Jordan is fantastic. She was very attentive and helped me figure out what i wanted from pictures i liked. Made me feel very at ease about the process! The salon is super comfy and not crowded for its size. Highly recommend letting Jordan guide the color layout. Shes a genius!

This is my third or fourth time in to see the hair wizard Jordan and they absolutely DEVOURED !!! Within the last year and half, my hair has been going through changes—hair loss, oily at roots, extremely dry at the ends. I’ve been looking for a haircut that complements my current needs. The cut I received from Drea was perfect. It gave me volume and an updated style. Most importantly was HOW she did everything—with intention and compassion. From her intake form to the convo beforehand to the shampoo to the cut—she was thoughtful about my sensory needs, my physical needs and my comfort. Truly, she’s a gem 💎.

I love my hair stylist, Drea! She’s been cutting my hair since 2021 and always makes me feel super confident. She’s a true artist and goes above and beyond to make her clients feel comfortable and happy with their hair. I have also had my hair colored by Jordan and had a great experience with her as well. Went to see Jordan with the intention of bringing my hair to life and infusing it with magic before Electric Forest and boyyyy was that delivered. I am SO pleased with the outcome. I had the most relaxing and fun day being pampered by Jordan. She’s super fun to talk to, a great listener who gives her best hair advice, but ultimately makes sure that you’re happy with the result and it’s what you want. Also, love hearing her talk about the different products that she uses as she’s very knowledgeable and likes to educate rather than push a product on you. My girl is specifically talented in colors so if you’re trying to experiment with something wild, this is the girl for you! But she also is great with us natural girlies. 💕

I’ve been a client of Sharon’s for years and she’s the best! Sharon is an absolute color artist and is so meticulous in her craft. She’s got a great eye and is helpful with styling techniques and products. Sharon is also a great person to know - she really goes above and beyond (she traveled out of state to cut, color and style my hair for my wedding!). There’s no one else I’d rather see - I trust her completely and would recommend her to anyone!

Sharon does such an incredible job with hair and especially with blondes! I’ve been seeing her for years as my only colorist since before she was at Motive. She somehow manages to make my blonde hair look natural and seamlessly blended every time - I love a natural, lived-in look. I also have fine hair and she has given me the best haircuts that I’ve ever had - helping my hair to lay well and not be weighed down since I’m always looking for volume. 10/10 recommend her and I continue to, especially to all my blonde friends!

Sharron has been cutting my hair and both my son's hair for over 10 plus years. She is a true artist, I say artist because she can encapsulate any vision you have in mind. My son's and I have gone through long hair spurts to short hair. Sharron could adapt at any thing we wanted. I haven't found one person to match her talents period. Kelsey is the absolute best. I’ve been going to her for over a year and a half and she truly is a blonde master. I searched all over Austin for the right fit and I’m so grateful I found her. My hair always looks incredible and she will always be honest about her opinion and make suggestions when I ask for them. She is also such a great person to spend a few hours with each time. I couldn’t see myself going anywhere else.

W O W. Y’all, just wow. Motive hair group is the place to do it if you need it done. These guys are absolute professionals, total badassess, and truly talented hair stylists. I got my cut from Drea, and was absolutely blown away - this was my post-quarantine cut, and I wanted to go from brittle long, thick hair to something more manageable. Drea literally sat down and talked with me prior to the service, a luxury I considered off the table with other ‘high-end’ salons I had poor experiences with. I then had the best haircut of my life - she was not only an expert in her craft but also fun to chat with and clearly loves what she does. I’d recommend Drea to anyone looking for a cut from a seasoned professional who will listen to your needs. For my color, I saw Koko - and hoooo boy, did she have her work cut out for her! I had used box dyes on my hair during the pandemic, and wanted to go from dark brunette to blonde balayage/ombré. During a coloring procedure that took me from a nightmare to my dream colors, I learned that Koko is a secret color correction ninja! First, she removed the cheap pigments from my box dye mishaps (it was quarantine, y’all) and then got in there with her color wizardry to turn a gross mousy brown into (no exaggeration) freakin CELEBRITY hair. I felt like a goddess walking out of there. If you are ready to start fresh with your hair after some boxed mishaps, GO TO KOKO!! She is an incredible listener and collaborator, and was very open and honest with what she’d be able to accomplish and the time frame needed. She worked super quickly to make sure I got the most bang for my buck. I’m so grateful for all her work and she’s got a lifer client out of it. In conclusion - need a great cut or great color? Head to MOTIVE y’all!! These guys were born out of an all-women pandemic collab and their studio is very chic, skills on point, hearts on sleeves - book it!
