I’ve been a client of My’s since 2015, and I’ve never looked back. Before finding her, I was seeing another stylist at a different salon who did a terrible job, leaving me feeling uncomfortable and dissatisfied with my hair. My was the complete opposite—her warm and welcoming personality immediately put me at ease, and she made me feel comfortable from the very first appointment. What I appreciate most about My is her honesty and dedication to hair health. She doesn’t sugarcoat things—whether it’s telling me, “Blue will make your hair fall out, so I won’t do it,” (though I realllly want to go blue 🥲) or advising me to wait another session before going blonder. She truly cares about the integrity of my hair and always sets realistic expectations. Over the years, My has transformed my salon visits from something I dreaded into something I look forward to—like catching up with an old friend. Not only is her work absolutely amazing, but she consistently goes above and beyond for each and every client. I’m so grateful to have found her, and she’s the only person I trust with my hair—so much so that I happily drive an hour and a half each way just to see her. At this salon, you are family regardless of how often you decide you visit.

I have been going to My Stylist salon for 6 years now and it’s the only place I would go to get my hair done. My and her team are great at what they’re doing, and they work well together as a team. Each one of them were trained the same way by My and no matter which stylist you see, the end result ALWAYS turns out to be great. Before meeting My, I would consistently change stylist because I was never satisfy with the results. I’ve been going to My for 7 years and she never disappoint! Not only I get compliments by family and friends but strangers would ask for my stylist all the time. The best part is she knows exactly what I like without me having to explain it or show examples. Aside from her talented work, I enjoyed our conversations every visit and she remembers the little details of my life. So glad I found My and gained a friend!

I have been going to My since 2014 when she didn't have her own salon yet and she is the first hairdresser that I'm completely loyal to and never made me wonder if there was someone better or there for me. I first went a few months before my wedding to get her signature balayage in a very natural brown which was super trendy at the time. Over the years I've tried different shades and lengths with her and it always turned out perfect. From my short lob in ashy grey with lavender tone to very light blonde babylights on my Asian hair. Whatever I ask for, My always delivers. And when I want to switch it up and I am not even sure what I want, I can trust her blindly to pick what's best for me. I highly recommend her services to anyone. I promise that you won't be disappointed!

I have been seeing My for over 10 years for hair coloring from brown to blonde to brown, lol. From the first time I sat in her chair, My made me feel comfortable and welcomed. She has been consistent throughout the years with her work and her positive attitude. I've had a chance to watch her grow from a single stylist to training many talented stylists. You can tell she has high expectations of her team and she will re-do your hair if she finds the smallest error made by another stylist. My is a pro with Asian hair and always gives me the perfect ashy highlights—they never get brassy and I always get a ton of compliments. The salon is super cute and clean, and there’s plenty of parking out front!

I’ve been coming to My’s salon for over a decade now! We’ve done blonde for years, along with other colors in between (blue, pink, purple, silver). Recently, I just went back to dark and I’m amazed at what My can do in just 1 session. She keeps my hair healthy and I enjoy our hair dates. My is a great friend and will keep you honest on what works for your hair goals. The salon is beautiful and the girls there are nice too. Love it!

I’ve been going to My Stylist salon for years. Even when I lived out of state, I’d find myself always coming back to get my hair blessed by My. She’s helped me achieve my hair goals from going blonde, trying out fashion colors and back to dark! I highly recommend coming here if you want to leave with beautiful hair every time. I’ve been going to My since 2018 but unfortunately moved to the East Bay during Covid so took a bit of a break. During the last 4 years I’ve tried several stylists and no one compares to My. She helped me with a color correction and my hair looked better than it had in years! Her attention to detail with baby-lights is unmatched and she always chooses the perfect toner. Whatever your hair needs are I can’t recommend My Stylist Salon enough! Also, her new location is amazing, a lot more parking and she decorated flawlessly!

Let me start by saying I fly all the way from Colorado to get my hair done by My. This review has been a long time coming. I’ve been with My for 8 years. I’m from Colorado and was visiting my boyfriend’s family here when I first came across My in 2017. I came to her salon hoping to get babylights, because I saw her page and was so impressed with her work. However, she turned me down because my hair was severely damaged, then she told me to come back in a year. Some people might get offended by that, but I actually appreciated it because it meant that she didn’t just want my money. I knew then that I could trust her, because she had been extremely transparent with me. My always listens to my request in regards to my hair, and if we couldn’t achieve that then she would inform me honestly that it might be out of reach at that time of the specific appt. I like really blonde hair but My would express her professional opinion when she’s unsure if my hair can handle going that light. And that’s what I like about her is that she won’t push my hair, and I completely understand because she just doesn’t want my hair to be ruined. And I WOULD RATHER HER TELL ME THAT THAN JUST LISTEN TO MY REQUEST IF IT MEANT MY HAIR WILL FALL OUT A LOT. She’s a miracle worker, and it might have taken a few appointments but she got my hair to where I wanted. From then on, we formed a bond that grew into friendship. As soon as you come into the salon, My would and her employees would always ask what you’d like to drink. She’d bring her clients ginger shots or sourdough bread that she made from home. She’d often get me boba :) She would always check on me and see how my health is doing. She truly cares about her clients. I have never gone anywhere else even if it means flying here all the way from CO to get my hair done, because she’s the combination of talented, honest, and caring. She’s very giving and she always thinks about her clients, and I’ve seen firsthand how a lot of her clients bring her gifts like a plant or a drink. I truly love seeing her relationship with her clients, because it’s a testament of her quality traits. So yeah, my trust and loyalty stands with My.

Love going to My every. Single. Time! My first time I went to My was 7 years ago! I was distraught I was told by other salons that I can’t get blonde, it’s impossible. I went to My and you know she made it happen! My longest relationship I’ve had, only relationship that makes me happy LOL jk. The music is good, the stylists and other clients are friendly and you leave feeling good about yourself thanks to My and her talented team. Even after moving 3 hours away I still make time to come every few months for our hair date because there is no one that can work their magic like the My Stylist Salon team. Prior to meeting My and her team, I've always had a problem finding a stylist that could get my hair to the cool/ ashy shade of blonde that I wanted. In my first session with My, she was able to get my hair from an orange blonde to the perfect ashy blonde I've always dreamt of. The quality of work that My Stylist Salon provides cannot be beat. My and her team are fantastic! I've been going to My and her team since 2023, so I'm newer to My's salon, but her and her team treat you like you've been going there forever. My hair always looks amazing afterwards, and with the right care, it stays looking amazing. She's done fun colors and more neutral colors. She is very caring and will always brighten your day! Also, her interior design skills are amazing as well so you walk into a beautiful salon. My most recent color adventure was back to the darker side with an ashy earl gray look. The owner of this salon, My, is truly exceptional at her craft. She trains all of her girls so well, so you really can’t go wrong with any of her stylists. The salon itself is comfortable and modern, there’s always good music playing in the background, and you’re offered a beverage as soon as you’re seated. I live in SF and make the hour-long drive down every few months, because there is no salon in the city that can even compare to My Stylist. This will be my go-to salon for life (or for as long as I have hair)!

This review is long overdue. I haven’t found anyone this good when it comes to hair coloring. I have been going to My for over 5 years now. There is no one that I can trust with my hair anymore. She is so passionate with her work that you just want to keep coming back for more. I have gotten so many compliments and my hair never looked better. Great service, friendly environment, and my hair always turns out how I envision it better. But my stylist will definitely consult with me on what is healthiest and/or what is best for the next time I decide to color my hair a different color (lighter or darker/red or blonde).

I love my stylist Jenifer and her entire team! They’re all so sweet and attentive from beginning to end!
