This salon is NOT worth the money! I came in from out of town with my family and got terrible customer service. We did have to call and delay our appointment because of unexpected issues with our travel plans but regardless, that does not call for bad service. I knew it would be a bad experience when i walked in and they were immediately rude and started perking up when other customers walked in. The staff was talking poorly about us the whole time, I had a translator app on for that exact reason. The only sterilization for the feet baths was a reused rag and a bottle of spray, a simple wipe down and the next client sat down. Me and my family all got the same service but they were all delivered differently. Some sort of liquid was put on my existing polish to get it off and that substance got on my skin and burned badly. I tried to rub and itch the area and she splashed the feet bath water on it and continued. Out of town clients should be shown the same respect as regulars. They rushed our service and put no care into it. They also refused to do nail art on my family member because they had “no time” for simple nail art. Highly do NOT recommend! and the toilet was out of toilet paper when i used it!!

I received a no chip manicure yesterday that is unevenly painted, has see through spots and honestly one of the worst no chips I’ve ever received. The technician was very nice and took her time but she is either new or doesn’t mind letting customers leave this way.

My experience was great, service fast and very affordable ($28 standard manicure no polish) I got a great quality manicure I didn’t even expect.

DO NOT GET YOUR EYEBROWS WAXED HERE! My girlfriend went to get her eyebrows waxed before an international trip and they burned/peeled off her skin. Unacceptable.

I love this place! I’ve yet to find another salon that puts Gel X on correctly. Anywhere else they start lifting within a week but here they last 3-4 weeks before I come in for a new set and it’s just because of grow out they don’t lift! I love them and will continue to come here!

Extremely clean nail spa. You can tell the management staff takes pride in the upkeep of the facility. No mold or mildew smell that I thought was norm these days. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Cost is reasonable compared to what has been paid in the suburbs, which was somewhat surprising. My wife and I definitely will be back next time we spend the day in the city.

Nice clean salon. No frills but nice staff and comfortable service. Easy to get in and out. Appointments are honored and kept. No wait whenever I go. Please note, I’ve never been a a walk-in. I always make an appointment beforehand.

An okay nail studio and would be fine to get a mani/pedi there. BUT be prepared to wait, even if you have an appointment. Every time I've been there (always with an appointment), I've had to wait 10 to 15 minutes before they start. The last time I went, I waited almost 30 minutes and ended up having to cancel and leave. If you don't mind them consistently running behind or if you have time to wait, then sure, they are an okay studio.

Great nail salon, they shape my nails really well and take their time do things well. Making an appointment will ensure you can get your nails done when you want to! My gel manicures last 4 weeks without chipping.

I had my first appointment with Tamir today for gel x and it was an amazing experience. Manda and all the staff are super friendly. Tamir did a fantastic job and was extremely attentive to detail. I asked for almond French tip and I am so happy with the result. I definitely recommend this nail salon.

I've been here twice now, and I'm very impressed. They take their time to make sure your nails are perfect. My last gel lasted 3.5 weeks without chipping or peeling at all. I'll definitely be returning in another 3 weeks!

Terrible service. Booked appointment thru class pass and received confirmation. When I came, they said they cancelled my reservation. If you cannot perform, do not offer. Have been to this studio before but would definitely neither go back nor recommend.

Wish I could give zero stars. This place is not clean and two of their nail techs (Soko S. and Sonya E.) should have their licenses revoked. Their terrible sanitation practices gave me fungus! I went to this salon on December 13 and saw Soko S. for a no chip pedicure. Two weeks later, I went back on December 29 and saw Sonya E. Sonya took off my no chip gel and it was clear she could tell something was off. She took a moment to inspect my big toe nail but then continued on with the service by cutting and filing the rest of my toenails. I didn't think much of it since I was on my phone. But then when it was time to put on the gel nail polish, I took a glance at my toes and noticed a large pale yellow/whiteish spot on one of my big toes. I thought this might be left over gel that wasn't properly filed off. I asked Sonya if she was going to finish taking off the gel. Sonya told me that discoloration was my nail, not gel. Then she touched the discolored spot on my nail and said it was soft.... I looked closer and asked her if it was an infection/ fungus/ bruise. I thought I might have stubbed my foot on something. But then I rationalized that if that were the case, my nail would probably look bruised and purple/dark red. Sonya just shrugged. I asked Sonya if it was maybe a fungus. Again, she had nothing to say. I told Sonya that I had been to their salon two weeks before. Yet again, Sonya had nothing to say and just shrugged. She tried continuing with the no chip pedicure. Clearly, all she cared about was continuing the service so she could make money. I had to tell her NOT put any gel on my nails. After paying and tipping, I immediately left and went to an urgent care clinic where a doctor confirmed my fear. Toenail fungus. I asked what could be the cause, the doctor immediately said it was from a pedicure / going to a nail salon. I later called the salon to speak with a manager. The girl on the phone said a manager was not available but that she would pass along my message and that a manager would contact me soon. It is now about a full week later and I still haven not heard from a manager. I have been to salons all over the city (both high end and low end). I have given myself regular nail polish pedicures at home. I have given myself no chip pedicures at home. I have NEVER had an issue. There is no doubt in my head that this salon does not follow proper sanitation practices. Because if they did, I would NOT have fungus on my toenail. What's worse is Sonya could tell something was off with my nail and still wanted to give me a pedicure. That must be against protocol. She should have stopped the service. Instead, I had to tell her to stop. There are regulations galore to be licensed and it's clear this salon and their techs don't properly clean.

Absolutely LOVE Nailtastic! The manager and staff are so welcoming and always help me pick my color since I can never make up my mind! Every manicure and pedicure I've had turns out outstanding and lasts extremely long. This is the best nail salon in Chicago.  Don't go anywhere else!

I come here all the time and normally have a great experience, but today I came in for a no chip manicure before a trip and within 30 mins of leaving the salon 2 nails have already chipped. Extremely disappointed

I made an appointment online. I never received confirmation of my appointment until I called to confirm. According to website, it should take 1hr 15 minutes for no chip mani/pedi. Since this was my lunch break that amount of time for service would more than suffice. Unfortunately, my services took 2 hours. I received these services late afternoon on Thursday. Today is Saturday, my polish has chipped off of two nails. One of my thumbs is half painted. Considering this service cost over $100, it should last longer than an at home mani. I gave 2 stars because the place and worker was professional. However, I am totally unsatisfied with their services.

Literally THE BEST nail experience I've ever had in Chicago! I've been to every nail place and spa in River North and the surrounding neighborhoods and this place blows them all out of the water. It was a 10/10 from start to finish. I got a no chip manicure and a pedicure and my nails look PINTEREST PERFECT! I think this is the first time I've ever come home and actually loved my nails. LOL. The place is cute, clean and very calming, and the staff is great! I'm so mad at myself for not trying this place sooner, but also relieved to have found a great place so close by :) I hope you try it too!

My first time there and I will definitely be going back. I had both a mani and pedi, and they turned out great. The entire experience was enjoyable in a quiet, calm and clean atmosphere. I was told the salon is under new ownership, and it looks as though they're taking pride in their investment.
