maria did a wonderful job!! i got a russian manicure and I highly recommend her. everyone was super friendly and the atmosphere was clean and peaceful. i’d give six stars if I could book maria guys :)))

Unhappy with the experience. Eyebrow mapping was beautiful the first time I went. I took a picture that day and showed it to the woman who did my eyebrows today. She thinned out my eyebrows and even left hair behind between my brows. Sloppy. She started arguing with me when I told her she took too much off. I’m unsure if I will come back to find the original girl who did my brow mapping. What a shame.

My 6th visit to the place, I’ve always been happy with the service up until the last time. At one point the brow technician asked if I had pets because there was a scratch near my eyebrow. I don’t have pets and when I left the house an hour before the scratch wasn’t there. I understand accidents can happen - just apologize, don’t gaslight. Won’t be back and won’t be recommending this place anymore.

Russian manicure was just a gel manicure. Waste of time and money here as my nails are already chipping only an hour after leaving the salon, not to mention a ton of paint was left on my skin on every finger. Complete disaster

Literally the BEST EYEBROW PLACE EVER !!!! Tenzin at the front desk is SUPER nice and their shaping is amazing !!!! Ask for Noshi she’s AMAZING!!!!!

Not sure what happened but def did not have a Russian manicure. Upon arriving the nail tech was doing another techs nails. She said gel and I thought she meant color selection. My nails were filed but there wasn’t any high end treatment to the cuticles. They were softened and cut like a regular mani. A pink builder was used and then color but this really felt fast and like normal mani. No discussion at all, no use of any tools to really drill the cuticle area prior to doing the next step. It felt rushed too like she was trying to beat the clock and she was filing too hard that my cuticle skin area was sensitive. She did realize as she apologized and lucky enough it wasn’t ripped open. I saw the good reviews and was looking for the hyped Russian mani but this wasn’t it . Just an overpriced rushed gel mani…

I had a great experience at Nampa’s place. I came with no appointment and they were happy to treat me at the moment. The place is very clean and welcoming and the girls professional and kind. Highly recommended.

Price was reasonable. Spacious / clean. However, I will not be going back for the following reason: My original appointment was at 4:45. I waited 10 minutes only to be asked to come back in 30 minutes... 🤯 So we rebooked for 5:30 - but when I went back, I still waited for another 15 minutes. I was getting really anxious / annoyed esp since I had dinner plans (I communicated w them before that I'd need to get out by 6:20) The technician managed to get it done fast (on time for my dinner) but I was really offended by how they manage customers' time...

9/1/24: Sonia says she’s moved to Nampa, the new spa! Go there for THE best place for the quick, easy and painless threading she is known for! Threading can often be a boring experience for both parties: both the employee and the client. Sonia is not only fast and efficient, but a true delight: so cheerful, fun to talk to! She is the only person for me now. they have a new spa called Nampa down the street that looks gorgeous too. everyone is so nice. Truly a reliable threading spot.

My husband and I were in staying in midtown while visiting our son. I took the opportunity to get a mani/pedi and tame the caterpillar crawling across my forehead. If you live, work or are visiting near here, you MUST come to Nampa! I wish I’d taken ‘before’ pics to show the true talent of the staff. Everyone was friendly and professional. The salon is beautiful and clean and the product/output is the BEST I’ve experienced. I wish they had a salon in Atlanta!

Stay away! On my 5th visit to this salon, the woman who did my eyebrows completely destroyed them. I had left my eyebrows untouched for over 5 weeks. I specifically told the woman, clean up only, not thin. She not only did the opposite but also for some reason shortened the length on my left eyebrow. Absolutely destroyed. Never again will I go to this salon and advise anyone thinking of going to stay away. I now have to let me eyebrows grow again to get my shape back. Wish I could give zero stars.

UPDATE: (read the whole thing for a happy ending!) 5/9 - Unfortunately, following my service with Anastasia (reviewed below), two of my nails broke after only two days. As the days continued to pass, my nails continued to break and deteriorate. BUT - I called Nampa to explain what was happening and they immediately rescheduled me with Bernice for a redo. I’m SO glad I gave Nampa the chance to make it right, because Bernice was amazing. She truly made me feel so cared for and safe in her hands, especially after all my nails had been through. She was impeccably hygienic, very skilled, and meticulous about the finished look. To the salon manager, Tenzen, thank you sincerely for making this such a pleasant “do over” experience! ORIGINAL REVIEW: First Russian Mani, ever. I can’t say enough good things! Nampa is impeccably clean, and is run by top-notch professionals. I felt immediately comfortable in the space, even though similarly “fancy” vibes at different salons have made me feel uncomfortable in the past. There is no pretension here; just peace, luxury and self-indulgence. Ask for Anastasia for your Russian - she’s only in on Tuesdays but it’s worth it! I’m sure all the techs are great, but she talked me through the process and helped me understand how the nail service differs from others. I made an impulse-purchase and chose to try a lash-tint. Another great experience!

THE staff was great Tenzin was so helpful and patient. The eyelash lady was so fast and 4 days later in 90 degree weather I have barely lost any.

Tenzin is an absolute delight. I gifted my daughter a full days spa treatment and they went above and beyond for her. Definitely scored some brownie points 😂 with this one. I'm sure most of you can relate, when it comes to our bodies and faces, we are particular and always looking for the best. When I moved from Chicago to NYC in 2018, I was so nervous that I wouldn't be able to find anyone to do my threading and waxing the way my ladies back home had been doing for over 15 years. Surprisingly, I found this gem of a place, even though it's across town from me, and I haven't had to look elsewhere since! Himalayan has the best service, chillest vibe, and they are always on point! Sonya is my go-to lady and she's kind, funny, and efficient! I love that I can be in and out for a leg wax and threading in less than 30 mins! I'm pretty sure my commute takes longer than the services, but it's always worth the trek across town.

They are reliable but just a standard eyebrow threading place. Recent price hike is excessive. I now go to a place that does the same job but for half the price.

I LOVE Nampa! I followed them from their original location (Himalayan Salon) around the corner, which was fine, but much smaller. The lash technicians are top-notch. These ladies are wonderfully attentive to detail, and to a luxury experience in general. I am always very pleased with the results and my lashes last and last. Do yourself a favor and try them. You won’t regret it!!

I got a gel X with a Russian Manicure and I couldn’t be happier with the quality care & service I received. Martha was an absolute sweetheart. She took her time with my nails and got me the exact nail design I wanted. So happy to have found my new nail home 💗

I’ve been going to Himalayan Salon for threading for years and just tried Nampa (their new location) this week. The place is absolutely beautiful and it’s really convenient that they’ve expanded to cover so many additional services in one location. The ladies are experts at what they do, and are friendly and answer any questions you have!
