I had to pay for entire service when half my hair was burnt and the highlights aren't visible. I dont know how it's possible to burn when hair was unprocessed prior! Damonique put toner too dark. She has 1.5 star reviews, should have seen it before trusting her!

Got a professional beautifully done haircut in a private setting one on one you can't beat that easy to social distance easy to feel safe and secure easy to get a nice haircut from a professional

I found her from a group on FB, Sarasota Mom’s. I had asked for a recommendation since I was new to the area and needed to find a new stylist for our family. She commented on my post and when I looked into her FB biz pageI thought it looked good, so I made an appointment to have my two daughters haircuts and off we went. WELL…it wasn’t so good. I should have taken the red flags as they came but I wanted to not judge too soon. My lesson. At the shop I could see my youngest’s hair (pictured below) was so off. She did try to fix it when she stood up and my daughter commented on how uneven on one side it was but it ended up super short in trying to fix it (not what my daughter wanted at all). Domonique even told my daughter that if she took really good care of her hair it should grow an inch in a week because my daughter was so upset her hair was now soo short. I know that wasn’t true but I didn’t say anything about the hair growth. I let her continue cutting my other daughters hair but I watched her super intently. I didn’t want her to mess up her hair too. I wanted to not put her on the spot or make her feel bad about herself so I decided to just leave and when I got home assess. But when I got home, I combed out her hair and that’s when I noticed it was soo uneven. Choppy. Long pieces sticking out all over it. That’s when I approached her via messenger (how we communicated to set up the appointments) to rectify the situation by asking for a refund and it wasn’t handled well. Their lesson. I ended up going to get it fixed by someone else. EDIT: days later, they reached out to apologize and refunded us some of our money.

This has been an adventure for sure. Our two daughters had their hair butchered by Domonique. We paid $50 for two haircuts. We also paid $75 to lighten the blue in our youngest daughters hair. We let Domonique know that we were very unhappy with the haircuts and sent photos to show what we were talking about. When we asked for a refund she said she would (via messenger). Then the following morning we were told she would not give us a refund. Mind you we were only talking about the $50, we weren’t talking about the $75 for removing color, which by the way was also done very poorly as it didn’t lighten at all. On top of it we were also not asking for the $15 dollar tip my wife gave her. Now that we have reviewed her work online, Domonique has taken to social media and is slandering my wife. We have never in our lives dealt with a business owner who won’t own up to their mistakes and then flip it around on the customer like it was their fault. Me or my wife didn’t take our daughters home and chop at their hair. We ended up taking them to a professional to get their hair fixed. I would not recommend getting work done by Domonique and I think you can see why.

A perfect personalized one on one session in an enclosed suite with large glass doors. Very clean, relaxing atmosphere and the best part is my sister is the best hairstylist! Her scalp massages are bonus! She naturally cares and loves what she does and it shows. 🤗
