Hands down Michelle O is the BEST pedicure in Lakewood!! Can’t say enough about the facility, her space and the overall experience. Have had the pleasure of meeting Michelle C for waxing, Heidi S for Botox & filler, and William for facials & micro needling. It’s a one stop shop for all your beauty needs. Would give it six stars if I could!

I’ve had such great experiences with everyone at My Salon Suite. Michelle Ortega is the only person I let do my nails. She’s knowledgeable, professional, and a lovely person. The salon is located in a very nice shopping center with plenty of parking. The atmosphere is always calm and welcoming. I always look forward to my visits.

To be clear, I am writing a review on my salon suite, not any technician inside of it. As a renter for 2 years, there were many issues and management changed often. Not to mention …no communication ever with issues in the building and false dates on repairs: From monitor, not working, to entering non”secure” door that never seems to work, to no waiting area for people who were early or late for their appointments. Also, having crazy smells in the bathroom annually, located above Chips, lots of smells and grease trap problems throughout the year. The amount of beauty technicians that stay long-term is very short, the parking lot is awful and everything seems to be closing in the shopping center, after being there for two years, I found that I was having more issues than any other place I had rented at, not to mention they have the highest rent in the area. My Salon Suite corporate and their awful staff really do cover and try to band aid the faulty AC/Heat system (HVAC system) the AC went out many times, and the two years that I least. But in August 2023, it was out for more than three weeks where they placed an AC blower in my room (5 days later) that I’m sure didn’t reach TDLR standards. To make it work they drilled a hole in the ceiling where bugs started coming in … The amount of communication I had with the owner and the management was ridiculous. It was the hottest month on record in Dallas, Texas, and they were in no hurry to fix the problems as soon as everybody started moving out (there were 8 suites out of 21 empty and open when I left at the end of September 2023.) they quickly remove all problems and paint over it and do not show the potential tenants what’s really going on in the suite you’re looking at. In particular I was in Suite 208 which I had learned had had many problems and many tenants, and when I was leaving, they were covering up everything and not showing the next potential client what was really going on in that room. There is a huge problem with balancing air and heat in this building, and to pay more to be by a window and have more problems than anything because you’re next to a window as part of the problem. They are simply too corporate, too many rules and have ridiculous demands and what you can get elsewhere is way better. My Salon Suites corporate office runs with too much red tape and they do not allow you to flourish as a hairstylist. I have been doing this over 25 years and I have never experienced being treated entire career. It is really sad in our business with the raising cost to see a corporation that we are just a number and a weekly paycheck to them instead of a small business trying to thrive. I was treated no less than a number on a weekly chart and there was no response from anyone at corporate caring about the daily issues at that location. they only have three locations and Dallas the other locations are Lake Highlands, and deep ellum, and I cannot speak on them because I did not rent at those locations. But I can tell you … the Lakewood Location is going down and so is the shopping center. The building is falling apart if you are a beauty professional, and are looking to rent a suite in Dallas, or even the Lakewood area. Do not rent here. It is awful. The building is falling apart, and this corporation does not know how to run things. I never make reviews, but I feel like I was ripped off and I feel like others will be ripped off and that is the point of this review. I have a very successful business and my clients started voicing concerns, and being honest with me once we had the AC and heat problems over and over again. My clients hated the parking lot. Also, they don’t let you know when you rent there that you will have to be closed or alter your hours certain days because of all the marathons and celebrations in the area throughout the year. The set-up and built-ins are so dated that they waste space inside your studio. Don’t rent here there are so many new options around the city that don’t have these problems. My clients are so happy I left.

Today's visit at The Dream Spa was the best experience I have ever felt. It was so personal and really made me feel like I belong here. Carlee did my facial, and she was so gentle and helpful. She walked me through every step she took while making sure I was very relaxed and comfortable. I absolutely loved the visit I had today, and I will definitely mark this place on my calendar to come back sometime in the near future. Carlee was extremely personable and professional. The look of my face after the extraction was very satisfying.

John has been my hair guy for six years now and I would never go any place else. He always gets my short-long to medium length hair looking great. He takes care of his place and has the perfect amount of consideration regarding all things related to getting your hair done.

I am a new tenant here as a full body wax specialist and I fell in love with this location to grow my business.I have searched and toured many suites around the area, but I knew this was the one. The security of the whole building is outstanding and the MSS family is super inviting. It is a clean and well kept building. I love My Salon Suite of Lakewood. My clients love the location and the privacy only a salon suite can give you. Im happy to work here because everyone is so friendly the salon suites are a really spacious and I was able to add my personal touch and decorations. I love having clean bathrooms and common areas.

LOVE love love my Salon Suite! I looked at many other salons before putting in my application here. I must say I was so impressed during my tour. So upscale! I thought the elevator and security was a nice touch! You have to buzz in to enter the salon. The first thing I noticed was how clean it was. I definitely felt safe getting back to work after just having a baby. My number 1 priority is protect myself, my children and my clients so cleanliness of my choice salon was a must! My suite is spacious, private, and the equipment is sturdy and beautiful! I love that the furniture doesn’t look outdated. The other stylist are so professional. Management is absolutely amazing and always on top of things. Definitely feels like a family. 💗

So, I am writing this review as a tenant since January 2020. This move to My Salon Suites of Lakewood could not have happened at a better time for myself, and for my clients. Especially during this trying time of COVID-19. As, an internal customer they’ve done everything to keep my business up and running. All the while keeping it as safe adhering to CDC protocols, and clean as possible for myself to return to work. As well as safe and clean for my clients to receive service.The on-site managers are very accommodating to help fulfill my needs as a business owner! The owner of the franchise is just as hands on to ensure you are happy. Thank you!

The salons are private and so much easier to converse. I love the atmosphere. I see John Vega there who is without a doubt the most talented man with a pair of siccors you will ever meet. He stays current and cuts with such precision that your hair will look incredible for weeks on end!

My hair stylist works here and the facility is awesome. There's a side entrance with a elevator and stairs and there's a secured door that only opens to your appointment for clients which is great security. Beautifully designed and sophisticated.
