I've been coming here for the last few years. Do I travel far for it? Yes. Why? Because Shannon is a joy to be around, and I feel like family there. My handprint is even on the mural just outside the establishment.

Sept 2022: I am changing my hairstyle and Shonnon once again does an amazing job for what I am looking for. We are transitioning to the new cut before we apply color. Next time I'll post a before and after. June 2022: My stylist is Shannon and I've had her trim and color my hair for more than four years now. She always does such an amazing job taking care of me and making me happy. She goes beyond offering me to take home and try products. I also learn so much with self care and treatment, I never had a stylist or barber do this for me. This is why I'm so loyal to Shannon and always come back here.

Cookie is a very nice and she knows how to cut my hair very well. Her prices are very low so it is easier to give her a bigger tip. I love moonshine.

I've been lost on hair cuts since Beau Monde closed, drifting from one barber to the next nearly at random. One day I needed an emergency trim before a business school event, and I chanced upon Moonshine Hair Studio... Shannon is easily a match for any of the best barbers I've had (I've lived in three countries, so tough competition), and at prices which make me want to come in frequently and tip well (which let's face it, is usually a little weird at the end of an expensive hair cut).
