is the place I go to now. I’ve been coming here for two years as a regular and I can say that the lady working here is very professional and knows what she is doing. The environment is clean with a nice atmosphere and I’m always happy of the work that she does. Thanks!
