Best salon ever, all the ladies are welcoming, hairstyles are very modern band sleek. Very clean and 5 star worthy, especially the wash was the highlight, all I can say is “Magic hands” exist at this spot. Def recommend 10/10 👍🏾

I had exhausted every braid style and was tired of doing my hair in general. I considered locs in the past but was always skeptical about whether I could commit to the process. I saw a post about Sheri’s journey and decided to book a consultation. The minute I walked into the salon I was sold. Sheri and her staff were rocking microlocs. Representation is key! I instantly fell in love and knew from that moment I was ready for the journey. I was greeted by name and very impressed by the camaraderie between Sheri and her staff. The atmosphere in the salon is so warm and relaxing you feel like you’re at home. Prior to my consultation, I researched other salons, but I choose Myss Berri for her transparency. She responded to inquiries on her post and not “DM me” like others did. Clean, professional, friendly, warm, inviting, I could go on and on. I highly recommend this salon.

I had my micro loc install and maintenance done here. Sherri was great everyone there is friendly and the salon is a whole vibe. I go somewhere else for maintenance now due to my schedule. But I tell everyone about where my install was done and it's also a great place for braids and all kinds of natural hair care.

I have been going to this Salon since 2018, Sheri brought my natural hair back to life when I was thinking of getting another big chop. Went back to her every quarter for my wash and blow, treatment, silk press and trim. She truly took good care of my hair. I decided to get microlocs installed December 2022 at her salon and have been going back monthly for my reties. I recently moved to New Jersey and still make the trip there for my monthly wash and retie. I love that a wash is included with the retie because upon moving and searching for a closer salon I realized more and more salons/locticians no longer offer a wash with your retie. This salon has a good sense of community/sisterhood: Tatiana did my install but I’ve had her, Sheri, Jameka and Natalie retie my microlocs as well based on availability and they are all professional and welcoming. Highly recommend!

I love the salon vibes and the stylist who have worked on my retwist. I especially look forward to getting my hair washed it always feels fresh and super clean afterwards. The shop gives old school hair shop vibes that’s how you know the work produced in there is great. The vibes are immaculate there is conversations flowing and music playing. It such a warm, inviting and relaxing place to have your hair done. I decided to get my microlocs after endless tiktok and IG searches when I found myssberris salon I booked a consultation and I had my install appt about two weeks later. I have been obsessed with my hair ever since !

I met the owner at the beauty supply store and she told me about her shop noticing my curly fro. I had a great experience here! Great wash and condition with good attention to detail about towards my hairs health. This was my first time going for my natural curly hair ( define my curls) so I was very impressed with their knowledge on my hair type. I asked questions and they were receptive/ gave good advice for aftercare. For anybody looking for a place to start taking care of their natural hair this place has you covered. Will be visiting soon for a trim!

I’m a new client to the salon but from my very first consultation I knew my newly established micro locs would be in the right hands. I came in as a transfer client and Jameeka took the time to explain to me what was need to get my hair on track since I had not had a retie since establishing my locs (over 4 months). My first retie experience did not disappoint and the ladies are pretty quick considering I have A LOT of hair. I’m so grateful I found MyssBerri Salon. This was after searching for months and having had consults with two other stylists. It was well worth the wait! The ladies there are professional and they know hair.

I’ve known of MyssBerri’s salon since COVID began. I did not become an official customer til I learned that they offered microloc services because I was ready for something new and something low (ish!) maintenance that granted me my freedom to think of something other than my next hairstyle. From consultation to my 7th (wow!) microloc retie, I am so thankful that I made my decision. I take my self-care seriously and love to cultivate relationships with those who make me feel like my best self. The salon energy gives modern but old-school salon vibes. On my first visit I got a silk press and trim and when I tell you it was one of my best experiences in a hair salon. I was greeted warmly and led straight to the washing area,. My hair was washed with a shampoo that smelled so amazing and made my scalp tingle, the conditioner was even better. Afterwards I was placed under some steam machine thing that also felt amazing. At no point did I have to wait. My hair came out amazing l got some hair education and left feeling and looking great.

Sheri brought my hair back to life after another hair dresser damaged it claiming they knew how to color hair & got mad when I didn’t want to commit to coming every 2 weeks to rehab my hair. 🙄 I’ve been following Sheri since 2017 because she actually cares about the health of your hair and isn’t trying to sell you a dollar and a dream.

This might be a long post so here goes. I had traditional locs for a lot of years. I wanted a change because I found that my hair wasn’t growing and it was really dry all the time. So I researched micro/sister locs (there is a difference). I did a lot of research, like a lot with regard to cost, maintenance and styling, as micro locs is expensive. During my research I found Sheri and I said “she’s the one”. The one thing that I found with Sheri compared to others was her bluntness (not in a bad way). She just knew what she was talking about and her knowledge of hair was what made me know that I would wait as long as I had to for an appointment. Anyway, I finally got an appointment in July and what we planned on doing with my hair turned out to be better than the plan. I am so happy that I was able to have her magical hands do my hair. She and her staff are pleasant and funny. I am 5 months into this new journey and I’m loving it. I told her I’m going to be that pain in the butt client and so far I have been 😂 Thank you Sheri and staff!
