Im the girlfriend from the last review. I was there to witness the whole situation and he wasn’t rude once. Actually, for your information, he explicitly stated that he didn’t want to be rude. He did ask the questions on why it was that price hence the list of pricings in his review. How else would he know the exact prices if he wasn’t listening , or if he didnt ask the questions in the first place. You have further proved your point that you arent in this for customer service. All this is for you is a paycheck. Thats why its a rip off and not customer friendly. You look at those nails and tell me if you would pay 70$ for them. Its funny how you didnt say anything about how thick they are, even when I asked for thinner nails. (i asked her 4 separate times) I dont know anyone who would pay for them. Also, the price got decreased prior to questioning of your prices because of the lack of attention to detail your nail tech had. She started the job without making sure you had the color I wanted. Thats why I decided to keep the french tips. Had nothing to do with price at that time. Your response to my boyfriend furthers his point of your terrible customer service skills. You lied about the situation and him to save the image of your business without taking responsibility of the mistakes your employees made. Terrible ownership. And future customers should take your rude reply jnto consideration when choosing a place to get their nails done. Despite the terrible experience we had, we payed and left. Stop lying. I understand bad comments about your establishment can be frustrating, but maybe if you took some OWNERship, you wouldn’t have so many. DONT COME HERE!!!

This was hands down the best pedicure I received in a long time! Staff was super friendly. My friend and I were able to get right in and were greeted with warm smiles. The atmosphere was so cute and cozy!

Went in for a pedicure and a full set acrylic with gel polish. Pedicure was fine but the full set was not worth the money. First of all she didn’t even prep my nails no pushing back the cuticle no cutting them. She went in and just filing it down. And the acrylic is super thick she didn’t even take her time and file it down. I have gotten my nails done before a thousand times but this has by far been the thickest set I have gotten. The worst part is that it was for my baby shower. Secondly, the Design was a simple French tip and all the French tips are different lengths. Thirdly, I asked for a short square shape and my thumbs literally look like duck nails. Fourthly, when I asked at the end if she can clean up the side of my nails and clean up the glue mess she had an attitude and only proceeded to wipe it down with an alcohol pad. Trust me and save your money cause honestly there’s better salons out there that take pride in their work.

I used to really like Moxie…they have a ton of color options and the manicures were always really great. However, the last time I went, my manicure was pretty bad. Not only did the service itself feel really rushed and incomplete (the tech didn’t have me soak one of my hands at all, she didn’t buff the nails on the other hand, and only shaped a few of my nails), my cuticles ended up looking super ragged and rough and the polish job was just not good. I politely asked for two of the nails to be fixed because the polish was bleeding into the cuticle area and she did “fix” that, but the polish is super lumpy and uneven. On one of my nails the topcoat doesn’t even cover the polish all the way. The tech was really nice, but I don’t feel like her work is up to the standard of a professional nail salon. I am really bummed about how my nails turned out even after saying something about it while I was there.

I dont normally write reviews but for this, i need to. I wish I could put ZERO stars. This establishment is a scam. First off my girlfriend wanted to come here because of the pictures on their instagram page. Dont be fooled by those. Their nail techs are lazy and rude. She showed the tech what she wanted at the very beginning, she said okay and started to work on her nails. She never clipped her natural nails, or her cuticles. She immediately glued on the acrylic’s. The nail tech mentioned it would cost $85. When on their instagram and pamphlet, they advertise $40 for acrylics. DONT FALL FOR IT. She started with the french tips and when she got to the design portion, the nail tech told her they didn't have the color she was looking for AFTER SHE STARTED. Makes no sense. So she decided to just keep the acrylic’s with french tips. During her experience she told the nail tech that her nails were too thick (picture included). The tech did a lazy job at filing her nails down to her liking so she just gave up. After all of this, the price came out to $70. I was shocked, especially when they start at $40. I told the nail tech it didnt make sense. So here comes the rude and entitled owner of this establishment. You want to know her character? Just look at the way she responds to her unsatisfied customers in the comments. Her attitude says everything you need to know about this establishment. She will respond on this one too. Anyways, she starts to explain the pricing. $45 for the acrylic’s because of the “length”, $15 for gel polish (SHE NEVER ASKED FOR IT), and then and extra $10 for the french tips. Wow. We told her she didnt ask for gel polish.. so what was her solution? “We can take it off and do it over again without the gel polish.” Ridiculous solution. Just admit the tech made a mistake, apologize, and charge us the right price. She would rather waste the nails, and start over. In conclusion GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! Take your business somewhere for half the price and double the quality. Absolute scam of an establishment.

Lucky was amazing! She paid attention to every small detail and took extra care around a previously injured nail. I had a wonderful experience with her and would highly recommend. My nails look so beautiful and healthy, I could not be happier with the service I received!!

Been going to the same nail place for four year and then moved to the area so I was nervous to try a new spot. India was amazing. She was so kind and did an absolutely amazing job on my nails. So happy to have found her!! She did exactly what I showed her and took her time. Will definitely be back to see her again! Highly recommend India!!

Had a GREAT experience at Moxie. They were very nice, professional, and accommodating with fixing my nails when I didn’t like them. Very clean and welcoming atmosphere. Happy to find my new nail home :)

I've been to moxie several times now, usually gel mani/pedi's. I can't recommend this place any longer. Normally its 5 star service, but something has changed with the salon. It wasn't quite as clean, well lit, or well ventilated. The customer service wasn't to the level I've become accustomed to at Moxie as well. I also noticed they are using a 'community bowl' style for lotions and scrubs, and the cheese grater for the feet (which I declined), which they never used to do, was dipped into the foot tub, rinsed off and placed back in the basket.

I’ve been there twice and I enjoy my services every time! I got acrylics for the first time with Mai and recently got my first fill, she’s lovely and listens to what you would like so I’m very happy with her service :)

Do not bring a guest. They will kick them out. (Although they will deny this by saying they "tell them nicely to wait outside," which is kicking somebody out, nicely or not.) They did not mention this unfriendly policy while booking over the phone, instead they seem to think you should telepathically know that there is a 1sqft sign by their front door that says this. Also, the last time my partner was there, they let her mom wait in the business without getting service done. This policy and lack of effort to communicate this policy when booking an appointment results in wasting people's time, energy, and gas. It was my first time ever being kicked out as a guest at a nail salon. If they were to respond with an apology for any inconvenience the miscommunication may have caused and said they would provide customers with a disclaimer when booking appointments in the future, I would have deleted my rating. Instead of owning up to this mistake, they will downplay the policy and passive aggressively tell you it is your own fault for not knowing it.

Had to come pick up a friend due to being asked to leave while waiting for his girlfriend to have services completed. The business waiting area was empty at the time. I'm not sure the purpose of asking someone to wait outside when there is ample waiting room and no customers waiting. The purpose of him coming at all was for her birthday and to see her excited for her day of pampering and that was ruined by an inconsiderate staff.

Sheree does my nails! At this point I have a portfolio of Sheree's work. The staff is always respectful and the environment is always welcoming. Make sure to book an appointment because these ladies are busy. I usually prefer when Gina does my pedicures too. And tip your artists, what they're doing is crafting art and giving you an experience!
