I’m not the type to post a negative review. That said, my fiancé and I went for a manicure and pedicure. Our experiences couldn’t be different. I called to see if two walk-in pedicures could be seen today. I know how hard nail techs work , so if we couldn't be seen today I understood and I’d book an appointment. I was told it was 25 minutes. We arrived and were immediately told where to sit. My fiancé couldn’t figure out the controls and a staff member promptly set their control so it started- AWESOME. A different person, the gentleman in the Lacoste shirt, filled our tubs. Mine was a bit warm but I knew I had calluses on my feet and the hot water would make it easier to scrape off. My fiancé had very hot water and spoke up. The gentleman used a bucket to add cold water to their bath and soon my fiancé was in a warm bath for their feet. The gentleman sat down in front of me and began what was best described as a lack-luster pedicure. Knowing that my feet hadn’t received adequate attention; my thought was “eh, this is what you get. This man deserves a big tip.” While my finances feet were in slightly better condition and his experience was vastly different. We decided we did want manicures too. I received the worst manicure I’ve ever received. No nail/cuticle soak, rushed work on my nails, and the gentleman asking for payment before nail polish was even applied. My fiancé, on the other hand had a glorious experience. He received the hand massage, extra attention to cuticle, etc. after my nails dried, my partner was still getting his hands massaged. I loudly exclaimed to my fiance that my experience was so different that I refused to give gratuity to “my guy” and I’d meet him in the car.. in fairness, it’s a mixed bag. If you’re not getting what you think or know from a mani-pedi, speak up or speak to another staff member. There are great people and terrible people at the same place.

I very rarely write reviews about nail salons but I’m compelled to write one today. I got a manicure done and I love how it turned out. The experience was great too and especially at price point. I was a walk-in and within 10-15 mins, someone was available to get my nails done. Parking was easy and free. Needless to say, I will be back.

AMY is the best nail tech here. She is always super kind, when she went away to Vietnam I was super disappointed and had to go someone else. They did not compare to her work.

Amy did my acrylic nails the first time and all was good. 2nd time she came in with an attitude.I asked if she was ok? She was very rough and filed my skin. I told her the fill was too thick and she really coped an attitude. She did not bring the fill to the edges and there were gaps under my nail and the acrylics. Needless to say she did a terrible job and I had to take 2 nails off myself 1 week later because they both had fungus under the acrylics. I would not recommed her.

Had my first pedicure with this particular nail salon. Perfection! By far one of the best experiences I’ve had getting a pedi. I do believe I’ve found my new place!

Slow service, poor communication. I decided to try Nails 1 for a walk in gel mani/pedi. When I arrived I was not greeted by any staff members. I sat and waited for someone to acknowledge me for 20 minutes. A man who I presume to be a manager asked what I was there for, which I then told him a gel mani/pedi . I sat an additional 20 minutes in the waiting room to be finally seated in a pedicure spa chair. I decided to leave after waiting an additional 15 minutes without anyone approaching me. Will not be returning! This is the worst communication I have witnessed in a nail salon.

My Mom and I have been going to Nails One for forever, and I just have to say this place is the best! Everyone is so good, kind, and welcoming. Amy is so sweet and one of the best and most gentle nail techs I have ever had, she gets my nails right every time! (: Highly recommend Nails One

I’ve been a customer for years and am always pleased. Mary is my nail tech and she is wonderful. Her technique is great and I trust her to help me pick colors and styles that work for my hands and also suit my lifestyle. She’s super sweet too!

Sorry, I can't even give one star. Listen ladies, - unless you have some sort of super acrylic nails, or thick crazy wonderful natural nails, don't let yourself be manhandled by this place. They use harsh metal spinning files. As anyone knows, if used incorrectly (in a hurry) this removal process ruins the natural nail. I use dip nails but same thing applies to gel. I had 3 men try and use this harsh metal round drill file. Yes, I kept getting passed around to all the men in this salon. The BOSS, doesn't like it if you don't like those metal drills. If you ask for a less harsh removal of dip using a gentle file, BOSS does not like it at all. Especially if he is the one trying a different file. But he likes to keep going down to the nailbed BEFORE he wraps! BOSS is really kind of a jerk. I asked him to stop because he was still spinning that file when he passed the polish and hit my real nail! - Then he told me to leave. Attitude! Won't recommend to anyone, nor will I be back! Update: So, I walked out of this Nails One Salon, I went to a salon not far away over the 40th street bridge with mostly women and had not one bit of trouble. They used a very light round drill file, quick, easy, light handed and wrap for 6 minutes and NO trouble getting dip nail polish off. TaDa! AND I still had my normal nail thickness. Polish looks great as well. When the S-E-A-S-O-N-A-L for nails (hint) is here, shop around!

The worst experience ever and it’s not the first time I’ve had this problem. The products they use don’t stay on I was charged $15 for my nails and my feet each to have gel polish on so total of $30 and in a matter of two days that polish was falling off and chipping off, they did offer to fix it but the whole reason I paid for gel polish is because I don’t have the time to keep painting my nails. I asked for a refund and he refused to give me back the the money I spent on it. Not to mention the very rude and disrespectful customers that are in there also.

best place ever amy is the best she did my nails! super clean place with the friendliest staff ever! they were super nice and polite to me! they even gave me a free cold water and hot towel and massage! i just got the cat eye with ombré and it was amazing!!! will come back and be a regular! love love love it!!!💗💗

Extremely dirty. They don't sanitize anything!!! The quality of gel manicure is terrible. I will have to go somewhere else to fix it.

Came here with my mom on a whim while in the area for the weekend. This place is so clean for being a "strip mall" nail salon! Everyone is very friendly and we got in right away. Good quick pedi, and even got hot towels without having to ask or be added on. As someone who also works in a salon, it was nice to see all of the staff working together to help each other catch up in between clients. The likelihood we will be back in this area to revisit isn't high, so I wanted to leave them a good review so others know this is a legit spot! No complaints from someone who has gotten many pedicures from many different places around the states!

I got my nails done for the first time in nearly a decade. I had an appointment and showed up about 10 minutes early. They took me to the pedicure chair and there I sat. Awkwardly sitting there while everyone else has their feet in the water just relaxing, nobody came to fill my tub to soak my feet. Eventually they came to fill it. My feet were soaking for maybe 5 minutes with luke warm water. They used a pummace stone on my feet instead of ghe grater to get my calluses and dead skin off like the did for the lady next to me. My pedicure was beyond rushed whike the lady next to me was still sitting and relaxing (she was there befofe me even). I then sit for my manicure. My cuticles were absolutely destroyed. I paid over $85 for a gel mani/pedi. This was a treat for myself for my Anniversary. They looked "ok" when I left the shop. Within 24 hours, the clear coat and the polish around the edges started to lift away from my skin. There are also sections around my tips that are damaged due to them filing my nails after they were painted? I've never seen this done before. To have spent so much money on something I never do for myself and have it not hold up or look decent after a day is very upsetting. I would have gone back to have it corrected but we had left the following day for our anniversary trip and weren't in the area. I won't be returning to this location, just wishing I had a better experience. I posted photos to show the paint being rippled/pulled away from my skin and lifted. As well as the areas where after my nails were filed, it took the edges of paint off.

I've went two times in the past 2 months for pedis and I get acrylic big toenails. Both times I've had to fix it myself at home. I tell them the issue (acrylic is lumpy, big toenails are different lengths), and they old me it's fine and that no one will look that closely 🙃 the man today told me that my nails are different shapes, but that doesn't explain why he didn't even them out. I was also charged $10 more for a fill on the big toes than acually applying new acrylic last time. Now the polish on one of the big toes is chipped. I like this shop but this is foolish.

There are a few good techs I have had in the past here. But not today, and this visit is what will have me never return. I had a guy do my nails WHILE FALLING ASLEEP SEVERAL TIMES. He kept nodding off. It took 2 HOURS for a gel mani and pedi, and they don’t look great like they have in the past with a different tech. While trimming my cuticles, he cut my skin, ABOVE my nail, and it was bleeding. He wiped it with alcohol and a cotton ball. Then used the purple square thing while there was still blood on my finger… yikes. Not to mention he continuously kept looking at the clock.. and didn’t say anything to me the entire 2 hours or ask how I wanted the shape of my nails… again yikes. Won’t be back.

This is by far my favorite nail salon in the area. I’ve tried so many other salons in the Gibsonia/Etna/Pittsburgh area, and it’s hard to top this location. All of the workers are nice, and I’m always so happy with my nails and toes.

This is by far the best mail shop I have ever been to. The service was excellent 5 star. My nail tech was very friendly. They give you a sugar scrub massage, followed by lotion that is also massaged into the skin. After that you get a hot towel then they paint the nails. Best salon I have ever been too. FYI I did not see a way to tip my nail tech so maybe ask if you can add the tip or bring cash to tip.

I must say, my first experience at this salon was not great but then I found my unicorn, Amy! Amy is the sweetest, most gentle nail artist I’ve ever gone to. She’s always a ray of sunshine and does an amazing job. It’s always a pleasant, relaxing experience when I get my nails done by her and I’m never worried that I won’t like them! Here’s the last 2 sets she’s done, I couldn’t be more pleased.

I’ve been coming to nails one for 2 years now. I finally found a salon that’s flexible, reliable, and consistent! Plus the employees are all so nice and talented. It’s a salon where I can have any nail tech and be so happy with the results!!! Highly recommend
