I went in feeling defeated about my hair loss/thinning and limp curls. I had a specialized curl cut and style with Taylor Negron, and I have never been so happy after a haircut!! My curls are back to life! I now know how to care for and style my hair. I’m so excited for my new journey with my curls and actually loving them!!

First time guest today. Booked my appointment a month in advance & the wait was so worth it. I’ve worked in & around the industry for over 10 years now. The detailed esthetic is all you could want in a salon. My stylist Taylor came THROUGH. From her hello to consultation to execution I could not have asked for more. Her talent is beyond expectation 10/10 she’s amazing!!!

My salon experience was lovely, my hair looks and feels amazing. But to my surprise I was charged significantly more for a full highlight than was advertised. I was charged $430 for a service that was listed as $310. I did not request anything extra, nor was anything explained to me during the visit. I really wanted to love them, their work is lovely, but after they honored my request for a $50 refund I was told they cannot accommodate me in the future. A very unusual experience and it made me sad.

Such a great place! Everyone is so nice and friendly. Gianna has been amazing with my hair and always does a great job. Grace does an awesome job with lashes and brows as well. I definitely would recommend them to anyone!

I had my first hair experience today at Moss and Main. I met with Giana. She was fabulous!!! I loved chatting with her. And her work is amazing. She put so much energy into fixing my hair and I felt so good with the outcome. She did a beautiful job with the cut and put so much energy into fixing the color. I highly recommend! So I started going to Moss and Mane about a year ago and I honestly don’t think I could ever let anyone else touch my hair. My Fabulous stylist ⭐️Taylor ⭐️ and the entire team do such an amazing job with Every client that walks in the door. I have never left Taylor’s chair, not feeling gorgeous. If you’re looking for a place to go to relax, listen to some good music and just take some time for yourself, Moss and Mane is the place to go! You’re going To leave like a whole new person! 🌟

Stop looking for another salon and book with the babes at Moss and Mane! I drive an hour each way because it’s simply amazing! The vibe is relaxing, modern, trendy and just has a cool girl vibe. The stylists are all extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I have seen Bri for years and she is honest and helpful every time. I would recommend this salon over and over again!

By far the best salon experience I’ve had. Giana talked with me about the style and color I wanted. She also took a look at my hair before cutting it to see how the layers would fall. Normally stylists don’t take the time and just start chopping. I have never been so happy leaving a salon with a new cut and color!

Absolutely fantastic salon! Everyone is knowledgeable and courteous. If anything feels* off or needs a little extra love, everyone is willing to pitch in. It’s a beautiful-looking salon as well and is staffed with stylists/colorists that are top-notch without having big egos. The customer service is A+ and as a nervous introvert, I love the option for a quiet visit or support if needed when anxious about my color (I’m a red head and they know what they’re doing!) I’d recommend to anyone! :)

Absolutely love this place. The atmosphere is wonderful and all the people are so friendly and welcoming. My daughter and I go to Taylor and she is so talented. I cannot speak highly enough about Taylor. She took the time to understand my vision and gave me honest, realistic feedback. We devised a plan together, yes, TOGETHER! She included me in the transformation process and when I say transformation, it was pure artistry. She had a huge job on her hands with me as I required color correction (years of box coloring at home) and multiple other services to fix the mess I had made. Taylor is passionate, professional, creative and truly has a level of skill that far surpassed my expectations. Moss & Mane staff were all wonderful to me, the salon is GORGEOUS, they use and carry extremely high quality products. I highly recommend! I will never go anywhere else!!!

I honestly can’t say enough about this salon!! Absolutely agree with others who say it has a high end feel minus any of the normal pretentiousness. Everyone is so warm and welcoming, and the vibe is upscale but relaxed. I’ve never trusted anyone with my hair the way I trust Devin, and I always feel like I’m catching up with an old friend when I come in. She’s perfect.

I started coming to Moss & Mane after my stylist, Devin transferred salons. I had to drive a bit further to see her, but she is so talented I decided to make the trip. The salon is perfection from the moment you walk in. There is always a friendly face greeting you at the desk, offering a beverage, and the vibe/aesthetic of the space is beautiful. I cannot say enough about the salon as a whole and obviously Devin is AMAZING.

This salon got me EDUCATED!!! Taylor was so good to me throughout the process of understanding how to better care for my hair and keep up the maintenance. Moving to CT and finding this salon has saved me years of experimenting on my hair journey. My last stylist in NJ tried to fix my heavy oily hair by thinning it out and adding layers... and Taylor immediately knew I needed to treat my scalp and not my hair. I feel reborn. Also, the scalp massage during the hair wash was phenomenal - my last high end salon really rushed the washing process and I wanted to be pampered. Definitely committed here now <3

This salon is a 10 out of 10! Taylor was super professional, warm, and gave me the best cut/style! Caleigh was kind enough to text me an hour before my appointment to let me know that Taylor was running 15 minutes behind which I really appreciated, and she was really friendly when I called to book the appointment! The atmosphere in the salon is warm/welcoming with a high end feel minus the pretentiousness some high end salons have. I've been to many high end salons and Moss and Mane has them all beat. I feel so lucky to have such a great salon so close to home! Keep up the great work, ladies!

15/10 I will be coming back to see Devin! I have lived in CT for almost 8 years and have yet to find a stylist that I really loved. I had been from Stamford to New Haven to Hartford to find the right fit! I walked into the studio and was greeted warmly by another stylist. The studio is not only beautiful but clean as well. I had botched a box dye job on myself ( I know I know, I’m almost 30 what was I thinking I could do it myself?!), we laughed about the terrible outcome. Devin set expectations from the getgo, we came up with a plan that I could maintain and that worked with my pin straight hair. I HAVE NOT FELT THIS GOOD ABOUT MY HAIR IN YEARS. Thank you Devin for making this new mum feel good about herself <3. I have already booked my next two appointments.
