Kayla is truly a talented hair stylist and a perfectionist with color! She is good at listening to what you want and is very educated in new styles. My hair always looks amazing. I’m always getting lots of compliments. I have been going to Kayla for years and have followed her to her new location in the Washington Park area. When you find a gem like Kayla, you hold on to her. I would highly recommend her to anyone needing a great cut and color.

I've been dying cut my very long hair because it was a pain to manage. I walked by Kayla's salon while I was shopping yesterday and she offered to cut my hair on the spot! She was very communicative, talking through the decision to make a dramatic change. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. She was professional, personable and gave me a fantastic new look! I wish I had a better photos but here's a before to show length and after. Big thanks Kayla!

Kayla is an amazing hair stylist! I ask for a slightly strange hairstyle and she always makes my dreams come true! Kayla is very friendly and welcoming and really listens to your ideas and follows through. We have color ideas, I will be back for color soon, she is an amazing colorist!

Visit Kayla at her new location in Wash Park!!!! I’m a guy, and for the first 39 years of my life I hardly ever used the same stylist twice. Then I met Kayla in 2011, when she was randomly assigned to me for a haircut at her previous place. She immediately stood out as professional and competent at her craft. Over the years she has given me great advice on what styles would make sense for me considering my hair’s attributes and what would look good on me. I recommend giving Kayla a try, she is a rare talent. If you do, I bet you’ll end up coming back.

Kayla is fantastic. I'm in my mid-twenties, and I always thought I looked horrible with long hair. Kayla's skill, attention to detail, and ability to understand and communicate her craft is unparalleled, and as a result, I've fallen in love with my hair and appearance. I've had a different hair stylist every year, because of moving or just not liking their work. If I'm lucky, I'll never have a new hair stylist again.

Kayla is fantastic! I’ve been to her twice (for cut and color) and will continue to go back. When I first came in my hair was in dire need of a complete color re-do from previously poor coloring work. Kayla masted the color correction with ease. I’ve never been to a stylist so knowledgeable and considerate of the client’s desires. Highly recommend My Hair Lady!

I have been seeing Kayla for about 5 years now. She is amazing and always does a great job. She’s good at consulting you on cuts and colors and helping you decide what would be right for you and good for your hair. We recently did a vibrant purple in my hair that has lasted 3 weeks so far with little to no fading. 10/10 would recommend to everyone!

Kayla is absolutely amazing. I've been seeing her for about 5 years and even followed her when she relocated. She started out by just waxing my eyebrows monthly because I was loyal to letting my cousin do my hair. Kayla was honest and told me how much my cousin was damaging my hair. I started letting her trim and do deep conditionings to try and help save my hair but I eventually gave in and let her start dyeing it too which couldn't have been a better choice. She has got my hair back to healthy state and has always done an amazing job with my colors. I love that she is honest and will always consult with you prior to making dramatic changes. I couldn't imagine letting anyone else do my hair!

Best hairstylist I've met in Denver, she can properly manage and, style my curly hair (it's very curly, btw)! Very lucky to know her. If you're out there, new to town, and need a trustful person to bring life back to your hair, this is the person to go visit. She will assess your hair, then she will make it work for you. Not to mention, all her sessions are one on one: you, her and, your hair, in a private suite. She's great! Highly, recommended. So, if you need a new hair lady, go and see My Hair Lady.

I tried Kayla for my first haircut and color after moving to the area a year ago, and I lucked out. I have been so happy with my cuts, and the colors have been even better. She's great about explaining each step throughout the process so I know exactly what I am getting :) Highly recommend!

I went from super long hair to a cute pixie cut almost a year ago. Kayla was recommended to me as the person to go to for this kind of change. She was the perfect hairstylist. She is like the hair whisperer. I took ideas of what I wanted knowing that it might not be exactly what the pictures were but I was still extremely happy with the cut. She listens to what you want then works with your hair to get the best cut for it. I don't live close to the salon but she is well worth the drive.

I'm so happy with my hair cut, and especially the color. It had been a long time since my last color with a different stylist, and Kayla took the time and used her expertise to get my hair presentable again. I can't remember the last time I was truly happy with my final results, so this is a treat. Kayla is no-nonsense, she understands fine hair, and she makes sure she understands you and your process so she knows how to give you not only your best-looking hair, but also makes sure the daily maintenance requirements fit your schedule and expectations at home, as well.
