Love my hair! I always feel like I am :"Queen" for the day. Knowledgeable staff excellent hair products. Highly recommend you come in relax and enjoy being pampered! Kasey Whitfield is the best stylish. She really listens to what you want. Love her!

Porter did a great job . he is the first hairdresser I've found in years who actually knows how to do a natural strawberry blonde color. he also did great layering. the young girl who waxed and dyed my eyebrows also did a wonderful job. the salon is beautiful, clean and spacious. everyone there is very friendly. it is a little pricey, but to me I'd rather pay more for a better job.

This is the second time I’ve gone in to the Cedar Bluff location for Mazi to do my hair, and she has done a great job both times! Mazi has a really valuable skill of being able to read when I’d like to talk and when I don’t and she is able to start conversation in a very casual, non-forced way so that it flows naturally. She is also, of course, extremely good at what she does! She is able to take my vague descriptions of what I’m thinking I want my look to be and hone in on what would look best. Really good experience overall!

Janay was great! She does both my daughter’s hair and mine. She’s very personable and makes your stay very relaxing. My daughter is a young teenager and she was very helpful and understanding of our goals. She made her hair look natural, but very pretty and dimensional. I’m so happy with my new look too. She was able to achieve exactly what I wanted. Thank you!

$60 for a straight-across trim is utterly ridiculous. That's set by the salon and is in no way shade thrown at the stylist. However, the stylist/colorist (whom I won't publicly name) and I had multiple conversations via Insta and TWO consultations before getting started. I brought more than 10 photos to share. We chatted at length and I was clear about the effect I wanted with color and what needed to happen (I have an autoimmune condition that caused some hair loss I was trying to disguise). The color put on was too dark, and when she went on lunch break, I even walked up the the customer service person and told her it was too dark as it was processing. I was dismissed all the way around. I don't even want to go back for a redo - my hair can't take it.

Gillian does amazing work and really listens to clients needs for their hair. I have really thick and curly/wavy combo hair that weights almost a million pounds. Gillian is the first stylists to actually thin my hair enough that I don’t feel like I’m carrying 20 extra pounds on my head. I cannot recommend her enough!! I’m so please the last 2 times I’ve seen her and I cannot wait for my next service with her!

Grade A customer service! Very impressed! After meeting with Casey to discuss my hair goals and get an amazing blow out, she pointed me in the direction of another stylist who specializes in the certain coloring technique I was looking for. Gillian was so great! Such a relaxing experience. I highly recommend using either of these two stylist.

Great experience! I had my appointment with Kristopher, who did a great job and was able to take my really bad input and turn it into something I was happy with. They also got me know fairly last-minute. Will be back!

I had left the salon in the past due to their pricing being too high and not being able to consistently stay with the same stylist. Decided to come back because i didnt like other places i tried as much. Booked a last minute appointment and was delighted. I booked online. When the stylist I booked with got a bit held up, the salon called me immediately and offered to get me with someone else within the time frame I needed. I ended up with Zoey, who did a fantastic job. Shampoo/Conditioner/Scalp Massage was great. I typically feel uncomfortable at the salon bc im not great at socializing and i have sensory issues, but Zoey made it super calming and easy. She didnt push me to talk small-talk the whole time, which was so nice. My hair was so damaged and heavy when I came in. When I left it felt light, silky smooth, and so much healthier. 10/10 experience! I'll probably be using this salon again regularly after this visit with Zoey.

I had my hair done by Kristopher on a Saturday. He was very professional and did an excellent job highlighting my hair. I would give a five stars based on the highlights. Unfortunately, the haircut was a one star. It was so uneven that my husband had to fix it. I’ve attached a picture of one side. I would absolutely get a balayage done from Kristopher again. I would ask for a different hairstylist for a trim. Now, I was about 8 minutes late to the appointment and I was very chatty so it could be that I distracted him. I’m really not sure. Either way, if I am paying a couple hundred dollars and tipping 15% to get my hair done, I don’t want to go home and have my husband “clean it up”. I’m sorry this isn’t a better review all around. Update: I added another star on here because the manager reached out to me on the same day to make it right. I look forward to my next appointment at Natural Alternatives.

Porter always does an amazing job cutting my hair. The products they sell are high quality and since it only takes a small amount, they last for a long time. Friendly staff, convenient location, great stylist, what else is there to say?!

This salon is ok if you have deep pockets. Hair color was ok, nothing special. Stylist was not a people person. Left me in chair while she and receptionist went to Kroger. Definitely expect a big tip. I have already found a salon that has everything this one lacks and at half the price.

This was the worst hair cut of my life! The color is great but the hair cut was awful. Do not ever go to Christopher . He cut my hair about 2 inches too short. I’m so upset. My hair has never been this short and I can barely fit my hair in a pony tail. It’s so short it flips out on the ends. Also he never asked me to upgrade to a hair treatment but gave it to me and charged me for it. I should have asked for a refund or refused to pay. I have gone to this place before many times never had an issue it’s just this specific stylist. Also he pulled my hair tangles and hurt me while doing my hair. I didn’t get my massage either, usually they massage my scalp at some point during the cut. If I’m gonna pay $200 then I would expect the bare minimum. Do not go to Christopher

Wonderful experience at Natural Alternatives, Cedar Bluff! I had the pleasure of having my hair cut and colored by Mazi. Not only was she considerate and thoughtful about my comfort and preferences, she was also very thorough; no leftover dye in my hair or uneven lengths. I got exactly what I hoped for! I feel like a rockstar lol. Highly recommend
