Amazing laser treatment, excellent customer service. The machine used for the treatment is amazing, I literally see results the next day. Everyone experience may be different but this is my second time going and each time, the next day I can see a difference!

I bought a package for a 3” by 3” tattoo removal which is 9 square inches. The tattoo I have is 4” by 2” which is 8 square inches. This means that my tattoo is 1 square inch smaller than the purchased package. They refused to use my package and insisted that I upgrade to the 4” by 4” which is 16 square inches and literally double the surface area needed. Mind you they would still only be actually doing 8 square inches because that is the size of the tattoo and you’re not going to just laser skin that isn’t tattooed to make extra money I would think. The reasoning is because it is 4” wide and even though it’s only 2” tall it didn’t matter. They said that everyone did it that way and her prices are cheaper than anyone else’s anyway so I wouldn’t get a better deal. I basically felt trapped in this room and forced to pay extra for a reason that made absolutely no sense to me. I was supposed to get a discounted rate for the first package as well and with this change I would be going from a discounted 3”X3” package to a full price 4”X4” package. She asked me for an additional $120 to cover the difference which as I noted above wouldn’t actually add any extra time to the session because my tattoo is one square inch smaller than the 3X3…Her solution was I either pay the extra $120 right then or I cancel my order and go somewhere else. I looked up an actual tattoo shop that does tattoo removal and they were very shocked at how this person treated the situation. They said it made no since to them and the laser removal literally takes like 30 seconds so they would never even think about turning a client away for something like that. That place is Tattoo Bills. It is a very classy, big, and nice tattoo shop also in Charlotte. He got me in same day, price matched what I paid before, and even through in an extra area that I wasn’t planning on removing because they thought it would make it look better. They also have better quality machines that remove color. Last thing I will say is during the consultation with Mountain Island Skin Care she wasn’t too confident that all of the black in the tattoo would be able to lift, but Frank at Tattoo Bill’s Tattoo Shop definitely seemed like he knew more about what he was doing and he was super confident that there would be no issues at all. My takeaway from this is not to get a tattoo removed from someone who doesn’t know much about tattoos and wants to get as much money as possible instead of just doing right by people.

I love Mountain Island Skin Care, is the place to go. The pricing is very competitive, the office is beautiful and very clean. The staff was very friendly and very knowledgeable. I will recommend Mountain Island Skin Care to everyone. If you want to be pampered give them a call.

I had a tattoo removed a few weeks ago from mountain island skin care they made sure to inform me on the aftercare after the treatment was done it was quick and easy and they took great care of me while getting the treatment done I will gladly go there again and there is no scaring 10/10 for all employees there

I highly recommend. I received services for about a year. I’d guess hair growth decreased by more than 90%. I’m smooth and rarely have to shave. Great customer care. Rescheduling was no hassle. I plan to do addition laser hair removal treatments due to the satisfactory results. Be patient. It’s not going to be a major difference over night. You will see noticeable improvement after a few sessions (about 6).

Love, love, love this place! I’ve done laser at another place and got no results. Finally see results after coming here and them using the Candela laser on my skin tone. The experience is great and quick. Charity is so friendly, so she makes you feel comfortable. She always does a test spot at the end too, to verify whether she can increase the light for the next time. I’ve always felt welcome and would recommend this place to anyone. I found this place via Groupon and ended up ordering another treatment set after seeing the results and the friendly care. So happy with this place and the treatments.

There are not enough great words I can say about this establishment. Down to the most incredible techs ever to the top results from their excellent and modern machines. I have done multiple types of treatments there all with fantastic results! If you were thinking about going, JUST GO! Biggest regret is that I waited so long to get going on my laser hair removal treatments. Worth it!

Contemplated laser hair removal for years and finally decided to give it a try. I found this place on Groupon and ended up buying additional treatments after seeing positive results. I have seen Charity for about 6 full-leg and bikini area laser hair removal treatments, and 1 microneedling treatment. I am always greeted kindly and have only waited once before a scheduled procedure (maybe 5 minutes). This is the second place I have received laser hair removal, and Mountain Island Skin Care is about half to 3/4 the price of the prior. I have fair skin, and dark, thick hair, so laser hair removal is not always the most comfortable, but Charity has always been professional and has made me feel as comfortable as possible. Having to shave only a handful of times a year is well worth the laser hair removal treatments.
